Ben and Katie were very welcoming and hospitable. They left us a range of goodies for our arrival, which we really appreciated. They were easily reachable whilst they were away and we had good communication throughout the sit. The house is in a good location, only a ten minute drive to some lovely beaches. There are also interesting dog walks straight from the house. We enjoyed exploring the pathways around the former mines with Gordy off-lead. There was a desk to work from in one of the bedrooms and a large dining table, which allowed us to both work from home. Gordy is a great character. He just wants to be stroked and loved. If he’s with you (or on you) he couldn’t be happier. He’s good on and off lead, and he loves to play fetch with his ball. We really enjoyed our time with him. The guinea pigs were easy to look after and cute to have around, watching them roam around and feeding them new veggies was fun for us. There was some damp in the house, so we wouldn’t recommend this sit for someone who has chest or breathing issues etc.
Sian is a lovely person with great animals. She is very helpful, nice and I could very good talk with her. She answered me every question I had. She has an amazing house and garden. The cat (Nudge) he is old but very easy-going. It was no problem to cuddle him. The dog (Emerald) was a little bit shy at the beginning but after a few biscuits and a few minutes it was als no problem to cuddle wit her.
