We had a fantastic time conducting this house and pet sit. Polly, the Labrador, was adorable and entertaining, and her pet parents were very easy to work with. They made us feel right at home and even left us a bottle of welcome wine along with an informational packet of all of their pet's emergency information. We would happily house sit for them again if the need arises.
Winston is such a sweet kitty! It did take him a few days to warm up to me, but if I was a cat, I'd be just like him. "Hey, I don't know who you are or what you're doing here, so I'm just gonna take some time to acclimate to you." Once he decided I was ok, he was super affectionate and talkative. He snuggled up to me for belly rubs when I was watching TV in the evening and gave kisses when getting brushed. He loves his feathered stick toys and plays wildly with them on his ripple rug. So much fun! His morning and evening routines are not complicated. There were a couple days getting him to take his pills was a bit challenging, but never so much that it wasn't possible and he was never mean. Overall, this boy is very easy to care for and fall in love with. Jennifer's instructions and videos were helpful and allowed me to feel confident in keeping Winston's schedule. While she was away, Jennifer was easily accessible and appreciative of the daily updates. Her place is clean and comfortable and I felt right at home. Everything you can want is within close proximity. The nearby walking trail is fantastic; I even saw a fox one evening! If the opportunity came, I'd sit for Winston and Jennifer again.
We had a great stay at Emily & Troy's home. We met a few days before the sit to meet each other and Max, see the house and where we can find everything. We felt very welcome to their lovely home. Max is a sweetheart! He loves attention and stayed very close to us when we were in the house or garden. When we walked him, he pulled a lot. So, after Emily's tip, we took him out first to the park close by, where he plays with other dogs and balls. So he gets his energy out, and after that, we walk in the beautiful neighborhood where they live. When we settle down to watch TV in the evening, Max often gets 'wild,' even after a walk and playing in the park. Then, we give him a big bone to chew on so he is more relaxed. Max slept on his dog bed in the bedroom we slept in. In the (sometimes very early) morning, Max wakes up and jumps on the bed, then sleeps and cuddles on the bed, so cozy! Fortunately, the bed is extensive, so we and Max have enough space. We had a lot of fun with sweet Max, so we recommend doing a sit for this lovely family and their beautiful house, which is in a beautiful neighborhood and close to the charming old city of Charleston!
We had a fantastic 2 months stay here in Verwood. Lovely house in a beautiful location with exceptional walks and bike rides right on the doorstep. Turtle the cat is a treat to look after, full of character and lots of love- we will certainly miss her! We really loved house sitting for Ruth & Lez, they made us feel very comfortable as soon as we arrived and cooked us a beautiful meal the night before their departure. Interesting people, friendly and very welcoming, had great communication from the start and made the process very easy. Would definately recommend and we hope to be back!
Tina and Mark are delightful, they helped us feel very welcome and at ease immediately as did Molly, Mable and Pancake, all three are very friendly, relaxed and healthy. The house and garden are just wonderful, spacious, light and very comfortable in every way. This sit is definitely 5 star plus. Thank you Tina and Mark for making our first sit extraordinary!

What a wonderful service, came twice a day to feed my fur babies, spending longer than the agreed 20 mins. Mandi has looked after my cat, Cosmo, on a number of occasions. Initially, I was looking for someone to look after him as a 'one off' situation because I couldn't get a friend to help out, but I've since decided to always go back to Mandi. Mr Cosmo is a very nervous boy and he generally hides away whenever anyone steps into my apartment. Mandi realised that he needed a gentler approach and miraculously, she manages to get him to come out for pets every time she looks after him. Clearly she can read animals very well. The best part is the daily updates/pictures/videos that put me totally at ease so I can enjoy my trip. Fabulous service and a lovely lady to work with. Cosmo and I will most certainly be back!
**SAFE PAIR OF HANDS - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED** What an absolute gem Mandi is. We were very wary of using a new person after a bad experience with a different sitter a few years ago. Mandi went out of her way to reassure us and took impeccable care of our cat, sending daily updates and offering suggestions on how she could help our little anxious fur ball while we were away. Her love of animals shines through, and our very aloof (rescue) cat instantly warmed to her.
"EXCELLENT dog walker“ 🐾 My dog Hector is a very energetic 2 year old Labrador and he loves going out for walks with Mandi. When he hears her car outside the house he bounces around excitedly at the front door waiting to see her. We first met Mandi nearly in May 2023 and Hector instantly felt comfortable in her company. I was so happy when Mandi agreed to add him to her weekly schedule as he is much bigger than most of Mandi’s regular 4 legged friends, but she got to know him and built up a super rapport with him and he’s very attentive to her commands and communication and very well behaved and obedient on her walks with other dogs too. Initially Mandi came for a few weeks to give Hector ‘comfort breaks’ as he had recently had live inoculations and couldn’t mix with other dogs. He was stimulated with toys and games and very much enjoyed the treats (which are high value and nutritious) as rewards, as all Labradors do love their food! Once he could mix again Mandi was careful to pair him with her other charges as Hector was nearly 2 feet tall by then and very bouncy. Mandi is totally trustworthy (we feel confident that she holds house keys to take care of Hector whilst we are out) diligent, conscientious and very caring with all the animals she takes into her care and her gentle and ‘firm but kind’ tone of voice and body language reflect these qualities too helping the dogs to feel at ease and strengthens the bond which Mandi has with them. Hector has a weekly walk with Mandi and comes back after having a full hour out (sometimes a little longer too) very tired and sleeps soundly afterwards. We got regular updates via text message also videos in the early walks which ensured us that ‘all was well’ and that Hector was safe and having lots of fun on the many different walks and surroundings Mandi would go. I regularly request extra walks and Mandi always manages to fit us into her busy schedules which helps us very much, and letting us know the day before what time she will arrive, so accommodating! I would definitely happily recommend her services to anyone she is responsible, reliable and very trustworthy and loves animals deeply, also with her great experience coupled with an extensive wealth of dog behavioural knowledge, Mandi gives me total confidence that Hector is in ‘great hands’ and is extremely well looked after, which is so reassuring. Ian took care of our dog Elmo recently. Elmo is ten years old and hasn’t stayed away before, he comes on all our holidays! So it was a big thing for all of us. Ian took on board how both the family and I felt and was able to ensure Elmo was well settled staying with him before the trip. Elmo loved his time as the house and made himself very at home! We had our two dogs Teddy and Minnie stay with Ian for 10 nights, we received regular daily photos and pupdates of them both out on walks and having fun. They both settled really well and we could tell they were very content and happy staying with him from the pictures. Minnie required medication whilst we were away and Ian was more than happy to continue her medication throughout her stay and always kept us updated We would highly recommend Ian and his services to all of our family and friends. Ian has walked my dogs for the last 2 years, they love him and they love the walks …. Sheldon was so shy at first but he took the time to get to know him and earn his trust. He is great with them, they both get so excited when he arrives….. He is reliable and very reasonably priced. The dogs stayed with him for a full week recently while we went on holiday and they had a ball, I loved all the picture updates we got and it really put my mind ease knowing they were happy. ian looked after my two girls (cockapoo and cocker spaniel) for 4 days, and i am so pleased with how well he cared for them. my girls have a complex issue of having bad fights with each other, and so i don’t tend to trust anyone other than myself with them as they have to be watched at all times, but ian did a brilliant job and kept a sharp eye, and managed to keep the girls happy together! they came back calm and happy and i will definitely send my girls to hound-about walking again for another board. thanks ian ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jane has once again been fantastic. We have two cats, one new to Jane on this visit, and they are both very fussy in their own ways. Jane went above and beyond to look after them and make sure they were alright, even bringing her own supplies when one cat decided to be extra-difficult. She sent regular updates on how the cats were doing and some really great photos and videos. Jane is always our first call when we need the cats looking after - 100% recommend.

I've used Ms Dolittle Pet Services to look after my cat twice in the recent months. Jane was great and managed to convince my very shy cat to trust her and he now loves the attention from her. Jane always sends daily pictures and/or videos so you know your pet is doing ok. As my bookings were during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jane undertook all the necessary safety precautions. Definitely the best pet sitting service and I will be using again when I next go away!
I have used Ms Dolittle Pet Service a number of times over the last year or so to look after my cat KittyKat. Jane is always reliable, caring and clearly has a genuine love of animals. The pictures and videos she sends while visiting my cat are hugely reassuring and I know KittyKat is being well looked after while I'm away. KittyKat is a rescue cat and is very shy and reserved but Jane is winning her trust more and more each time she visits. She is calm, caring and patient and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for someone to look after their pet.

Jane came by to introduce herself and meet Poppy and from then in has had regular contact with us and lovely pictures whilst we’ve been away. For over a year, I've have trusted Bailey with K9 Cabin, and I couldn't be more happy with them. After a few disappointing experiences elsewhere, finding K9 Cabin was a game-changer. The staff here are not only friendly but genuinely care about the well-being of the dogs. They offer a variety of activities, including, enrichment and walks in the woods. Plus, the themed parties they organise for holidays like Christmas, Halloween, and Easter add an extra layer of fun. Most importantly, Bailey always returns home happy and tired, which is a sign of a good day. I highly recommend K9 Cabin to any dog owner looking for a trustworthy daycare.
My pug goes every week to the daycare and gets so excited when he is realising he is going. The staff are always welcoming, happy and smiling, they really care about the dogs. I love the looking at the daily photos they put on social media. They go on walks, play games and even have themed party’s/celebrations. Last summer I used the home boarding as well, I honestly would never trust my dog with anyone else

Tammy and the team are so friendly. They are attentive and offers plenty of activities which ensure my dog isn't confined all day and had a lot of fun. after my first visit, I noticed significant improvement in my dog'a confidence level during our daily walks, especially around new people and other dogs. She has also become much calmer which makes it easier to train at home. whatever Tammy and the team did during the daycare, I am happy with the experience.
Fantastic experience for your pooch. I know our dog is in safe hands, he's walked, played with, has mental enrichment and gets to play with his friends. He can't wait to get in every morning and I have peace of mind knowing he is safe. By home time he's ready to snuggle on the sofa. I can't recommend K9 cabin highly enough, they are a life saver for this working dog mum.

Cannot recommend this day care enough. I have A nervous dog and was very worried about her going to day care. They keep you updated, you get to see pictures at the end of the day and my dog goes in every morning wagging her tail. 5* service and a day care that genuinely cares about you dog and they are not just a number!
Suki and Edwin are hands down the best pet sitters in Manchester! They took care of my dog, Fay Fay (a very picky boy), for two weeks, and I couldn't be more grateful. From the start, they showed such genuine care and love for him, and it’s clear they both have a passion for animals. Fay Fay can be quite particular, especially with his food, but Suki takes special care of his diet, ensuring he's well-fed and content. They also take him out for walks and playtime, which he absolutely enjoys. Suki and Edwin’s own dog, Eevee, is so well-trained and gets along wonderfully with Fay Fay. It’s heartwarming to see how comfortable Fay Fay is around her, and it really shows how well Eevee is raised. One of the best parts is that they sent us photos and videos of Fay Fay every day during his two-week stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. I really appreciate their professionalism, the daily updates, and their flexibility. I highly recommend Suki and Edwin to anyone looking for loving and reliable pet sitters! ❤️
Best dog sitter in Manchester! Suki is without a doubt a top tier dog sitter. She looked after our labradoodle reggie for just over a week and although reggie usually hates us going away, he had so much fun and was given 5 star attention and love throughout his stay. We were given regular updates everyday with pictures and videos. Reggie has quite a strict food regimen and Suki was so flexible and accommodated everything we asked. Reggie also has some medical issues and Suki was able to respond to these quickly and highly professionally, even administering difficult medication when needed. We feel like there’s no one more skilled and safe to leave your dog with than her. Could not recommend her services enough. Everything down to the smallest detail was tailored perfectly for Reggie’s stay. Thank you so much, we cannot thank you enough for going above and beyond for Reggie. And I’m sure he misses you all and Evee!
We brought our 4 months old Pomeranian boy to Suki’s place for boarding for a few days. Suki is very responsible and friendly. She kept updating us on how our boy did during the day. She also told us lots of useful information as we have never kept a dog before. Our boy has had his first walk out with Suki too. PS; Suki’s pet, Eevee is very gentle. She acts like a big sister taking care of my boy :)

The best dog sitter! I left my cocker spaniel for the first time for 2 weeks, so I was very nervous. We were sent lots of photos and videos every day, which made our holiday so much more enjoyable as we weren’t worried at all! He was very well looked after and they even helped train him in things we’ve been struggling to! He came back a much calmer and well behaved dog as well as us being given lots of useful information for us to better train him going forward. Their dog Eevee is so calm and patient with our dog, they got on so well! I will only use Pokepooch Pet Care for our future holidays.

We were extremely skeptical about leaving our beagle, Belle, in a kennel after we had had a bad experience elsewhere previously. She has now been on her holidays here twice (once for 1 night & the other for 3 nights) and I must say i am extremely pleased. She comes back content, clean & well looked after each time. I have no reservations now about leaving her here knowing she is getting good care & well looked after. See you for her summer holidays!
We put our dog, Dexter, in here for 17 days and he was looked after extremely well. He was walked, played with and spoilt for the whole time. They provided photos for us and when I picked him up he looked exactly the same as when we left him, unlike some kennels we have used. Many thanks to the staff at Springbank. We appreciate your hard work and care of our dog.
After being initially apprehensive about using kennels for my puppy I visited a handful of local ones with good reviews and Springbank stood out for me. My puppy did a trial night then two nights and now has stayed a week. He has always come back looking really happy and healthy They have on-site groomers should you need too. Very well priced considering the three times they are taken out of their kennel included in the rate. You can tell the staff there really care about my dogs and I can tell my puppy loves the team there whenever I drop him off or pick him up!
Very friendly staff, our puggle Dana loves the place and drags us to the door each time we arrive to drop her off. The prices are very reasonable. We were nervous leaving her at a kennel but we trialed for one night and have now used Springbank each time we go away
This is the only kennels in the area that we would even consider sending scotch to! The staff are absolutely incredible with him! Always willing to work around us time wise so we can pick him up as early as possible. The first few times here I was nervous leaving him with anyone so I always called ALOT but they always had time for me and never rushed me off the phone when I called to check in. During drop off they make you feel really safe leaving your animal here. Scotch can be very temperamental and nervous but he always has a fantastic time here and is extremely well cared for! You can tell there is a lot of love in what they do. The only downside is I’m 99% sure my dog misses the staff when he comes home! Thank you so so so so so much!!
Always leave my beloved Springer ruby here every time I go away. She's always well looked after and the prices are very reasonable
Amanda & Niamh are amazing, they really are so passionate at what they do, the level of care they provide is above and beyond, I wouldn't trust anybody else to look after my little Belle.
Liz and Keith have been looking after our dogs for about three years now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The dogs come home happy and exhausted every time, which with collies is not easy! They all love going to Auntie Liz's and we know they're in great hands while we're away. Liz also comes in and feeds our exotics if we're away for more than one or two nights and I haven't found an animal they won't take care of as yet! Precious Paws are completely trust worthy and I would not hesitate in suggesting them to anyone looking for a dog walker, day care provider, dog boarder/home visitor or any other service
Great dog sitting service provided my Liz and Keith. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are very flexible with our needs in looking after our dog. Nothing is ever too much even administering medications which can be tricky. Everything they do is much appreciated.
I can only give 1 star due to ringing up and asking about boarding for my 2 dogs I spoke to Liz and everything seemed great arranged 0a meet and great and she never turned up, or let me know she was wasn't coming. I phoned and rescheduled for the day after again no show! no explanation no call or reply to my text. she didn't answer her phone to me after several days so I gave up and found someone who could be bothered to do there job.
Marley absolutely loves Precious Paws. They are extremely reliable and caring. My dog absolutely loves the home boarding they provide and no longer goes to kennels when we are away. Best decision I made getting precious Paws to walk marley while im at work. Thank you xxx

Unprofessional. Everytime I pick my dog up he's in the small area. Has come home injured several times after "falling off the trampoline". Wouldn't recommend.

John chaperoned our Shiba Inu, Yoshi, at our wedding and he was really fantastic. He was really great with Yoshi who can sometimes make strange to new people, and immediately put him at ease. John accommodated all our requests - allowing Yoshi to be there at our first look before moving to the wedding venue, releasing him as ring bearer during the ceremony, staying our for the drinks reception so he could be in the photos and then looking after him overnight. We were able to enjoy our day and have our dog be part of it without worrying about it. We would recommend this service 100%.
I had a rather overgrown lawn, that was hiding a multitude of toys and also, well alot of deposits from 3 dogs. It was a bit of a task to wade through the "meadow" but John came to the rescue, after a few hours and many poo bags later and a spray of disinfectant (i think) it is no longer a minefield of poo. The dogs have found alot of there old toys, and are happy too. After this mamouth task i am happy to book regular visits from John who was very nice and Pedro amd Nellie greeted him with a cha-cha-cha wiggle and a bark. Thanks so much.
Love Scamps and Champs! We’ve been customers for a while now and all of my dogs have loved their walkers. Lesley is very accommodating and our old walker (Phil) was fab but retired. Our new walker (Stef) is amazing! Our Cavalier absolutely loves her!
We have used Scamps & Champs for over 6 years since we got our dog, Dougie. Every dog walker who has walked him has been professional, kind and caring. Dougie gets to walk and socialise with other dogs and loves all of the walkers but especially Jackie, who is his regular walker. We've also used the boarding service which is second to none. The online service is easy to use and allows flexibility to schedule and cancel walks as necessary. I would recommend the company to anyone (actually I did - my sister in law also uses them and loves them!)
Our dog Harry stayed with Bob for a week while we were away. We could not have asked for better care, Bob committed his week entirely to caring for Harry, giving him 2 good walks daily and sending us updates at least once a day. John and Jess chaperoned our 2 dogs during our wedding this past Saturday. What can I say? They were fantastic. Chip, our male dog is a good boy but Lola has separation anxiety from myself and was a little bit naughty on the day but John handled her perfectly. Good response times to emails and my queries. So far they‘ve been able to accommodate all of my requests no matter how last minute. A really easy online service to use and it puts my mind at ease when I get a service report (including photo) whilst I’m away from home. Our two daschunds lodged for a week over Christmas. They were in great shape when I collected them. They had obviously had a good time, been well cared for and looked after. For two very pampered dogs who had never been in a kennel I think that's a great accolade to all at Castle Croft.

Sent my dog in happy and healthy bouncy beautiful weight (as was said by the vet 2 weeks prior) but yet my dog came out malnourished and nervous... Skin n bones is the term I would use... I wouldn't use these again in fact has now put us off using kennels all together... If I could put 0 stars I would
We've been regular customers of Ann & Andy at Castle Croft Kennels for the best part of 5 years now and leave our huskies with them every time we're on holiday. Our experience has always been fantastic, the facilities are spotless and they use the same premium pet food we buy which is a pleasant surprise - so we know the dogs are eating well whilst we're away. For us the biggest benefit is that both of our large dogs can comfortably occupy the same large kennel (which also have outside runs!) so we know whilst we're away they're still together. The peace of mind allows us to enjoy our holiday all the more and I could not recommend them highly enough.
We have used Castlecroft a few times now for our greyhound Billy and this really is a fantastic place. Ann and Andy take real care and interest in our dog and we feel at ease knowing he is being well looked after. Thank you so much your both a credit.

I feel very at ease when four paws take my dogs on walks. They’re always accomdating and I get lots of pictures and updates while my dogs are on their walks! I wouldn’t use anyone else! They’re amazing

Jay and Olly did a wonderful job looking after my Boxer while I was away. She bonded with them instantly, and they kept me updated with photos and videos of her having a great time on her walk. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog sitter/walker.
There are not enough good words to say about Four P4ws - they are absolutely fantastic!! We needed someone to stay with our dog who is really old, and we came across Four P4ws in Instagram. They were super responsive, and Jay offered to have a meet up before we decided whether or not to use their service. Jay was lovely and we really liked the way he interacted with our dog, so we gave their service a try. They came and stayed with him two weeks running, and while we were away they sent us loads of updates. Evie and Jess were incredible too! And our dog clearly loves them too. So if you’re looking for a dog sitting service in Manchester, look no further. This is the only company you need!
I would definitely recommend Four P4ws. They were on time everyday to walk Gillie while I was in Manchester working. Updates on how he was doing while out really put my mind at ease. They replied to my messages very quickly and were very helpful.
I cant recommend the team at Four P4ws enough! The whole experience has been amazing and I will continue to use them to look after our dog Pep. The level of service they provide is way better than anything we have got off Rover. Evie works so hard to organise the whole process (while also watching dogs) and so far we have had Anais look after Pep and they have been unbelievable. Pep has some quirks and Anais is just perfect at dealing with them. Thank you all again and we look forward to continue working with you.
Absolutely amazing service. Looked after my husky really well and every time I came back he looked like he was happy and tired out (which is quite rare to see). The team tends to keep in touch as well, with a lot of photo updates so it keeps you at ease. I’d definitely recommend them for anyone who needs their doggo looking after :)
Stress free experience start to finish ✨ We we’re updated frequently (but not too much) with pictures and letting us know how our little pouch was doing whilst we were away. Everything was explained prior and Spyros our dogs care giver was so lovely, professional and really made sure she was looked after perfectly. Highly recommend
