Sharla was a wonderful petsitter for our dog. She arrived early so we wouldn't need to worry about any last minute travel delays which I found very thoughtful. Sharla gives a very responsible and calm impression and it is obvious she loves pets. Louie and her seemed to get along right from the start. She sent us pictures, videos and little updates everyday, which helped us miss him less the 2 weeks we were gone. He seemed to be very well looked after and I definitly would ask her to sit again.
We were very very happy with Eric from the first few minutes of meeting him. He asked a number of questions about Biscuit and Lily, and we could tell he had read the narrative and Welcome Guide before he got here. He wanted to clarify a few things insure he understood what we wanted. He took Biscuit for a walk in the woods daily, which Biscuit loves. Lily, the cat, was being herself; staying to herself, but she knew when breakfast was supposed to be! And Eric made sure it was there! 😄 We got home to a very clean and tidy house. We could not have asked for better and would be happy to have Eric back anytime.
I would hire Maggie back in a heartbeat. She was gracious, kind, responsive and super wonderful with my 7 month old pup!! Thank you, Maggie, for being so fantastic!! Highly recommended.
I had a very relaxing sit at Susan's house with the adorable Enke and Sid. The house is very comfortable, with lots of space and a large kitchen to allow you to cook for yourself with ease. The property is secluded enough for privacy but not far from the nearest town which has all you need. Travel 30 mins and you would be in the city of Ottawa. It's very quiet, which I loved, as I have 2 buildings being built right by me in the city. I had the best sleeps there. The cats and I spent a lot of time in the screened in porch, aka catio, watching all the birds at the feeders and the squirrels trying to get at them. I would highly recommend this sit.
