I had an exceptional experience on this cat sit in July 2024. Bonnie and Clyde are absolutely adorable, 7 month old Maine Coon kittens. I totally fell in love with them! They are playful, inquisitive, affectionate, amusing, intelligent - it was like nonstop entertainment watching their antics as they scampered around the house and garden. Frances and Ian are very considerate and generous hosts. Frances kindly picked me up at the train station and she prepared a lovely meal the evening that I arrived. She also provided plenty of information about things to see in the area as well as public transport options to/from Ledbury and Hereford.
My first communications with Fran were open and friendly and made me instantly comfortable. Her vacation plans were not confirmed when we first connected and she was very thoughtful of my schedule when making her bookings. I was welcomed into their home as a friend. Jack is a friendly fellow who warmed up to me instantly and Gracie is more cautious but made daily appearances and ate well so I knew she was ok. It was a pleasure to spend time in Fran and Bayot's home.
Vanora was lovely and flexible, Lorax and Shishka are absolute sweethearts and very well behaved. I'm very happy to be able to come back and do a sit again!
Ellen and Gilly were really nice and the communication with them was great! Jimmy is a wonderful cat - sweet, calm and fluffy! the whole subcutaneous fluid process was very easy and Jimmy really cooperates with it like a hero:) the home is beautiful, very well designed and pleasant. I really had a great time and would LOVE doing it again and spend quality time with Jimmy<3
We really enjoyed sitting for Lanita and family for a couple of weeks at their house in Mountlake Terrace. They have a lovingly updated home with a very comfortable kitchen, ample space, and a nice big yard for everyone to stretch their legs. Good suburban location with friendly neighbors, easy access to the hustle and bustle if you're driving, but far enough out to be nice and quiet (not the best public transit options to get into the city, but it is possible if you're not in a hurry). Jooni is so cute it hurts, and Lucy is a total sweetheart as well once she warms up to you. The goats are a riot, always ready for a good time, and they enjoy constant conversation, as goats are wont to do. Chippy, the guinea pig, is definitely a guinea pig. We spent a few hours just chatting with Lanita and her husband and had a great time with them; they're really wonderful people and a loving family. Overall this was a fantastic sit, and we would highly recommend any sitters who love being surrounded by animals to sit for them!
