Fernando's apartment is incredible, well located, safe and very quiet. You will feel at home. Rufus is the cutest and most special, you are going to love him because he is super cute, spoiled and playful. He is super loving and makes you feel even more like his company is the best. Super recommending. Finally, Fernando, who is super friendly and is always willing to help you and I will be able to provide you with any help.
A superb sit at Charlotte’s beautiful home and hope to return again. Poppy is a gorgeous, exuberant, loving playful pup. She spent hours playing with our dog Oscar. Her recall is excellent, lead walk better than our Oscars, and he’s 6!! Poppy loves nothing more than a romp through the fields and woods surrounding the house. We had many long walks with Poppy and Zara taking them to a variety of different places locally, drinking coffee in the local cafes, with the girls coping and behaving admirably. Zara is a perfect lab. Loving, obedient and at the tender age of 14, still happy to have her walks and sniffs, somewhat slower than Poppy, but still happy to be out and about particularly in grassy or sandy areas. Finally, Charlotte was a charming host with a fabulous house in a wonderful location. Near local farm shops, deli’s, fishmongers and superb beaches. There are supermarkets near by but I’d suggest you visit the local shops where a warm welcome and delightful produce is readily available.
David and I had "the best" house-sit at Mikki's in Haciendas 2, Chapala, Jalisco, Mexico She treated us like family and spoiled us for sure. She was extremely generous and thoughtful. The 6 little doggies were a delight to be with. Can't imagine having 6 dogs but these were a wonderful, loving, and easily manageable group to be with. This is NOT a 5-star sit....this is a 10-star sit. We would just love to just move back in with Mikki and the gang.
We had such a nice stay, Monique and Harry made us very welcome and ensured we had a comfortable experience. They give great instructions and a super helpful manual….and if you get to have a meal…wow yummy! Looking after the animals was easy and taking Blossom for her walks was a highlight of our trip. We would definitely recommend staying here and if we get a chance to do it again we will 😊😊😊
Foxy was unwell when I arrived and Hazel and Geoff contacted their vet detailing their, mine and Foxy’s situation and organised an appointment for him. Whilst my first solo interaction with Foxy resulted in being bitten and scratched this wasn’t down to him or Hazel and Geoff but rather the reception officer not passing on any information and a new vet who hadn’t appraised themselves of his history. After I rang them to give an update on the visit and Foxy, they called the practice and made them aware of what had occurred. Thankfully Foxy did improve and in a very short time he was following me around and asking for head rubs and at least once every day we played games with his balls. Not every night, and not for the whole night, but several nights Foxy came and slept on my bed. Hazel and Geoff gave detailed instructions on how to interact with Foxy and if these are followed, he will delight you as he did me. Communication with Hazel and Geoff before and throughout this sit was excellent and they loved receiving videos, photos, and updates on Foxy. Detailed and very helpful instructions and information on their home and the local area were provided. Their home is in a beautiful location with great walks and scenery, and I was able to leave the car and catch the bus from Mevagissey that connected me to many different parts of Cornwall.

Laoise and the Outpaws team have walked our dog Ted several times when we have been on holiday as he has been staying with family in the area that they cover. They have always been so accommodating of dates and times and his stubborn ways! We really appreciate the updates and photos they give from his walks so that we can see how he is while we’re away. He’s always delighted and well cared for. I wish we lived closer so that we could use them for regular walks but look forward to using them again next time we are away.
Our dogs love OUTPAWS!!! We’ve had the pleasure of Rose and Georgia looking after them over the past two years, on separate occasions, and the peace of mind it has given us has been enormous. We’ve been able to go on holidays knowing they are getting superb care, attention and stimulation. Moved to Ireland back in October and found Laoise and her team. Can't say enough good things about them! Remy doesn't do well with kennels, so having someone come stay at the house with him was very appealing. Best idea ever! Georgia has stayed with him twice now; both times for a week. We can really tell she loves animals and Remy obviously enjoys spending time with her. What I appreciate the most are the videos and pics we receive multiple times a day showing Remy living his best life on walks, playing ball, or napping because he's worn out from all the walks and ball. Remy is cherished member of our family and it warms my heart to be able to leave him with someone that shows him as much love as we do!
We had a fantastic experience with OUTPAWS a few weeks ago. Our dog Bailey was minded by the lovely Georgia for a week while we were away. We met Georgia in advance and she was very friendly and clearly experienced in minding animals. We felt very safe and secure with her minding Bailey and got lots of great updates throughout the week. Bailey looked happy and was brought on lots of walks. We will definitely be using OUTPAWS again. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
Louise runs a very supportive, caring business for dog owners and her amazing team. We have contacted Louise on four occasions in the last 7 months and each time has been a great success, Noodles is cared for in her own surroundings and we are sent daily reports of Noodles walks, including cuddle time - all of the team are studying veterinary care so we also feel secure knowing that she is cared for by genuine animal lovers. Louise is incredibly efficient and makes arrangement by WhatsApp and payment easy - we would be lost without them!
Laoise is the most capable and loving dog walker we’ve ever used. Our vizsla Amber rushes to the door when she hears her car pull up and is buzzing with excitement trying to tell us about her run and swim when she comes back and soon flops on the couch from tiredness. Laoise has made our move to Dublin a few years ago manageable by helping us with Amber.

We've been using Outpaws for a few months now and I am delighted with the service. Laoise and the team are really professional and easy to work with. We confirm our walking schedule each Sunday, which gives me the flexibility I need with my new hybrid work schedule. Communication is great, so we know who is coming when, and I get photos throughout Pudding's play in the park. I feel like the team care about my pup as much as I do, and trust them to take care of her during her hour-long outing. She comes home happy and tired, ready to nap through my afternoon Zoom calls. This has made the return to the office so much easier for me, as I know Pudds is having a great day even when I'm gone and she's a much easier office-mate when I'm WFH. Her schedule isn't disrupted no matter what my work day looks like thanks to the Outpaws team.

Amazing service! We had Valeria staying with our three dogs for just over a week and she treated them so well. They were really happy and relaxed when we came home after our trip. I was nervous of the idea of using a Petsitter as we have typically relied on family previously. From the initial enquiry call from Mike, I was instantly relieved we had another option for our two dogs, one being reactive, kennels just isn’t an option. From the initial video call with our sitter, Chrissy, to get to know her, we knew our dogs were in really safe and capable hands. From the moment she walked in the door our dogs liked her. She took the time to ask about their habits and routines and what they liked. Sending photos and updates several times throughout the weekend where they looked lovely and relaxed. As a bonus our house was also looked after while we were gone. Very happy with the service we received. Davi the sitter kept in contact with us throughout the 9 days. Cats looked happy, healthy and importantly relaxed on our return. Davi sent us videos so we could see them and see that they were relaxed while we were away. This was our first time using Pet Sitters Ireland and we will definitely book again when the need arises. A real sense of relief to know out beloved pets are safe and in good hands.
Amazing service! Our little dachshund Daphne is nervous of strangers so we were extremely anxious to leave her while we got married. Michael the owner is so lovely and friendly, he really put us at ease and arranged everything for us. Daphne stayed with Paul & Jane who looked after her like she was their own dog. She settled in so well with Paul & Jane, it shows how gentle and caring they are towards animals. We got regular updates and they even travelled to our wedding ceremony so Daphne could be part of the day. It was so wonderful to have her there. We cannot thank you all enough for everything you have done for us and Daphne. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Daphne in your care again. We will be highly recommending you to everyone we know.
I had a wonderful pet sitter called Emilia. She was absolutely fantastic so kind to my cat Ozzie. She did an amazing job and is a credit to the company. In the run up to organising my trip the owner Mike and anyone I spoke to in the office were so nice and helpful. I am always nervous to leave my cat as he is an older cat but I wouldn’t trust him with anyone else. I got updates and photos and felt totally at ease that he had the best care. My dachshund Danann took part in the Nose of Tralee 2024 as the Kildare Nose and it’s been the most fun experience! Kate from Pet Sitters is a pleasure to work with and sent us out some lovely treats and a beautiful sash for Danann to campaign in! We had so much fun making videos, taking pictures and writing up a blog for Danann during and in the run up to the final of the competition! Kate kept the excitement and going for all of the Noses from beginning to end of the process! We had so much craic and would definitely recommend that our dog/cat loving pals apply next year!
Would strongly discourage using this service. I had a ‘meet and greet’ with a sitter who was booked to come and look after my pet. I didn’t hear from her on the day she was supposed to come nor was a pet care journal entry completed. I text to see if she had any issues and received no response. On the following day she contacted me directly to ask if her boyfriend could use my parking space when ‘they’ came over to walk my dog. I asked her again how was he previous visit as I hadn’t heard anything. She proceeds to tell me she never came because she had to go away and gave me the name of the girl who came in her place. I was not informed by anybody at the company that a stranger I had never met had been given the key code and access to my property. They had gone in and taken my dog out without me knowing and ever having met him. They had no instructions as to what he needs, where his lead etc. And food were. It was absolutely horrendous to think of a stranger entering your home and taking your dog out without your permission, never mind how stressful this would be for the dog. The manager eventually ‘text’ me an apology and said he had not thought to inform me that the sitter I had paid for was not available and he had supplied access instructions to another person without my knowledge/consent. I would not trust this service again. Have had to change my door code as I have no idea how many people know my access details now.
Marx had his first hydrotherapy session here last week. Andrew the hydrotherapist is very good with the dogs and knows what he is doing. Marx isn't mad about water so I was surprised about how calm he was during his session.

My dog Charlie (Bichon x Maltese) is 12 years old and has never come out of a groom looking as cute as he did from The Canine Centre. We usually hold our breaths to see how odd he'll look after a groom, but honestly this time we've just been smothering him in attention and love that he's so adorable. Steph did such a great job with shaping his fur so he doesn't look like a skinny rat. Thank you so so much!
Our 4 year old bichon Pookie has had the best grooms ever here. We have tried all of the top groomers in the area and the canine Centre comes out on top by far. She also loves her 2 days a week in the doggie day care there and can’t contain herself as we drive in to drop her off. We recently got a new Maltese puppy Molly who also has a challenging coat. I was so stressed about the amount of matting when bringing her up for her first groom today. The groomer was so lovely and understanding about it and did an exceptional job without shaving her full coat. I cannot praise the canine Centre enough.
Nanook was very nervous for her groom, but everyone in the Canine Centre made sure she was well looked after and calm. Being a Cockapoo and knowing that she needs to be groomed regularly how the staff treated her reassured me she was in the best hands. She came back smelling beautifully and looking fantastic! Looking forward to her next appointment.
I wasn't there to drop off or pick up my dog but I came home to see what a great job the groomer had done!! Monty isn't the easiest of clients but Emma was well able to manage him and gave him a fantastic groom. Can't get over how good he looks - he's like a new dog!
All we have to say is Naomi and her gang are the best. Our Minni has been going to her for 11 years (since she was 2 I think. Now going on 13) for grooming they have always done a fab job. We tried another groomers once who did an awful job and since then it’s always back to Naomis place, they know how to groom according to the breed. Naomi, thank you for everything. I now work in a pet shop and I recommend you guys all the time.

Started taking my Lurcher pup here a few weeks ago. He loves it! Naomi and the staff are really helpful and attentive, they know all of the dogs personalities and requirements, and take excellent care of them. They also put loads of photos on their instagram which is a nice way to see what your dogs are are up to! They're also always available on the phone if you have any concerns. Complete peace of mind.

During the holidays, when it was very difficult to secure boarding for my cat, I had the good fortune to find Pup 'N' Pet Services in Blackrock. Samira-Lola Trimble was warm, kind, courteous as we made all the arrangements for 10 days of boarding. I was impressed by the professional approach to all documents to ensure a safe, agreeable arrangement. Throughout my time away, Pup 'N' Pet Services remained in contact to inform me of my cat's well-being, how she was thriving during the boarding experience. Truly, I appreciated those messages and videos. At the end of her stay, my cat was happy, healthy; she had clearly received very fine care. If you are seeking a warm, home environment for your pet while you are away, Pup 'N' Pet Services takes superb care of your beloved fur friend. I shall definitely call them again when I next need to travel.
Such a great service! We booked our puppy in with Pup n Pet for two days and an overnight in December. It was our puppy’s first night away from us and we weren’t sure how he would react. We needn’t have worried! From the moment he was collected, Samira and Cormac put him at ease. We got updates and pics over the course of his stay and he was as happy and calm arriving home as he had been heading off. Pup n Pet were so easy to deal and reliable with collection/drop off times. Meow Care is just fabulous! From the first point of contact with Alice to the actual minding of my 2 Devon Rex cats they were fantastic. Andrea came every day and knew exactly how to handle our reserved cats…the photos and videos were fantastic and I got to see how my 2 girls went from not wanting to engage on day one to getting better and better with Andrea each day (it didn’t take long, day 2 they were coming up and being more open to knowing her which is a testament to her knowledge of cats and I could tell they missed her when I came home). I couldn’t be happier with the service and with the absolutely fantastic care Meow Care and Andrea gave.
I would like to share the experience that my partner and me had with Maow Care and strongly not recommend using this service if you really want a trustworthy person or service to take care if your cat. We went on vacation and hired the service and got assigned our cat sitter, everything looked normal at the beginning. Right after we landed the plane, we had the first message from our sitter saying that we had an alarm beeping on our house. We were concerned as the sitter told us that we could have neighbors upset by the noise, so we asked her about it and got any response. I am from Spain and my partner parents live on Cork and other trusted contacts we have didn’t have the keys of the apartment. We left emergency contacts for our sitter that she didn’t use, we tried to arrange some or our contacts on the city to check the alarm noise with the cat sitter and she didn’t response as well. We got any notice until next day after more of 24 hours, when she said she was going late to visit our cat, which was after 9PM, which is also a weird time to visit a cat. We tried to call the sitter to have more information about the alarm noise and to try to help her to find the issue and fix it, but she didn’t response the call or gave us any information. As a consequence, we had to book a flight back as we were very worried about our cat and the neighbors. Next day, my partner messaged the sitter to ask her to let the keys on the table because we were comming back at evening. She responded that basically, our cat didn’t look affected by the noise and seemed to be OK. After we came back to our apartment, we found out that was a lie. Our cat vomited and defecated out of her litter, thing that she never has done before, she looked thiner, extremely tired and a bit sick, we assumed it was consequence of the noise. We discovered that the alarm had an issue that was causing a constant high frequency beep every 10 seconds. We had to cancel our holidays, lost a lot of money and on top of that, we were told our cat was Ok when she clearly was not, for a problem that could have been fixed very easily in 10 seconds, the time it took us to de-attach the alarm and move the back switch to “off” I encourage that if other people has had similar problems with Maow Care, please speak out and also give diffusion of our case. Alice is very knowledgeable and very dedicated to cats. She can also help with any cat behaviour questions. Her cat sitting service in Dublin has been there for a long time and only gets busier.

And with two cats, the price is lower than what a cattery would charge.

I have used Jonathan's dog minding services several times. We were very nervous to leave our puppy (who was 6 months old the first time) with a dog minder but Jonathan was great. We did a meet and greet a few weeks beforehand and it was obvious Jonathan genuinely loves dogs and our puppy was going to be in safe and experienced hands. Jonathan is really responsive and always kept us updated with photos and videos. I have referred Jonathan to my friends and family several times. He's brilliant.
Can't recommend Jonathan and Puppers Paradise enough. Going to doggie daycare with him has really helped our rescue gain confidence and get comfortable around other dogs. Jonathan is patient, reliable and flexible and an excellent communicator even sending through lovely videos of our dog playing with his new friends. From the very 1st time that Pablo (mini dachshund puppy) went to Jonathan’s home for Daycare, he was completely at ease. It was very clear from conversation with Jonathan that he has an abundance of knowledge & a genuine passion for dogs. He has sent me videos at intervals throughout the day of Pablo at play with the other dogs & it was very obvious that Pablo was having a really great time! Pablo has been in Jonathan’s care quite a number of times to date & he is always very relaxed & happy when I collect him.
Bruno had his first night away from us at Puppers Paradise with Jonathan. A home from home environment. We received photos and video updates of the fun Bruno was having with all the dogs which was very reassuring to us. We were truly able to relax knowing he was in Jonathan's care.

Grainne has been walking my two Maltese dogs three days a week for over two years. She is caring, careful and takes great interest in each of her dogs' personalities, likes and dislikes etc. Poppy and Ruffles get very excited when they hear her car and can't wait to join their pals. Grainne also takes care of them when I am away: moving into the house and minding them day and night. It is so nice to know that they can stay in their own environment and not have to stress about changed circumstances. I am very grateful to Grainne - long may she continue!
Grainne has been walking our cocker spaniel Ralph for over 5 years now and we couldn’t be happier with the service. Ralph is an energetic dog who gets to enjoy long and varied walks - we are so jealous of the pictures Grainne sends of his adventures every day! This service was such a godsend when we were in the office 5 days a week, but now we keep it up even while working some days from home because of how good it is for Ralph. Grainne always goes the extra mile including birthday presents for Ralph and an additional dogminding service. You can rest assured your dog will be taken care of.
