Janine was a perfect fit for our two kitties! She is a good communicator, left the house clean and neat, sent regular pictures of Mig and Mooney and made the effort to woo shy Mooney. We were shocked to hear that Mooney let Janine pet her! A major achievement! She went above and beyond during a very hot spell this summer to keep my deck and porch plants hydrated. We will definitely invite Janine to sit again!
Emily’s home is a cat lovers paradise with 3 well super friendly & fluffy cats. Emily provided a detailed guide to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. Her home is beautiful and well decorated with a relaxing back yard. Most importantly, the 3 cats were very easy to take care of and super entertaining.
Squat and Latte were the easiest little dogs to care for! Squat is just an old boy who loves his scratches and Latte is absolutely adorable. Heather gave us great and thorough instructions. The home and community are beautiful! There was more than enough room for us to work remotely. Overall we had a fantastic time!
This is a first class house & pet sit. Super cute dogs, beautiful apartment, stunning location and friendly, welcoming hosts. Abby & Isabella are old girls so you need to be thoughtful, patient, organised and strong (both dogs need carrying up and down the stairs) as they will benefit from all those traits with their meds, schedule and needs of four legged old ladies. They’re both loving and great company at home. They sleep a lot and love a bit of sofa time. Walks are short & fun and Isabella is very good in her trolley. The apartment is right by the station and close to Zug lake. Loads of great walks and mountain views, town on your doorstep with your plenty of places to eat and drink; Zug is charming. Alisa and Mark are warm, hospitable hosts who cooked us a great meal before they left and entrusted us with their precious girls for two weeks. Alisa was always on hand with any questions we had. Apartment is warm, stylish, well equipped and perfect for a couple as is the sit. We loved our time here and hope to see you all again soon! Thanks all of you.
5 Star review for Andy, an awesome dog! Andy is a high energy, nicely trained walking buddy. We enjoyed great weather, during the first week of this sit, that had us outside for three walks a day which suited us both well. Most morning/evening walks were with his buddy Shyla along a very convenient off leash area minutes from the house. There is also an off-lease dog park minutes away for longer dog walks. Andy is also great in the car and I took him to Fishcreek Park to walk the valley trails. Negative 5 Star review for the -50 degree wind chill weather that kept us indoors for the last five days of this housesit! Leaving this sit was hard as Andy was sad not being able to get outside which made me sad. I proudly went home with battle scars from our indoor ball tossing games that helped us both get through the nasty weather. The house is conveniently located in southeast Calgary and easy to access if you have a car and close to a bus route if you do not. Comfortable spare bedroom upstairs along with good internet connection made this a cozy house sit. Car pad beside the house made it convenient to plug my car in. There are friendly neighbours ready to lend a hand if needed and Shyla’s human Dennis made dog play dates over at his house or Kim’s easy to coordinate. Kim connected with me a couple of times during the sit, while on her cruise, as she felt Andy was well looked after between me and her neighbours. I did send her some pictures which she loved and kept a daily journal for her to look at when she returned. I would highly recommend taking care of Andy!
A brilliant sit at Andrea and Jonathans lovely quiet spot tucked away in the quint English Dorset countyside. Sax and Zara were the feline company for my stay and though tentative initially came around to my energy pretty quickly. My mum stayed for the first week and Zara especially took to her lap, perhaps far more so than I managed even with a week extra! : ) The house, garden and area are a great base for exploring the areas and extensive number of walks we did and that can be done. Though a very wet time of year for everyone, the coastal walks, particularly to the famous Lulworth Cove are fabulous! Andrea and Jonathan are very kind and accommodating folk and I would recommend the sit to anyone looking for a lovely, peaceful place to be with two gentle cats for company. Monkii is the sweetest cat ever. He loves cuddles and food more than anything lol. He is a very easy cat and you will love your stay in this beautiful and well located apartment ! I would definitely recommend this stay to any deep sleeper (Monkii can be quite talkative at night), to enjoy this amazing city! Charmaine is also very kind and understanding. It would be a great pleasure to be back if needed!
