The second time having Kevin sit for us was just as good as the first! He took incredible care of our home, and our pets were even sad to have him go! Kevin is so kind and thoughtful. He even left some Chinese New Year treats for us and a fun toy for the dogs that is perfect for their play style! Kevin sends some great pictures and updates of how the dogs are doing while we're away, which makes for a much less stressful travel plan than any dog boarding experience! If you want an attentive and thoughtful house sitter, you'll have no issue choosing Kevin as a house sitter!
I wish I could leave a review with more than five stars! Maeve was amazing, and we give her the highest possible review/recommendation. She was incredibly organized, competent, responsible and conscientious. She went above and beyond taking care of the house-washed the car, left us a dinner and breakfast, etc. Usually our cats are somewhat aloof with sitters, but they bonded with Maeve and sat on her lap. She was very caring toward them and left us top-quality photos and videos of them daily-so we're quite spoiled!
I can't recommend Helen highly enough! She was just the best house sitter we have ever had. Right from the start, when she initially came to meet us and the dogs, we knew we would be in safe hands - and we really were! Our 3 dogs instantly took to Helen. She has such a kind and caring nature about her. They were spoilt rotten with endless walks and even day trips. They were so well looked after and we had endless updates and photos keeping us well informed whilst we were on our holiday. We felt very in touch. Helen left the house in an immaculate state, you would never have known she was here. We felt so comfortable leaving her with the dogs who each have their own foibles. None of that worried Helen, she has such a calm and easy going nature to make you (and the dogs!) feel at ease. Helen is reliable, trustworthy, tidy, organised, kind and just thoroughly lovely. We felt lucky to have her and very much hope she comes to the UK more so she can come again! Anyone who uses Helen as their house sitter is very fortunate!
Beautiful home and property. The pups were an absolute joy. Ms. Daisy took the first day to warm up, and was quite easy going afterward. Jenna may have been the sweetest dog we’ve ever been around. Elaine stayed in touch throughout and had plenty of resources together to help make this a smooth sit for us. Overall, there’s a few chores here and there throughout the day, but very reasonable and well worth it for the quality of home and location.
