Mateo took the most amazing care of our home and our dog Shorty. If you're lucky enough to have the opportunity to meet him and benefit from his friendship and kindness, seize the day! Shorty is an older dog who requires much patience and attention. Mateo took time to get to know him, threw himself into the task. and even dealt with a health crisis when it arose with common sense and quick thinking. His communication with us while we were away was excellent and the house was in very good order when we returned. It is an absolute privilege to have had him in our home.
As a first THS experience as sitters we're really happy about everything from Susannah's place: hospitality, location and the lovely Maisie, Winnie and Isla. We've had our two dogs with us and everything went really smoothly and they've all behaved so well! We've really enjoyed our 10 days :)
Fun sit! With all the cats, you're more of a traffic controller or a doorman. the fogs, Mateo, Chiquita and Max are great. Then the walks are smazing. often you'll turn around and for or five cats have joined you. Looking forward to my upcoming sits there.
It’s easy to fall in love with Sputnik! He’s the perfect mix of handsome, debonair tuxedo cattitude and sweet, affectionate purr machine. Both playful and cuddly, he will charm you instantly and always greet you enthusiastically. After about 24 hours (and a few feedings), he decided I was trustworthy and was happy to snuggle up on my belly. Owner Ben is super communicative and approachable. His apartment is cozy, comfortable and nicely decorated with colorful artwork. Of course, the location can’t be beat…there are tons of cafes, bars, boutiques, parks, theaters, transit lines, iconic places (like Katz’s Deli), and so much more all within easy walking distance. The building also has an elevator (which is really nice especially since it’s not always a feature in buildings in this neighborhood). All in all, I would highly recommend this fantastic sit!
I had a wonderful time looking after lovely Rey. She’s such a nice girl, well behaved, super chill and very easy to look after. Emma and Kieran were very welcoming and provided very clear instructions. Their house is on a great location with plenty of access to green spaces, pubs, coffee shops, etc. I’d definitely come back if our dates align on a future sit.
This was such an incredible sit!! We fell in love with Jane and Bob’s sweet poodles Romie & Mac and their sweet kitties Kitka & Kenai instantly. Jane and Bob were the best hosts and welcomed us into their beautiful home with open arms (Jane’s smoothies are to die for!!) Their communication on the care of their precious pets and home was wonderful and even though they were out of the country they answered any questions we had during our stay quickly and thoroughly. The views from their home were nothing short of the most beautiful we have ever seen, the sun rising over Mt. Rainer was breathtaking. We were in constant awe and never tired of just sitting there, with the dogs as our company, taking it all in. We almost don’t want to share how awesome this sit was because we want to keep Jane, Bob and their pets all to ourselves, :)!! We feel so blessed that we have been invited to sit for them next month and September, of course we accepted, we can’t wait to go back!! If you are ever chosen to sit for Bob and Jane you should consider yourself very lucky. We give them our highest rating and can’t recommend them enough!!
I enjoyed Sally and I's walks around the neighborhood and campus, she is a fun girl with some spunk. Laura gave detailed instructions and was great at keeping in touch. The home was comfortable and in a nice location.
