We confirmed the sit more than 7 months ago and remained in regular contact until we arrived. Anne suppiled a Welcome Guide in good time and more typed details when we arrived the day before the couple left on their trip. Anne and Mike kindly collected, (and returned) us to the railway station and Mike took Wendy shopping and David on a local walk to get familiar with Horace and Hector routines. They greet some dogs with chortly barks and ignore or wag their tails at others and they are best kept on their extendable leads. We found both of them adorable, they enjoyed exploring the great Exmouth environment on walks even on the days when the weather was unpleasant and our company at home. The town center has plenty of coffee shops and restaurants while the beachfront area is more touristy but we loved the sandy beach and the outlook along the coastline. Would be nice to return during a spell of sunny and windless weather. Thank you Anne, Mike, Horace and Hector!
This was amazing first trip to Asia for me! Alex and Jenny where very hospitable with their home. They were so good about always checking in on me making sure I had everything I needed and I was good. I even forgot to bring cash before hand and they let me exchange currency with them that made my trip much easier. Their neighbor is a very nice area too I thoroughly enjoyed it. Their dogs Rosco and Leeroy are both such loving boys. Extremely well behaved too. I was so impressed at how they would not walk into the home until you wiped their paws down. Leeroy is a little shy at first and takes a day or so to warm up to you, but once he trusts you he has the biggest sweet heart. I will say he was hard to walk with being very scared of the city. You need to be very patient with him and keep the leash tight. Rosco is great brother always leading by example and two pair well together! Thank you Alex and Jenny again for the opportunity

Alistair and Gregory are really sweet cats. They were fun to spend time with, love to play and also enjoy long sleeps. When I first arrived, Alistair was hiding but he soon warmed to me and enjoyed a fuss. The apartment is comfortable and communication with Anton was great.

After adopting a timid rescue we wanted to find a daycare that would provide the socializing she needed (with other dogs and people). We weren't sure that it would work, but Jordan and Becca were very understanding. Within days our dog was showing a boost of confidence, and within weeks she was super excited to go to daycare. My dog runs to the door whenever I drop him off in the morning and he is good and wore out whenever I pick him up. He looks forward to daycare days. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about dog behavior and body language. I feel totally safe leaving my doggy there while I’m at work. Also, it’s the most affordable daycare I’ve come across.
We now take 2 dogs to this well run day care center that's staffed by some great animal lovers. It all started with a wild and panicky puppy that we rescued-no amount of walks or endless play time could calm her. She paced, chewed walls, ate furniture. We started visiting and they helped us work with her issues and after a year, she's doing better and we have a playmate for her. The dogs are excited to be dropped off and at the end of the day they sleep almost the way home. It's a great place for your fur kids to play.
Great daycare, wish they were open more often! Becca and Jordan were great at accommodating and encouraging our timid, separation anxiety ridden dog when he first started a year ago, now he LOVES daycare, plays hard and always comes home exhausted!

Love this place. Super friendly and reasonably priced! Take my two furry boys every Wednesday. They even offer bathing and nail clipping services, both of which I hate doing. :) More importantly, after an entire day of playing with their puppy pals, they are wore out the entire next day. Great dog daycare. Friendly staff, reasonable rates. Dogs of all sizes. Building is a little cramped. This is the only place that can ever tire out my full - of - energy boxer/greyhound mix. Recommended.

I cannot speak highly enough of Maria, I’m so grateful we’ve been able to work with her! We were recently referred to Maria through our veterinarian when we had taken in a puppy that was in less than ideal living conditions. Due to her leaving her family too soon, she came with some severe behavioral issues. Maria is so incredibly knowledgeable, and from day one of working with her we have seen our puppy unlock skills that we would never have been able to uncover ourselves. She gave us a behavior modification plan, which we’ve been working on at home, and we’ve seen great strides in our puppies behaviors. We also send our puppy to work with Maria twice a week at Maria’s doggie daycare facility and it’s been FANTASTIC for her confidence. She gets to learn the skills of being social with other dogs, while also learning directly from Maria. I feel like Maria has truly helped us save this dogs life. Having two small children ourselves, we were very concerned what the outcome of having this dog could mean if she went into adulthood without correcting these behaviors. Maria has given us peace of mind and the tools to keep our girl as part of the family. I can’t recommend her enough, and we will be forever grateful to her for helping us. Often times dogs are euthanized or passed around when behavioral issues aren’t dealt with early on, so we will be forever grateful for the early intervention we received from Maria and everyone at Frey’s Place!
Clementine, pictured here after a day at daycare(!), loves going to Bahati and Frey’s Place on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 🥰 She’s only been going for about a month, but has already had fantastic improvement in her confidence! She is excited to go now in the mornings and has even begun to play while there! She loves the enrichment activities and I can tell they are such great mental stimulation for her because of how tired and fulfilled she is when she gets home. Maria has been to my house to help with some training as well, and gave me all the tools and insight I need to move forward with my Clemmy. I can tell from my interactions with her and seeing her with Clementine that she truly cares about each and every dog individually and spends a lot of time considering what approaches and tools will help them to succeed. Clementine loves Maria and Mike!
This is more than a typical dog day care! Our pup has been coming for a year, and I have seen him grow more confident and less reactive. Marie and Mike do a fantastic job and really care about the dogs; they are scrupulous about keeping a clean and safe environment for everyone. Highly recommend!

I'm so glad we found Bahati and Frey's Place! Our puppy attends once a week and it's amazing to see how quickly she is overcoming her fear of other dogs. Before beginning care she exhibited a great deal of separation anxiety, and we've seen a huge improvement so far. Maria is very communicative and deeply knowledgeable. Every human and dog I've seen has been happy and excited to see her and Mike, and I feel very comfortable with my dog in their care. I'm looking forward to continuing our visits!
We had Maria over for a private training session last night for our new rescue pup. I can't tell you how impressed we were with her knowledge and ability to read our dogs. We also have a 12-year-old pit bull that we were not really concerned with, but she was able to give us simple instructions to help stop their barking. We were extremely frustrated and confused by some of the information we were told from other trainers. Maria told us easy simple corrections that worked! We are so looking forward to implementing them in the days ahead to gain the peace back in our house. Her calm and matter of fact approach is just what we needed.
THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! I work in Dayton but live out of town and needed to find a place for my black lab every day. We had been to multiple places via Rover where my dog had to be dragged into their homes or center. Now that I found Bahati and Frey Place my dog literally jumps out of the car every day! He runs to the door and jumps up and down. He does this every single day and we have been going their for 4 months now. Maria is so talented and the enrichment and care he receives there is top notch! Mike is so caring and my dog shows both of them love and vice versa. He goes home tired every night! I was so stressed and upset about finding a place I could send my dog that I was considering giving him up but when I found Bahati and Frey Place that all changed! I can’t say enough good things about Bahati and Frey Place. Amazing!!!
Really amazing doggie day care. They truly care about the animals and work hard to make sure that their experiences there are valuable. The behavior correction is their biggest asset, and we bring home a tired dog. We hired Maria as a personal behaviorist and what a difference 24 hours can make! The education was so much different and valuable to my dog and his needs than his regular puppy training class.
Our little "Buddy" is in love with Maria, Michael and Frey's Place! He is so excited whenever we arrive there that he can't get out of the car fast enough! He has so much fun with all his friends that he is exhausted when I pick him up. This is a great environment for all that attend. The staff is very caring and attentive! We highly recommend Freys Place for your fur babies!!

I am not from Dayton, but im glad I found this spot to have my dog is safe and taken care of while I am in town doing events i cant bring her to. They did a wonderful job grooming her as well! She is so beautiful.

Teddy and Loki had a fantastic stay at PetSuites in Dayton, Ohio! We were gone for a week and a half, and when we picked them up, they seemed happy and well-cared for. The staff is amazing – they’re clearly passionate about the animals in their care. Their communication throughout our dogs’ stay was excellent, which gave us great peace of mind. We highly recommend PetSuites!
They were so helpful and accommodating for us! We’ve boarded our older dog once before and everything went great that time, we even signed up for a bath before we got him and he came back looking extra handsome and with a cute bandana too! This was the first time for our younger one and she’s been having some severe health issues as of recently and on the day we were about to drop them off and head out, she had a flare up. We called to let them know what issues we were having and they let us do a little trail run before we fully left to make sure nothing else would happen, they even went the extra step to wave the fee for that first day too! We decided to sign up for the pawgress reports this time and it was definitely worth it. If your dog has any health issues or you just wanna see a pic or two of them while you’re gone, I definitely suggest signing up for them! They were able to text us pics of them here and there and we were able to text them whenever (during their work shift) to get updates on how they were behaving/eating/and playing so it was such a weight lifted off of our chests! Our pups also have issues playing with toys (they’re perfectly fine playing together without any) and sometimes eating together but they find a lot of comfort in being close to one another, so they were able to get two kennel spots across from one another for them! We were also able to bring in their beds and a couple of toys from home for them and they kept them all with the pups and went above and beyond to make sure they would be comfy for their stay! Traffic on the way back got to us as well so we were able to easily text them to let them know we wouldn’t be able to pick them up the night we were supposed to be back and they were completely okay with it and said we could get them the next day! If you’re considering going to this pet hotel, please know your sweet babies will be in amazing hands. They’re all so kind, thoughtful and helpful! We will definitely be going back for our next trip(s) in the future!! *The pics I’m adding in are from the ones that they sent us from the pawgress reports*
I have been using pet suites from 7 years! Always had good experience in terms of boarding. But Back to back in the last two week I had very bad experience. My second boy was sent for evaluation last week and I was told that first time evaluation is free and once evaluated I will receive an report and then if he passes I could keep him for day play in groups. I also asked them if I keep him for 5 hours day play and want to pick him 2 hours later will I get charged extra. The reply was no, we will take him out of the play and keep him in a room until you come back. Day 1 - he was picked up I received an email stating I was charged. I called up and they apologized and refunded it He was neither given a elevation report etc When I checked about the report they said it was texted to me. I told them I didn’t any text or email. They said usually it takes 24 hours. I waited for 24 hours I got nothing. 2 days later I went to drop him for a 5 hour day play and I again asked and received a copy. Day 2- I dropped him and as discussed earlier I went to pick him after 2 hours delayed. My bill was not 25 dollar but instead 37 dollar, I told them I was informed that there is no extra charge. They said may be someone gave you wrong information. Day 3- Today, I took my two boys for grooming. I told the groomer, I want to give full grooming session to one and i wanted to know how much it would be if I just had a facial trim and bath for my other dog. She said it will 47$ I replied don’t worry just give him a bath and how much it would be, she 30$ I replied fine. I went to pick them back, I was given a bill of 118! I asked the lady at front why so I have a bill of 118. I should be having only a bill of 60 plus 30 that 90$. She said looks like he had a facial trim for 11$ for your second dog. I said no I just said only bath. She took off 11$ and said total is 108. I asked her print the receipt. When I looked at the receipt it stated my second dog was still charged 47 dollar. I now asked the lady why is it 47, she replied if you have a boarding then do a bath it’s 30$. I said shouldn’t your staffs know what’s going on? She said I am sorry! I really would appreciate if employees know what they r telling customer and they are well trained to handled customer with accurate information ! Every penny is important for everyone, no one’s here free money nor do I. Very disappointed!
My family loves PetSuites! I have two cats who have very different personalities, one is very outgoing and the other quite shy, and the staff always do a fantastic job of adjusting the playtimes to what each cat prefers. And the photo updates are always so cute! (A definite must if you are ever anxious about leaving your pet!) Barley and Ridley will always give great reviews for PetSuites Dayton! :)
Our Gumby loved staying here! We were worried because he was a rescue dog and we didn't like leaving him in a kennel. But the runs are huge and we were able to bring toys he liked. He seemed to like it as he tried to run back inside when we were leaving!
My fur baby really enjoyed hisself and looking to go back really soon. Staff was very nice and welcoming.
The facility is very clean and doesn't smell of bleach which was really nice. The suites were kept very clean. The staff was accommodating and very friendly Let use tour the building before bringing our dogs for their stay. After the stay our dogs were tired and slept good when they were back home. Thank you for taking care of our fur family when we were away.

My dog absolutely looooves this place. However they sent him home with dried poop all over his neck and claimed it had just happened. When I asked if we could clean it off the girl who brought him up acted like we were not able to. I asked for a wet towel and was brought a dry one which was no help.i ended up taking him to a dog wash. The fact that we were told this had just happened and the poop was completely dry makes me concerned if he is being watched. I had been several other times and had no issues so I am not sure what was going on that day.
I just love the staff at the Doggie Retreat! The groomers are very skilled and patient and do fantastic work! I have had the pleasure of using both groomers and have been 100% satisfied every time. They do everything! The daycare staff keep the dogs happy, safe and entertained and enjoy what they do! This is a hidden gem in Kettering!
We love doggie retreat! They adore our girls and we have always had great experiences for daycare and boarding. Not to mention our dogs love it there and can’t wait to get in the building as soon as we get to the parking lot

I was driving past and got confused, not very hard, but when I went into the parking lot I wasn't sure of how to turn around so I went a little bit into the grass since there wasn't much room. An elderly woman very quickly came out. I thought she was going to help me, but no, she came out scolding me for being in the grass. I completely understand being upset with someone in your grass, especially just some random person, so I understand why, but when I was leaving, almost all of the staff was giving me the middle finger. I understand Mondays are Mondays, but still. I am sorry for being in the grass though.
Love this place! We get our dog groomed, he goes to daycare, and we have kenneled him here as well. The groomer is fantastic with our long haired German shepherd and does a great job, even our vet has complimented the work. He also thoroughly enjoys going to the daycare for half days. He was a little nervous at first, but after boarding him here for a long weekend while we went out of town, he loves this place and the people here. They take great care of him and are super awesome and accommodating. Will continue to use their services!
We’ve taken our little Lady there many years for grooming. Wonderful people working there and very professional groomers through the years. Vicky greets us with a warm smile and Jessica our groomer does a great job on our little Old Lady. They treat her so precious. We wouldn’t go anywhere but Doggy Retreat.
Kelly has always done a wonderful job of taking care of my cats. She is very professional and I know my cats are well taken care of everytime.
Kelly is the best! She’s very punctual and communication is top notch. It’s so nice to be able to go on vacation knowing my animals are safe and well taken care of in her hands. I was referred to Kelly by my veterinarian's office shortly after we moved to Dayton and had no one to care for our cats while we were out of town. Kelly is very professional, trustworthy, and most importantly our cats love her. Our normally shy cat (who runs from everyone) did not shy away from her, which is about the highest compliment you can get from a cat! We highly recommend Kelly!
Kelly is one of the most professional dog sitters I have ever had. My husband and I work and go to school full-time and we needed someone to give our 9 month old Giant Schnauzer a mid-day walk and potty break. I met Kelly while she was walking my neighbors two dogs. She is timely, respectful of our home, and trustworthy. She has extensive experience with dogs and manages to care for our large rambunctious puppy. On top of her being extremely professional, our dog absolutely loves her. The cherry on top, is that her prices are very good for the quality of care she offers. I highly recommend her!!
Kelly does a great job taking care of our cat, Chuck. She’s responsive and has always been available. Chuck seems happy and relaxed when we get home. Her rates are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Kelly to take care of your fuzzy loved one!

I used to take my dog to a place where they didn't have access to an outdoor space. Big Times has an outdoor space that each dog can access through a dog door at the rear of their kennel & is fenced off on both sides & the back so they are completely safe. They are very reasonably priced too. I highly recommend them.
Wonderful kennel with some very caring people. This was our first experience with them, and they cared for our two dachshunds. They were well taken care of and we will certainly be back!
We had to go out of country when we boarded our cat there. He had special needs which included medicine every morning and the diet that he would eat. They were able to manage that for us and take care of him. When we got him back he was as happy as ever and loving and was in great condition. I would definitely use them again.
All of my dogs have gotten training here. They are well behaved. It 8s obvious the owners love and understand dogs. My dog went on a class field trip to practice all of her newly learned skills. She and the other dogs passed with flying colors.
Our Standard Poodle puppy just graduated from Manners 101 and we can’t say enough good things about the class. The teachers (Gina and John) were knowledgeable and patient and there was great one-on-one interaction. We followed John’s advice of one 15 minute homework session a day, and it really worked! We left with a solid foundation of the basics. Look forward to returning for more classes. 🐾🐾
Big Times Kennel was Dewey's home for 5 weeks while I recuperated from shoulder surgery. A big shout-out to John, Maureen, and Tina for their care, concern, and outstanding attention to my 11 year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. Dewey and I thank you very much, especially bath time before he came home. I have used Big Times for many years and I highly recommend them!
We have had our 7mo old lab mix here to train with John. He’s amazing and fun and loves the dogs he works with immensely. We later brought her in to board at the kennel and when we came to pick her up she was as excited to see John as she was to see us. Maureen is kind and gentle and I really feel like our pup is loved when she is there.

I always feel at ease leaving my dog in the care of the great personnel at Big Times Kennel. We just picked him up from a 12 day stay and he was healthy, happy and well taken care of. I was able to enjoy our vacation without a second thought! I highly recommend this Kennel for your pet's home away from home.
We boarded our two dogs (a mini schnauzer and golden retriever, Mipha and Medli) recently and we love this place! I am an anxious mess leaving our dogs with anyone, but the owners helped ease that anxiety by being very communicative and kind. First time boarder, and am so impressed! We have a 5 year old Great Pyrenees who requires a very large kennel, and not many places can take him. Our regular place was booked, so I had to find an alternate. Wow, What A FIND! They were very nice, allowing me take a tour of the place before I booked. It was very clean & they have nice fenced areas outside for the dogs to go out individually to run off some steam. They include 4 walks/day with their price, which is a great deal. The ultimate reason for my 5 Star review is when I picked up my sweet dog, he was CLEAN (even though he had not been bathed by them) and appeared very well cared for. The lady gave me a report on his behavior & eating habits. As we were leaving, she said goodbye to my dog & instead of making a beeline for the door & dragging me out so he could go home, he turned around & wagged his tail at her, then went to her for kisses. That said everything. He felt safe & well cared for by the people there. I am SO GLAD to have found this kennel, and I will definitely be using them from now on.
I moved to Ohio in August of 2024 and needed a kennel to call “home” for my two dogs when we travel. I gave Howliday Inn a shot and haven’t looked back since! In fact, I didn't even want to write this review because I always want them to have a spot for us 😂🫶 They offer add ons (play time, peanut butter kings, pup cups and a night time tuck in with warm blankets) and they also do nails and grooming! Carrie and Ruth are always responsive and easy to work with, and more so they do so well with my big, anxious goofy dog Tucker who doesn’t really like anyone that doesn’t live with us 😂 (But my other boy, max loves everyone and gets so excited to see Carrie) photo of my goodest boys for tax. Thanks for all you guys do!

This place is great. They’ve been watching my dogs (Sally & Bailey) for a few years now every time we go out of town, I couldn’t ask for better caretakers.
Howliday Inn is incredible, they are flat out the best place to care for your dog when you need to board. They have flexible hours, friendly staff, provide detailed care and great rates. On top of all of that the owners are incredible people who breed and show their own dogs as well as work for Ohio Department of Natural Resources. It's obvious they care about animals and will treat your pooch accordingly.
This is the third time I have taken Abbey here. They are always very welcoming to her. She is comfortable with them which is very important to me. They do a great job and I highly recommend them for your boarding needs!
The owners and workers are awesome! My dog took to them right away... it was clear how much they all cared about dogs. Our dog, Rose, was happy when we returned from being gone for almost two weeks. It was her first time being boarded, and I was a little nervous, but pleasantly pleased when we returned. I'll definitely use them again.
Very accommodating to our last minute cancellation from our dog sitter over Memorial Day weekend. They called us back and let us know they had room for our dog. Great value! Dogs are kept separate, which was great for our dog who is more anxious around larger dogs. Our dog has some anxiety and has been sick from stress when we pick him up from some boarding facilities, but he was perfectly fine after a weekend at Howliday Inn.
Flyer’s Paw Zone is far more than doggy daycare. They are fantastic for daycare and my dog is excited to go. Always. In addition to daycare they offer activities for the dogs to enrich them while they are there. Every team member is professional and courteous. More importantly my dog loves seeing them. I also ask for advice and suggestions as to my dog’s care and wellbeing. They are always willing to assist.
Flyer’s Paw Zone is an absolute gem for dog care! The facility is spotless, which gives me so much peace of mind knowing my dog is in a clean and safe environment. The staff here are incredibly friendly and professional—they clearly love what they do, and it shows in how they interact with the dogs and their owners.
Honestly a really great experience. We needed them kind of last minute for a trip and they kept us up to date with him and sent pictures. When we picked him up we got a couple notes about him and he seemed happy to be there. Definitely will use this place again!
Flyer's Paw Zone (PWZ) is the best! Mister, our Italian greyhound, has been going there daily for almost a year plus we have boarded him on several occasions. As an only dog, Mister needs socialization and safe play time. He gets that at PWZ. He is happy to go and happy/tired when picked up. Highly recommend PWZ! They take care of their four-legged visitors.

I've been coming here for a couple months now, and while I was a little worried about the amount of dogs they accept, they seemed to have it all under control. But it finally happened... My pup came back with a massive gash above his lip with dried blood everywhere. He would regularly come back with minor cuts and scabs, which is to be expected when you have a high energy, non-stop playing dog like mine, but this injury is different. With something this big and visible I'd expect the worker to inform me or at least try to clean/disinfect it. Whether there's too many dogs for the staff to handle, poorly trained staff, or just bad protocol when injuries happen, it's enough to make me never come back here again. This is the first (and last) time my little guy came home and looked visibly distressed after daycare
We LOVE Flyers’ Paw Zone. We had tried several other daycares in the area and each disappointed. I knew I would like it as soon as I walked in for the tour; the place just smelled clean. Tika took to the PawZone staff right away, especially Sarah and Courtney! My girl RUNS into PawZone barking and ready to play each visit! And Ms. Sarah even taught her how to swim!! Flyer’s PawZone was the best decision for our family as now both of my daughters take their pups too! Thank you to all of the wonderful Staff!
Seamless, amazing experience with the team here. The space is incredibly clean, the staff is professional and accommodating, and our dog Pax had such a good day. Additionally, they provide pictures and an update about your dog during the day which meant a lot to us as owners! Thank you all!
We have been customers of Flyers PawZone since it opened and have been very impressed with the care and attention given to making our pups' stays enjoyable and fun for them. We have recommended PawZone to others. We had an experience 13-15 September that totally shakes out confidence in them now. We dropped off our happy, healthy and eager Cavapoo Cooper on Friday and picked him up about 48 hours later on Sunday. When we picked him up he was gasping for breath and his tongue was purple (cyanosis, lack of oxygen) and we realized we needed to get him to the emergency vet immediately. My wife went back in to ask how long he had been like this and why they had not called us, the emergency contact or had him taken to a vet. They replied that they had made an entry in their log that he was like this when dropped off and figured we knew - that is a blatant lie! We went directly to the emergency vet who triage categorized him in a critical (versus urgent or routine) state. His was suffering from heat exhaustion with a temp of 105.5 (dangerous) even after having cold air conditioning blowing on him enroute. They put him on oxygen and started an IV. Fortunately he fully recovered without going into heat stroke which he likely would have if treatment had been delayed much longer. I talked to PawZone on Monday and asked why nothing was done for him and got the answer again that he was that way when we dropped him off and that the conversation we were having was non-productive. I asked if there was a heat issue and they became defensive. We shudder to think what the outcome would have been had we missed the 2-hour pickup window on Sunday and this had gone to Monday. We are appalled at their lack of recognition of an emergency, their lack of concern, and their treatment of us. Their contention that he was like this at check-in is insulting. We have waited a week since the incident to see if we felt differently before filing this review - we are even more incensed that they would take no action on a dog with critical emergency symptoms (gasping and purple tongue) - he was not like that at check-in! Had he been I doubt they would have accepted him and if it was noticed shortly after drop-off wouldn't they have called us back immediately. Very unprofessional and dangerous!
