Alex & Christian are awesome hosts and replied quickly to any questions I had. The apartment is in an amazing location. The lounge and dining room is filled with sunlight all day long; perfect for relaxing. Outside there's a green park where you can sunbathe if you like! The bed room and kitchen are quiet, facing courtyards. Trump is a sweet, shy and independent cat. He's attached to Alex and not used to being handled by others, so it took a while for him to ease up for his daily eye cleaning. Malmö is perfect for bicycling! I love it - and was able to use their foldable bike to get around town. Walking along the beach is another fantastic thing to do when the weather is nice. Tip: The eco bakery "Leve" is a short walk away - they have the most amazing and delicious doughnuts freshly made and other goodies. I had a lovely time!
Jan, David and M ,their precious kitty ,was a wonderful stay and enjoyed the solitude. M is 14 yet a kitten at heart and on the shy side. We bonded and M loves head massages and then would sit on the headboard of bed and massage my head! I have never had this happen before with my own lifetime of kittens. M slept with me, loved being brushed and chasing her white mouse toy. The view from their home of a pond ,golf course and the wondrous Monsoon’s is stunning! The community has 4 Recreation centers with pools, gyms, a/c walking areas and endless crafts/ music to join. Fortunately I was needing a new hip with wait list in California and Jan and David suggested Core Institute orthopedic hospital. So got new hip! M loved me doing exercises on the bed and I would read daily for a few hours with M curled up by me. This pet sit was a delight on so many levels! Asha is a sweetheart and there’s nothing better than spending time with her and waking up to her morning kisses. She’s game for hiking, going to the dog park, riding in the car or doing just about anything (especially if there’s a treat involved :-) Ravi’s home is lovely inside and out with an attention to artistic details. It’s set in the beautiful tall redwoods and I saw deer, turkeys and owls as I sat out on the deck. The inside is warm with colors and decor and quite comfortable. It feels like a retreat. Yet within walking distance are yummy restaurants, Muir Woods and hikes galore. Locals were friendly and I caught a concert at the Depot. Ravi was very responsive and communication was easy and clear. I’d highly recommend this sit! I miss Asha’s companionship already. I’d pet sit again in a heartbeat.
We had a fab time at Matt & Hazel's. Its a cosy, comfortable and clean flat in a lovely location with footpath access to the south downs and on the direct bus route into Brighton. Smokey and Chivers are beautiful cats - super cuddly, affectionate and funny. Matt and Hazel were warm and welcoming. We loved it here! Thanks :) x
Dianne and Dominique have been the best hosts I have ever had. Before the sit, we talked on 2 video calls and Dianne has taken the time to explain everything about Bijou, the cat. When I arrived to theirs house, Dianne took the time to welcome me, add explanation and an additional welcome guide, and made sure to provide me all the comfort possible for my stay. Communication was maintained during all my stay, and it was fluid and excellent. The house was immaculate, comfortable, well equipped and very well located. Bijou is an adorable independent cat, yet affectionate and very low maintenance. I highly recommend sitting at Dianne and Dominique house for their friendly, respectful and warm approach. Thank you Gina for inviting us to house / pet sit for you & Buddy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Before commencing our sit Gina provided us clear notes about Buddy & the home. On arrival Gina met us with a warm welcome & was happy to over the details to ensure we understood Buddy's care needs & the running of the home. Buddy is an absolute delight. He is very easy going, friendly, calm and obedient. Really we found Buddy super easy to care for. We loved taking Buddy for long walks in the truly picturesque area. The times we let Buddy off lead he stayed close, never venturing too far from us. Between walks Buddy basically lay in his bed and slept. Gina's home is lovely. It is modern, clean & very comfortable (the bed was very comfortable too). We found the home very quiet. The off street parking & security gates were added bonuses. And of course we loved the water views from the home. We would happily return if invited & the planets align. We certainly recommend the house sit to others. Estelle & Greg
