And Walter were well mannered and friendly to people and other dogs on walks. O’Malley cat kept his sharp green eyes on me at first, but warmed up after a few days, as cats do. Excellent experience!
I already miss Tot and Izzy! The house is in Thalwil and is well surrounded by a small city center that has all your amenities just a short and a beautiful walk away. You will also be living next to Lake Zurich, where there are benches and slopes you can sit on. The area is quiet and away from noise or light pollution. The sit itself was super easy and nice. Izzy and Tot are two very well-behaved cuties who deserve all the attention and love. Izzy is super easy to care for and responds well to simple commands. Tot is like a small baby and loves snuggling and is the most perfect furry companion. They are both darlings. Sally and Adam are very nice people and super understanding. The instructions were super clear and they were only a text away. They made the sit more memorable and easy and I cannot wait to go back when I get the chance to!
This was such a nice sit - I had a lovely, peaceful time with Frankie and Charlie. Charlie is a very affectionate dog, likes to watch TV and chill on the sofa and was extra happy when I wanted to do that too! Frankie was a bit more aloof and I didn't see much of her, only at feeding time really. The flat is beautiful and really very central, nice canals, cafes and bars nearby and nice little walking spots for Charlie (he's no trouble at all when out walking). Mishka and Ciarán were fantastic hosts/owners, making sure everything was super clear in advance. They're extremely accommodating and friendly, great company too - we met for a beer a few weeks before the sit and they helped me with some advice about settling into the Netherlands. If I'm free and local I'd do this sit again and again - highly recommended!
I had a lovely stay with Callie and Finn. Tane and Marloes were both sweet and provided great details on how to care for their two cats. They were also available if Ii had any questions and provided recommendations on places to visit. Their home was comfortable and clean. The cats took time to get used to me but eventually they did and they were rather playful. Arnhem was a cute city about an hour from Amsterdam, with plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops. I highly recommend spending sometime at Sonsbeek park. It was stunning. Overall the stay was lovely and I highly recommend Tane and Marloes as well as their two cats Callie and Finn.
We had a lovely week looking after Billie who is the sweetest cat. Abby and Nick have a gorgeous, clean home and we met them beforehand so they could show us around. We were provided with everything we needed and communication was great. Billie is very affectionate yet independent. We loved having cuddles with her on the sofa and would love to come back to house sit again!
Daisy May, Charlie and Tabitha were such a pleasure to look after, they absolutely stole our hearts! Daisy May and Charlie both have such beautiful natures. They get along splendidly and are both active dogs which meant we were lucky enough to explore the local area far and wide together. They both have very good recall so we felt confident letting them off the lead in safe areas. Equally, they were quite happy relaxing at home, cuddling up on the couch and loved belly rubs. Tabitha is an absolute sweetheart who is very independent but would enjoy cuddles in the mornings and you could always count on her being around at meal times. We miss our furry friends so much already! Kim was easy to communicate with and kindly handed over everything we needed to know before she headed off. We enjoyed our stay with Daisy May, Charlie and Tabitha immensely and would highly recommend this sit!
