Ivy did a terrific job (again!) taking care of our feline friends. She left the house spotless, including doing the sheets and towels before our return. She communicated well both before and during the sit, including pictures of our goofball kitties. She even bought them treats (with permission) for Christmas! Everything was in excellent order when we returned and we would be delighted to have Ivy sit for us again!

Catherine took great care of Pinto Bean and Baloo! Communication was super easy ahead of the trip, and during the trip. She sent daily updates with photos and let me know once she was packed up and out of the house. She left the house in tip top condition, just as clean as when she arrived!

Jacque took such wonderful care of our home, our dog Barry White and even my plant friends. She is so great with animals and Barry White seemed to bond with her immediately. Barry looked so healthy and well cared for when we got home, which is not always easy for him since change stresses him out! Jacque even helped him with senior dog issues like massaging his shoulders and hips before walks. Barry definitely bonded with a new person and was so sad in days after she left. We would love to host Jacque again!

I don't know where to begin in singing praises for Pamela and her family. This was my first experience with a house sitter and I must admit I was reluctant to do it. After having my dog, Alec for 3 months I knew it was the right thing to do for him before I left on a month long work trip to the U.K. I was also reluctant when talking to Pamela on FaceTime and I realized she would be coming with her husband and son. I wasn't prepared to have 3 people in my little house. The moment Pamela and Cleveland showed up at my house prior to my leaving I knew I could relax. Their love for animals was so apparent and I knew Alec would be in good hands. As the days went on while away I was grateful to them for coming and caring for Alec the way they did. Pamela communicated with me frequently and sent lots of photos and videos of him. I was missing him so much and getting these gems would totally make my day. Alec looked so happy and relaxed. One video was of Pamela giving Alec a bath. He was so relaxed - I was amazed. When I gave him a bath he would yelp, cry and shake all over. This woman is a dog whisperer. Pamela helped Alec with his car anxiety by purchasing a dog booster seat and sent me a photo and video of him looking at ease in the car. Since I've been home he is doing beautifully in the car. Pamela also tried many things to help Alec with severe separation anxiety when he was left alone. Her care and love was so palpable. And the photos of Cleveland and Alec at Home Depot were priceless. Little did I know how much Alec would benefit from 3 loving people caring for him. We are so fortunate to have had them here.

When I arrived home Pamela and Alec were here waiting for me. Pamela and I had some time together and I can unequivocally say how blessed I feel having not only met this beautiful being but also having her and her family caring for my home and Alec. I've been home a few days now and I could tell Alec misses his carers. He waited by the gate to my house for quite a long time after Pamela left. I could go on and on and on.....My only sorrow is that Pamela won't be available when I need to be away in November.
