We had the most beautiful time with Jenga at Ali’s home. It was such a smooth stay, and Ali provided really clear information in advance about the house and recommendations for the area. The location was close to everything we needed — shops, coffee spots, and beaches a short drive away. It was such a delight to spend a week in stillness, in a beautiful part of Victoria.
Karen and Jason and their beautiful girls were an absolute delight to housesit for. From the beginning we were warmly welcomed into their home and immediately they felt like family. For three weeks we housesat their stunning, spacious and incredibly charming house in the Cotwolds as well as getting to look after their two pups Lily and Ivy and chicken. This was a dream housesit and it was honestly difficult to leave. There is so much in the area to explore but honestly it was hard to leave the house. Our girls enjoyed picking apples, rhubarb and blackberries from the kitchen and making pies, playing with the dogs and wondering through the house. This housesit will be a core memory for our family. It was brilliant. We are so thankful to Karen and Jason for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to spent time in their home.
This was our first sit in Canada and boy did we enjoy it. Lacey and Bella are both senior dogs so not much walking but lots of fun. They both responded well having strangers looking after them and we enjoyed the interaction especially their new play rug. Watching them hunting for treats was hilarious. Short walks around the building was all that was needed for their comfort breaks. Lori was very communicative and organised. Everything was spotless in the flat and it was very well equipped. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony of an evening. We knew the area around Bridgewater so we spent our time revisiting old haunts and discovering new hiking trails. There is a good cafe round the corner from the flat and the supermarket is just a short walk (or drive) away. I would recommend a car as there is so much to see in this area. Fabulous sit and can’t recommend it enough.
We had a wonderful time sitting for Gretchen & would happily come back to care for Cleo again! Her home feels much like an oasis with sweeping views of the countryside & a beautiful patio area to relax in! We really enjoyed the nearby hiking! Cleo was an absolute sweetheart! She warms up to you quickly & will just want to be near you for your stay. We thought she was the greatest little companion. She does require someone who is patient on walks for the safety of her back legs. So, if you enjoy nice & easy strolls… Cleo is your girl! Thank you again, Gretchen! We really felt so at home & look forward to meeting you in the future!
Wow! What an amazing sit! I loved hanging out with Stella and Artie, who are the sweetest little lovelies you could ever hope to meet. Emma and Ainan were lovely and welcoming, and always available to answer any daft questions I had. Their apartment is such a cute place to hang out in the city and bed sooo comfortable.. Of course, being in the thick of Chinatown was amazing, and Stella and I were able to walk all over lower Manhattan together on our walks. I would definitely return and definitely recommend to others!
We had such a wonderful time house sitting for Amir and pet sitting Nikotu. Amir was so easy going and quick to respond to all our questions. Nikotu was such a good pup to take care of and if you are a hugger so is he! Laguna Beach was so nice to explore with Nikotu, and Amir had some amazing recommendations for eating out there. We enjoyed shopping and dining at Irvine Spectrum as well. We felt very safe in Amir's home and neighborhood.
