This was definitely a 5-star sit! Graham & Jo live in an absolutely stunning location, a hill-walkers paradise! Lola was well-behaved and had the energy for long walks--so we did! But once at home she settled down nicely which is the best combination. Once Buzz & Leo got acquainted with us they gave cuddles aplenty. Graham & Jo warmly welcomed us the night before which gave a nice amount of time for a thorough handover. We had a medical situation arise with Leo and Graham communicated well (with us & the vet) so we felt helped and supported in dealing with it. We highly recommend this sit!
Louise, Kamilla and their cats are really nice to visit. All things were perfectly organised, the house is warm and cosy. The cats are well behaved and calm, little Zanzi would like to eat all the time, but she understands no. Badawi loves to cuddle. Oscar the outdoor cat is friendly. We had a great time and gladly recommend others to sit for Louise and Kamilla.
House-sitting for Missy and Kima was an absolute delight! They are hilarious with their unique personalities. Kima, the reserved one, would pop in for her occasional rubs and cuddles, while Missy was the ultimate companion, always by your side whether you were watching TV or getting dressed. Zahra and Des were hands down the best pet parents. They're not just kind, but they're also super easy to communicate with and down-to-earth, which made our time even more enjoyable. ❤️
Brilliant sit over in Lavaur, and my first time ever in France - letting the dogs lead the way. Easy communication with Rory before the sit - he's a relaxed character. Meeting him and Maeva, both welcoming, easy-going. They took me out to the park with the Bobby and Moschi, bit of orientation and explained away their quirks. Then again, another tour of the main street and a run down of recommends. Great wee well-located apartment, especially given I was there so often hiding from the 40 degree heatwave outdoors, and in excellent company with the two hairy beasts. Moschi and Bobby are brilliant characters, enjoyed my big chill with the pair of them. Both on a different level on affection-seeking - Bobby's the main human grabber and Moschi's in on her own terms. Lovely walks from theirs round the town - standout, charming location. Loved it and would encourage anyone to make a beeline for this one. xx
Our sit for Maxine went very smoothly, not surprising as Maxine was very well organised and on meeting her liked her instantly. Bertie and Bella are a chilled, well behaved pair of Coton de Tulear's. They lived up to their breed as fun, furry and full of personality, they are both affectionate and are quickly up on your lap for a pat basically whenever you sit down. We played a lot of tug-a-war games, especially with Bertie who was always up for a play and little Bella would do her 'zoomies' thru the house most evenings after dinner. Both fur-babies are good eaters but did not require walks, so we had regular 'keep-away' and fetch in the backyard on a daily basis and used Kong's for their treat rewards to keep them occupied. The small town of Wymondham, is easy walking distance from Maxine's home, had everything we needed included a trendy bakery. There is a lot of history in and around Wymondham and we enjoyed our visits to the old abbey, Market Cross and the Arts Centre. Maxine's home is comfortable and beautifully decorated, with good access to main roads, shopping, lidl and Waitross a few minutes walk.
I loved housesitting for Echo! Bandit and Whiskey are both super sweet. I enjoyed walking Bandit — he is super well-trained and responds well to commands. Whiskey is super soft and even sat on my lap for a little bit :) Echo is a communication rockstar! She was great to talk with before and during the sit to make sure everyone’s needs and expectations were met. This home is in a nice area, and is about 20-30 minutes by car to downtown Nashville, depending on where you’re going. It was convenient for me!
