I can't recommend Best Friends Pet Hotel in Sudbury highly enough. My dog has been going there regularly, and the transformation has been incredible. Shes become so much more confident around people and is having an absolute blast playing with the other dogs. Heidi and her staff are consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about each pet’s well-being. I’ve never encountered any issues, and it’s clear that they prioritize making every pet feel comfortable and happy. It’s a relief to know my dog is in such good hands. Sharra has been grooming my dogs for many years. She is incredibly good with them. They always look beautiful after their bath and cut.

We are extremely happy with the services provided by Best Friends. We have been bringing our dog, Abbey since she was puppy. We use the Doggy Day Camp, Grooming services and Boarding. Everyone at Best Friends are polite and very kind to Abbey. We use their boarding service many times during a year.

We have been going here for about a year and my doodle loves it. The staff is super caring and Zeus enjoys his time there. Heidi and Katie are wonderful and really care about the fur campers. Grooming is readily available and always with a good outcome. Highly recommend!

Our 2 dogs, Ace & Cookie love Best Friends in Sudbury! We have used them for boarding & grooming. The staff does such an amazing job taking care of our pets while we are away. Our kids love to check up on them through their petcam during the play group sessions. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The grooming service my dog Luna received was excellent. It really helped lesson the shedding (yellow Lab)! Luna was calm and happy to return to the friendly groomers.

Best Friends is very clean, organized and friendly. Our elderly dog Peanut has boarded there since he was a puppy. He is always happy there and treated with such kindness and love. The grooming services are excellent as well!

My pup comes home from day camp happy and tired, and I feel better having a place for her to go when I can’t be at home with her during the work day. Staff are great and are always so welcoming to my dog when we arrive.

I can’t stop raving about Best Friends, Sudbury, and if my pup, Henri, could talk, he’d be saying “WOOF, WOOF!” in total agreement. Henri loves going to the Doggy Day Camp and seeing all his human and canine BFFs, and I love watching them on the cam as much as possible. My pups always come home tired and happy after a stay with Best Friends! They are healthy and, thanks to the on-site grooming facilities, they look much better coming home than going in! Given that I’m often exhausted after a trip, I kind of think I need to book myself a stay at Best Friends!

We are so grateful for Annie's service while we lived in Waltham. The website is so easy to use to request services and I loved the daily emails after her visits. While my cat is skittish of everyone, Annie took the time to make sure she felt comfortable during her visits. She also came over a visit before our first visit to get to know us and our cat. Annie was my sitter for my cat Brendan when I temporarily lived in Waltham for work. Annie took care of Brendan on a few last minute urgent occasions. Once I was gone for 2 weeks. She really saved me. She’s a lovely person who truly loves animals. When I returned from being out of town Brendan always looked content and litter box clean. You and your pet will love Annie.

Above & Beyond Pet Services is wonderful. I transitioned my King Charles Cavalier to dog walks about 12 months ago from doggie daycare as I realized he preferred the one on one attention. Sophia has been his primary walker for several months now. She is very attentive to Asher and will always mention in her notes if she notices anything out of the ordinary. I met her and she is very kind and caring. I know that Asher is in good hands and that she is able to adjust to his needs each day which differ based on my schedule with him and if we walked the prior night or earlier in the morning. I know that he looks forward to spending time with her whether they walk or play depending on his needs for the day I know she is giving him lots of love and attention. I am so grateful to have this incredible reliable and professional service for my dog who is my family.

Elise and Lillian walked our aging pup under the senior walk program (2x a day). They were both amazing, and Maya loved all of her walkers from A&B, but these two take the cake! We are so grateful for Above and Beyond and the services they provide. When we adopted our puppy, we never expected it to be so hard to find dog care but once we found them, they have been amazing. The entire company, from the office staff to the walkers, especially Katsumi, treats Quinn like she is their own. I've been using Above & Beyond for years, and they've always done a great job taking care of my two cats. I have them bring in my mail, in addition to putting out food and water, and scooping the litter. I get nervous about leaving my cats for trips, but the daily email updates A&B sends with photos of the cats and the services they're doing really puts my mind at ease. They've always been easy to schedule and communicate with. Would highly recommend.

2 years ago we welcomed a new dog into our family. Since then It has been more work than I had planned. Due to our work schedule we needed someone to take Waggs for a walk once to twice a day and some occasional pet sitting. Through a family recommendation we hired Shivaun Pryor. She has been wonderful over the past 2 years. She is always on time for her walks and is a wonderful person and take care and has a love for Waggs!

Shivaun has taken care of our dogs and cats for over 15 years. We have never looked elsewhere because of her reliability, service, and reasonable fees. She has done daily dog walks during the weeks through the lives of two boxers and cared for dogs and cats while we have been gone on vacation or visiting family. Whenever we had emergency travel she would step up and do whatever we needed. I have never had a concern with her in our house or taking care of our pets. In addition to pet care, she has run errands for us when needed, picked up or dropped off packages, etc. She has done house cleaning for us and we have always been happy with the results. Finding someone as reliable as Shivaun has certainly made our life easier and I highly recommend her services to you.

Shivaun has been been pet sitting for my cats, multiple times a year, for over 8 years. She also waters the plants and brings in the mail. We never had any issues. She is very responsible and responsive. She even takes pictures of our cats, and send them to us, when we are on long vacations (she knows we miss them), and we really appreciate that gesture.

Shivaun is great and extremely reliable. I have two dogs, an 80 lb shephard mix and a 50 lb hound mix. She walks each separately twice a week. She always checks ahead to confirm if I want her to come on holidays.

Mary took away all of our anxiety about leaving our three month old puppy alone. In December we got the first puppy of our lifetimes and, being retired, we stayed at home for three months doting on her. When friends came to meet Beazie, we observed that she was timid and it took her a while to become comfortable with each new person. We dreaded the inevitable time when we would both have to be away from the house and leave her in the care of someone else. Mary volunteered to come for a meet and greet prior to our first pet sitting appointment. She requested that we run through Beazie’s entire potty routine from beginning to end to accustom Beazie to her presence. Mary instinctively knew how to approach Beazie in a way that helped her become more at ease. She brought treats and a special toy which continues to be her favorite as she approaches her first birthday. After only a few minutes, Beazie was settled in her lap without fear and Mary’s love of animals was clearly on display. Her practical knowledge of animals and their behavior has been incredibly valuable as we have never raised a dog. Mary is friendly, trustworthy, flexible and dependable. We never worry a minute when we are away from the house. We don’t know what we would do without Mary. Neither does Beazie!

I can't say enough good things about Mary Littlefield who takes care of our very timid cat when we travel, which we do often. Miss Violet usually streaks upstairs when she hears a car pull into the driveway, and there she keeps watch from the top step, expecting pillage and mayhem and the demise of us all .... unless it's Mary. Then she comes downstairs quickly and purrs loudly while directing long, meaningful glances toward her sitter. She's utterly shameless in her admiration for Mary. We try to ignore Miss Violet's outlandish behaviour, but sometimes wonder if we should spend more time at home -- put a little damper on this foolish infatuation. There was a crisis three years ago when Miss Violet swallowed a long string, and we weren't due back for another week. Mary handled the situation beautifully and kept us abreast of what was going on before and after the procedure to remove it. (Thanks, Mary!) Mary has apologized for endearing herself so to Miss Vi, and we forgive her wholeheartedly. She's become indispensable to our gadabout family. I can't recommend Mary Littlefield highly enough to anyone who travels and needs to leave a shy kitty at home.

We absolutely love WDYD! They are so friendly and provide such excellent care to the pups in their care. We recently moved closer, and are so excited about being on a weekly schedule with them. Love this dog care center especially with no crates! Dogs have wide open rooms, A/C, and beds for naps and overnights. Super caring, fun, accommodating, clean, comfortable roomy play spaces for our pups! The staff is very attentive to our little loves. They have been so reliable and I don’t know what I’d do without them. Toby’s turning into a super social puppy!

Passing by I saw your sign We dig your dog and then saw Grooming, (I hadn’t checked out your facility as I had been in search of a new groomer since LC had closed) so glad I did because that was when I read Laura was there!!! She was always so fantastic with my dog Tucker. I got an appointment with her the very next day. Tucker was treated very well as he can be a handful, but Laura always knows how to handle him. Your facility is beautiful, staff working there are super friendly and I will definitely recommend you to everyone!!!

We Dig Your Dog is the best dog daycare/boarding/grooming facility my dog has been apart of. They truly care for your dog, have many different areas for them to play or rest, and are flexible to fit your dog's needs. Their prices are more than reasonable for never crating dogs, even during boarding. They always have things to say about my dog at the end of the dog and have been understanding and kind when my dog has had a cranky day or made a mistake. They are also so accommodating to my ever-changing schedule and last minute changes. Since moving to Massachusetts, We Dig Your Dog has been one of the best things to happen to both my dog and I, and I can't extend my gratitude enough :)

Shae (Norwegian Elk Hound) is traditionally skittish around new people, but once you’re in your clan she’s your BFF. They took the time to get to know her and make her comfortable and she had a fantastic time while she was there. The team is great and is always willing to give you an update when you call. 10/10 Shae can’t wait for her next stay

Southboro Kennels is absolutely amazing, and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. really a wonderful family owned small business. We had never boarded our two corgi puppies before, or left them for a more than a weekend, but we went to Hawaii for 14 days and kept our pups with them the entire time. Southboro Kennels was incredibly knowledgeable about all breeds in terms of personality and how to care best for them. They absolutely went the extra mile to make both our dogs and us feel comfortable while we were gone. I can definitely tell both dogs had an awesome time there, and our younger one even seems more social with other dogs since coming home. Will be boarding there for all our future needs!

I'm so happy I found this place! I have a fear reactive corso who takes a while to warm up to new people (once he does he's the biggest softy). This makes finding boarding for him very difficult. Everyone at Southborough Kennels was amazing with him! They took the proper steps to slowly get him comfortable with the facility as well as all the staff he would come in contact with. They were so patient, understanding and professional! He's only spent a handful of days here so far, but I can tell he's already happy to see the staff and to get out into the yard and play ball.

Boarded my two large breed dogs here, one of which is an unfixed female under a year old. They kept them together and not in group sessions because of the female's status (which I wanted anyway). They were also receptive about my concerns about bloat and to not have any of their play sessions for at least an hour after they had eaten. I feel confident about leaving them there again.

Our mini-poodle, Teddy LOVES it here! We have left him here for a week at a time and at pick up he greets the staff with the same eagerness as us! Great that the dogs get a private run, and we add two play times daily. Bath on his way out is a plus - today he was quite.ready for the 4th of July 😀 …

It is a great spot for our dog to stay and be treated well. We have been long timed customers and we are on our next generation of dogs as guests. They always race to go in and are tail wagging when they come out. Mitchell, Amanda and Zach are dog people and hire a great team. Highly recommend them.

This place not only watches your dogs, they care for them. We picked up our anxious dog after her first overnight ever and she was calm and happy, no excessive energy or fear. Both our dogs love it here.

I had my kitten boarded here for 5 days last week and they took such good care of him! Everyone there is extremely nice and helpful. I was nervous about having to leave my kitten behind for several days, but he was in great hands and given lots of love and care. I will definitely continue taking my pets here when I am out of town.

We have been coming here for years. They have always been fantastic, trustworthy consistent. The staff have always been attentive, caring, and really love being with the animals. The runs (for the dogs) are indoor/outdoor and fairly large. Our dog Jesse seems to enjoy it, he comes at least twice a year for extended vacations. We also boarded our cat Loki here (when she was still around) We have been coming here since 2013 and will continue. I highly recommend Southboro Kennels! This is hands down the best kennel I have ever taken my dogs to. The staff are so friendly and helpful and truly cared for my dogs while they were there. They knew my dogs so well by the time they went home! I highly recommend Southboro Kennels and they will be my go-to moving forward.

Michael has done a wonderful dog taking care of our dog Penny for the past 5 years. He provides in home care at his home, as well as walks at our house when needed. Every time, my dog gets so excited to see him. He sends pictures and updates while we are away. We are so fortunate to have such a responsible and kind caretaker for our pup while we are away.

Mike has been my pet sitter for 5 years and has provided consistently excellent service the whole time. He visits my furry friends when I am out of town and provides them with fresh food and milk daily. He also sends me a little video of them each day! When I have needed help with extra things (bringing in packages, watering plants), he has done those things as well. He is reliable, kind, and very good with animals. My little guys love him. Mike has also done great with improvising to handle unexpected situations (e.g. I was out of town longer than expected and hadn't left extra pet food). I trust him fully. I have high standards for pet care and Mike exceeds them every time. I recommend him without reservation - as do my pets!

Mike has been walking my dog for about 2 years now, and we couldn't be happier with him. He is flexible, and reliable. When I can't be home to walk my dog, I don't worry because I know I can depend on Mike. After each walk he will always send me an update on how the walk went. We LOVE Happy Dog! When we moved to Belmont 6 years ago, I was very worried about finding a reliable & trustworthy person, that also loved our high maintenance frenchie who would care for her during the work week. Michael came to my house to meet our dog, and I seriously grilled him (we joke about this now). Thankfully, I didn’t scare Michael away & he agreed to take care of our Birkin GiGi. The bond that Birkin has with Marcia & Michael melts my heart. One of the highlights of my day is checking Happy Dog’s facebook posts, cannot get enough of the adorable dog photos. My dog is sick often, Marcia and Michael text to check in on Birkin. Marcia & Michael always make sure to stock everyone’s favorite treats! It’s easy to see that this is not just a job for them, they truly LOVE the animals that they care for. I cannot recommend Happy Dog enough!

Mike and Marcia have taken care of both of our dogs, since 2006. They take our current dog, Lucy, on daily walks, which includes some socialization with other dogs - a big deal, since our dog is very much an only child. And we also board Lucy overnight with them, sometimes for weekends and occasionally when we take long trips away. They even helped us when our previous dog recovered from surgery, and provided appropriate and loving care during a lengthy recovery. We trust them completely and do not hesitate to recommend them.

I have known Mike for over a decade. I have entrusted him to care for two beloved chocolate labradors, both rescue dogs. The key word is trust. I trust him implicitly that he will do the right thing for my pets in any given situation. This trust is earned and based on years of integrity, dependability, professionalism, empathy, and compassion. When we got to the stage of caring for a 100lb geriatric dog, Mike stepped up and helped us get through various canine health issues that many times were not trivial. It would have been impossible to have provided quality end of life care without Mike. Mike can “read” dogs and will make good decisions about how the dog is doing and what will work or not work in a given situation. My current labrador is very sweet but has triggers that can lead to bad behavior. Shortly after getting her Mike helped me figure out her triggers and what situations were doable and what was a no go for her. Mike has taken care of my dogs at my house during travel. The last trip, within an hour of him arriving he sent me a picture of my puppy belly up on the couch wanting belly rubs from Mike. She loves and trust him. That is everything to me. I highly recommend Mike and HappyDog.

Walden Pets does an amazing job with my high energy, social dog. The service that works well for us is group trail hikes, because my dog loves running off leash on trails and playing with other dogs (and people). He has a lot of energy. Walden Pets walkers pick up a couple or a few dogs and bring them on local trails, and my dog gets a lot of socialization and exercise. We previously did full-day dog daycare, and switched over to 2 group hikes per day with Walden Pets, and I’m so happy it’s working out! My dog has so much fun and comes home happy and tired. I’m so happy he gets to spend time outdoors. I think Walden Pets is the best dog care option in this area. The walkers are amazing… super detailed, trustworthy and hilarious. They provide photos and reports after each visit and these reports and photos make me so happy and laugh out loud. I feel my dog is in very good hands with Walden Pets. The walkers also feed him!

I've been a client of Walden Pet for 5 years now and they are wonderful! They take care of my cat Goose whenever I am away and he LOVES it when they show up. They feed him and take care of his litter box exactly as I ask and they play with him and give him lots of affection every time they see him. Walden Pet is great! My boys look forward to their daily outings with their usual walkers, Peter and Jill. I get a report card update, photos and even video clips after each visit on the phone app. The walkers make me feel like they love my boys as much as I do. I use Walden Pet for vacation pet care too, for both my dogs and cats (and fish!). There is no bigger comfort than knowing your fur family is being well cared for when you can’t be there personally. We have a three-year-old Dutch spaniel named Tai-San. He’s an energetic dog who loves walking in the woods and exploring different scents. For his regular one-hour off-leash trail walks, we use Walden Pet. Walden Pet offers a variety of walking styles and durations, and their booking app is easy to use. Over almost two years, Tai-San has been walked by several different dog walkers. While each walker has their own approach, they are all dog lovers, and Tai-San loves them all. Before each walk, we usually receive a notification about the walker’s arrival time. Afterward, we get an activity report that includes locations, bathroom breaks, cute pictures, and fun comments. These trail walks have also helped Tai-San improve his social skills and expand his circle of furry friends in the neighborhood.

Just as important as the exercise, our dog craves affection and the staff goes above and beyond to give her as much attention as our family does. Our family has relied on Walden Pet as our "dog walker" for the last ten years straight. We were really happy with Walden Pets. We had never used dog walkers before so we were a little nervous (mostly because of our dogs) but they were great! After the walk they reported back how the walk went. We loved getting the reports and especially the pictures. We will definitely use them again and highly recommend.

We love that they take him on trails and he gets socialized with other dogs, and it's so great that they send you a message and photos from every walk. We used A Better Way for the first time (twice!) in August and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable pet sitter. We recently took in a senior cat and needed someone to look after him during a couple trips we had planned. They took amazing care of him and we came home to a very happy and healthy cat both times. Michele (the owner) and Liz are super professional and loving pet sitters, who really go above and beyond to make sure your pet gets everything they need while you’re away. They do the basics like feeding and scooping litter; but also gave him daily brushing, played with him, and gave him lots of affection. They leave a daily report saying what they did and how our cat Nick was doing every day, which are really nice to read when you get home, and always responded promptly when we texted asking how things are going. They also took amazing care of our potted outdoor plants and 4 newly planted trees, in addition to taking in our mail every day and putting the trash and recycling on the curb for trash pickup. I felt much more relaxed knowing our cat and house were in good hands while we were away. I can’t recommend them enough!

I cannot say enough about Wendi and the ladies. They are all super. I have been a client for over 15 years with all my dogs. Wendi even stayed with me when I had to put my little Murphy down. You don't see that kind of service from many places today. My pets are like their own pets.

Best pet sitting in the area! They have a meeting with you to walk through your home as a new client to determine all of your pet's needs. Billing is sent to your email (which I really appreciate it). They provide detailed notes for every day they visit with pre-maid sheets that, to me, are truly wonderful to come home to. :D Best of all is their service and compassionate care. We had a family emergency recently, and Better Way Pet Sitting jumped in and was able to look after our cats. It was truly valuable to have a service we trusted when we needed it. The most important aspect of a pet care company is reliability, which you will get 100% with ABW. I used them frequently when I had knee surgery and couldn't walk my puppy, and continued with their services for the convenience of being able to stay at work through lunch. They always come exactly when they said they will and I love how they leave me notes after each visit! My pups were well taken care of!

I have been using ABW for almost 5 years for my dogs and they have been nothing short of fantastic. In the beginning of looking for someone to take my dogs out in the middle of the day while I was at work, I was not super comfortable with someone being in my house while I wasn’t home let alone with my dogs!
