I am a new zeewoi user(this is my second time) so my guide was not complete upon Sharon’s early arrival on March 31st, but all the basics were included. It states Reba the dog is a three year old labrador retriever who would require walks around the neighborhood, ball play, and practice of her manners and training. That is the list Sharon accepted. ( Why would I have intentionally blocked her as she professes  if I was trying to communicate with her about caring for my beloved pet? I’m just new to using the platform, as I’ve stated above).
Sharon arrived a week early on March 31st, AT MY INVITATION, AS A FAVOR TO HER, well before she was needed for the actual sit for my trip to begin April 9. 
She was very good with Reba. She gladly spent time throwing the ball to Reba ( though not in the area of the yard that I had twice specified to Sharon, and is in the listing)  she accompanied us to a Dog Training session,  went on a walk in the neighborhood, drove to a small dog park together. She kindly started a preliminary list of verbal manual commands I useto communicate with Reba. She was good, kind and generous with her time with Reba. But she balked at the idea that so much effort would be needed in caring for this dog. Further, Sharon stated no other zeewoi sitter would ever accept this sit because most sitters just want a free vacation and are not really interested in caring for the dog, and went onto emphasize how lucky I was to have her accept this assignment. That led me to Hire Zak our dog trainer to take Reba three days per week for several hours per day, for the duration of the sit, to give Sharon some free time to herself.
Sharon often interrupted and talked over me, contradicted me when I was getting Reba to come to me, to sit, abd while showing her how to calm Reba., To get her to pay attention, to stop whining. She said the dog wasn’t doing anything wrong, it was that I was too stressed because I have so much more in my life than Sharon does… So OUT OF PLACE! she repeatedly recited her many personal achievements, her 28 disciplines, how many management and maintenance skills and dual Fulbright scholarships she has, and again repeated how very special she knows she is.
Sharon couldn’t accept simple directions about connecting the dog collar (she stated she already knows every harness and leash there is), administering heartworm meds (she has sat for hundreds of various animals)  or need for continued use of Reba’s “place bed “(she raised her voice to me that the accommodations “are too crowded for it to fit in her space” before I could explain it’s importance in Reba’s care, then later scolded me for not explaining it!) without giving another speech about the hundreds of sits she’s had, how another pet owner would have paid her thousands of dollars for her services, how another sit had earned her a silver necklace as a thank you, all the barbershops she opened in Germany, her Fulbright schokarships again, and how lucky I am to have gotten her. And on and on. 
Sharon even scolded me when I asked her about scheduling Zak the hired dog trainer.  She raised her voice and told me to keep out of it, that it was between her and Zak. She often talked over me when I was trying to 
re-explain certain things to her because she wasn’t complying.  sharon couldn’t answer a simple question without another rant about all that she knows and how capable she is when An Issue arose regarding a possible eye infection on the dog, to which I clearly stated that my friend Judy, who is listed as a contact person would be the only person to take Reba to the vet, IF THERE WAS A CLOUDY DISCHARGE. not Sharon not ZaK. I NEVER told Sharon to take Reba to the vet despite what she says.  Sharon never  answered that simple question about discharge, but went off on another unnecessary rant. She said I wasn’t listening because of “the wine or maybe dementia“ and made a comment about my dead ?? husband, which I do not have!
 And last, but not least, she failed to administer the prescribed, heartworm and flea and tick prevention medicineS on the date I clearly specified to be April 15.
Please note Sharon carries a knife on her belt, so I would not want to mess with her. Sharon‘s nasty grams have ruined the first week of my Japan vacation. I was so relieved when Zak took got custody of Reba on April 19th. Sharon departed the sit and the premises on 20 April, which was 12 days before the original agreed-upon date of May 2 
I am sorry she and I opted to communicate outside the zeewoi platform because I cannot imagine she would speak so rudely, so disrespectfully to a pet owner. yes, I have screen shots, and account from my listed contact people about how she disrespected them also. 
MY REBA IS SAFE AND SOUND.

Glenn did a great job of caring for Lil Frank, our corgi, for a week during our time away.  He was especially good at communicating with me to arrange details, and also great at keeping us posted on how Frankie was doing while we were away.  He left the apartment clean, and took good care of our plants.  We recommend Glenn without hesitation to care for your animals and home.  He's a great guy and will do a fantastic job!
