My cat loves Angel so much that he sits at the door meowin’ and yowlin’ when she leaves at the end of a sit. I think he’d rather trade me for her at this point :)
We have really enjoyed our sit at Susan and Jacques house looking after Rowan and would recommend it to anyone. Rowan is such a beautiful little dog. So easy to look after, gorgeously happy and friendly - everyone thinks he is a puppy! He is very placid, easy to walk and has a bit of a sensitive side. He loves to sit next to you, leaning against you on the sofa, and you form a bond with him instantly. He is very adaptable too and can walk for miles or have a lazy day. He loved going out in our camper van with us. Rye is an interesting town to visit, with lots of history, beautiful buildings, independent shops and cafes and many footpaths to explore. We visited lots in the surrounding area, including Dungeness, Tenterden, Camber Sands, Hastings Country Park and, of course, Rye Harbour Nature Reserve where Rowan loves to wander about. Make sure you put him on the leash near the cafe as he likes to go in and see what's on the menu! Susan and Jacques were very kind and thoughtful hosts, well prepared for our arrival which made for an easy handover. The house is relatively new but feels very homely and comfortable. It is on a fairly open development with a bird filled hedge at the back, so not overlooked, and it has a nice feel to it. We were very cosy there and loved being able to walk into Rye so easily. Thank you Susan and Jacques for having us to stay!
Enjoyed this sit! Roxy, Zena and Chatty catty get along great!Recommend the king bed as all 3 will choose to sleep with you! House was clean and welcoming. Felt very safe as a solo sitter and the location is great. Communication with Moira prior sit was great, too! She is a busy business owner and does not appear to “ sweat the small stuff”! Went on the best dolphin cruise I have ever been on, rode my bicycle thru the side streets of Tybee on a very well marked route and visited Fort Pulaski ( a must see in my opinion) . Had a tear in my eye as I left this friendly trio. Would sit again if I were in the area. Thank you Moira!
