Enid and Bob are two wonderful souls that will make sure you feel at home and kept well fed throughout your sit! Their home is in a beautiful neighborhood and has a spacious enclosed patio filled with wonderful and comfortable chairs, couch, and bbq pit. The two feline fur queens are very polite - even though Tempe is quite shy, when dinner time comes around, she'll be sure and tell you "thank you"! The metro station is only a short 7 minute uber ride/drive which can take you into DC in about 30 minutes. Highly recommend this family and their home!!
What a wonderful sit! Roberta’s home is in a great location and she has done a wonderful job creating a lovely Tico home for her and Bella, Bruno, Jasper and Bojo! It’s right next to a very active creek which provides the background for her home. Bella and Bruno are very well behaved love muffins who love hanging out and going on walks. Bruno just wants to receive love and Bella loves chasing round objects. Jasper is a stealth cat who comes and goes almost without being noticed. And Bojo is a character who probably thinks he’s a dog and also loves attention. Quebradas, the neighborhood where Casa Moraga is located is very neat place. The locals are super friendly, active — walking, hiking, biking, is very conveniently located on 2 local bus routes that go into town (15 minute ride, 275 colones). I made some great friends in the 2 weeks I was there. There are several local sodas, one bar & restaurant, as well as several local Mini markets all within walking distance. I walked the local streets daily — one street that goes up the mountain to the Las Quebradas Biological Center as well as to some petroglyphs. Wonderful sit — highly recommend!
Bambi and Betty were a pleasure to look after! Bambi is so sweet and was immediately very welcoming and happy. Betty, being a rescue, was a little more reserved but slowly warmed up to us over the 10 days and would come hang out with us on the sofa and enjoy a pat. They loved playing together and running around the house! Michelle and Nigel were very welcoming, great communicators and their home was very spacious, clean and comfortable! A great area of Brisbane as well, walking distance to cafes, shops etc.
Truly one of the best experiences I've had with TH. Linda and Eric were amazing, warm, and friendly. The house is perfect and has a great location on a cute island off Seattle. Caring for Max and Nebbie was the cherry on top of a perfect sit. I loved learning their personalities and needs. I feel like I left Bainbridge with a new family! I highly recommend Linda, Eric, Max and Nebs. If Nebbie really likes you, he brings you small tokens of his affection! Thank you Linda and Eric for opening your home to me!
It is a great sit that I enjoyed a lot! Poppy is a shy cat in the beginning but once she get familiar with you, she will be very relaxed and blissed out when you stroke and chat with her! Nathalie is great in person and have an excellent taste, the house is very comfortable, clean and tidy and I highly recommend this sit! As Nathalie's membership has just expired, she explained she cannot left me any review but she has booked me in for her coming trip in coming April and I look forward to meet Poppy again!
Bucky, Taiko, Ray-Ray and Newton are the cutest “gang” there is! Even though the house sit was shortened due to a cancelled flight of our wonderful hosts Viv and Will, we enjoyed getting to know them and receiving all their kisses. Taiko was anxious after her pawrents left, but she settled in and joined us later on the couch, laying comfortably right next to us as we watched a movie. All four of them were really sweet and easy. Viv and Will set us up for success with a clear welcome guide and well organized cozy home. Because of the weather, they invited us to arrive a day early which was very thoughtful. They were so welcoming and made us feel at home. Both are very responsive and the communication was great from start to finish.
