This did not work out because I had an unexpected visitor come also while Kristen was here. She left a day earlier than planned leaving the dog with my house guest to care for. I was sorry it worked out that way. Kristen was polite and made a quiet exit. This was unexpected circumstances.
My stay at Terra’s with Tallulah was great. Terra was very thorough in explaining the responsibilities and other necessary information to ensure a comfortable stay. Tallulah is so sweet and loves to cuddle! The house was lovely and in a great location.
What a fabulous house sit! Tony and Suzi have set the bar with this experience. The welcome guide was comprehensive and included everything we needed to know to ensure a successful house sit for all. When we arrived, Suzi explained everything again so we were completely comfortable and familiar with the dogs’ routines before they left on vacation. We met as strangers and departed as friends, such was the amazing hospitality we received from Suzi and Tony. Suzi went to great lengths to show us the regional towns and introduce us to their neighbours and friends, who warmly welcomed us into the community. It felt like coming home! And what a home it is! Their property is gorgeous, comfortable and well appointed. We lacked for nothing and loved every moment of this wonderful house sit. They even invited us to come early ahead of the sit and stay on after their return. We enjoyed so many delicious home-cooked meals together, hours of companionable conversation and promises for future meetups. Saffi and Gus are absolutely beautiful, incredibly loveable dogs. The weeks flew past, and the tearful farewells came far too soon. As we were saying our goodbyes, little Gus was whimpering softly and shaking with upset, such was the bond we had developed during our short time together. It was so touching to see that he loved me as much as I had come to love him. What his little body lacks in size he makes up for with his mammoth personality. We dubbed this little dynamo Rocket Man because he is such an endearing, energetic, spirited little dog who totally captured our hearts. His big sister, Saffi, is a gorgeous, silky soft Golden Queen, who is every bit as lovable and affectionate as Gus. Sweet, gentle, even-tempered Saffi will also hold a forever place in our hearts. As difficult as it was to say goodbye to this wonderful family of humans and canines, we leave with grateful hearts for all the love, friendship and memories we take with us. Thank you, thank you for entrusting us with your home and adorable fur family. We WILL be back!
Housesitting for Janice was a pleasure . Janice's home is lovely and all three of our charges were well behaved and fun to be with. The area is amazing and we did beautiful walks along the Pemrokeshire coast and visited wonderful villages and castles with the dogs. Thank you Janice for sharing your home Jo and Jim
Ronnie and John are wonderful people and I would highly recommend them for anyone considering applying to sit for them. They conducted a Zoom interview of me before the sit and after the offer was made and accepted Ronnie was easy to contact and through in communicating the needed details. The house is very clean and modern with every convenience. The cats, "Bernie" and "Mama", are sweet and gentle and a delight to be around. I give this sit a well deserved 5 thumbs up!
