Rosann
What cuties Rosann has - Bonnie, Fortuna, Bandida doggies and four lovely kitties (I'm convinced one thinks she's a dog)! A nice, quiet, convenient location, and easy to care for - only a few instructions needed. A small but tranquil pool to dip into and terrace to read, do yoga, just hang with the animals. :-0)

Eric & Jody
Eric and Jody are exceedingly kind and generous hosts. We had the pleasure of spending time with them during the sit and they went above and beyond in showing us the surrounding areas and cooking us some delicious meals.

Dixie is a sweetheart! She has such a calm and gentle personality and is very easy to love and take care of. She loves belly rubs and having her hair brushed and walks are definitely the highlight of her day! Luckily Eric and Jody's beautiful home is surrounded by charming forests, chateaus and villages and there are lots of beautiful areas to explore with her.

We really enjoyed spending our days with Dixie and miss her already. If you have the chance to sit for Eric and Jody, and take care of darling Dixie, please do! We hope to keep in touch and would love the chance to sit for them in the future as well.

Our recent house-sitting experience at this beautiful home overlooking Lake Geneva and the surrounding mountains was quite memorable. The hosts were genuinely open and generous, and we appreciated their kindness deeply.

The home itself is a peaceful and secluded haven, perfect for those looking to enjoy serenity and nature. Dining by the large window offered breathtaking views that were a daily highlight. Also, the hosts offered us to harvest cherries and raspberries from their private garden.

The dogs were cute but lacked of training which was showing at times, so they might bark each time they are let out unless given a toy to hold in their mouth. Also, they might bark very early in the morning over outside noises. Gracie, the 3 legged dog, has a push trolley she can jump in since she gets tired and lays down when she is done walking. From our experience a treat or carrying the trolley on your walks help.

Apart from these the dogs are lovely and very low maintenance.

Also, during our stay we had a family of 4 hedgehogs crawling around the garden that we ended up looking after. For someone not used to wildlife it felt dreamlike.

We wish the hosts all the best and thank them for their hospitality. It’s a beautiful property with great potential for a peaceful retreat.
