Toola and Etna are very well-loved members of the family and it shows in their calm and cuddly-ness. The walking, feeding and sleeping routines were very clear and we were able to follow them to a T. They were both so wonderful to care for and the only problem we had was leaving without them! The homeowners, Andrew and Reba, along with daughter Sara are wonderfully kind and went all out in making our stay comfortable. The house location and amenities are 5-star alone, but it's the warmth in the family that will make you want to come back.
I thoroughly enjoyed looking after Casbah and Caramel, these two well-behaved and affectionate dogs. They so appreciated their walks and showed this with their excitement to get ready and by behaving & listening to me so well on our many leisurely walks through the green fields and countryside (with snow-tipped Alps & Jura mountains on either side!) Stefan, Kirsten and their sons welcomed me heartily into their lovely, warm home, showed me everything needed for the pet-house-sit and left me casserole and homemade muffins, which were all yummy. Before the family left, Kirsten and I took Casbah and Caramel for a long walk together, and I learnt how to manage the two dogs, with encouragement and also with firmness and through using the commands they are familiar with. Although Geneva is half hour bus ride away, I enjoyed walking the countryside with the two sweet, big dogs. On my own, I visited the little French town close by, 15 minutes on foot or quicker by bus, for coffee, snacks and groceries. So perfect! Thank you for a lovely pet and house-sitting experience! I would love to return to dogsit these sweet Casbah and Caramel again.

Yoreme and family are the most perfect housesitting hosts one could ask for. Their incredible home is a beautiful retreat in a pastoral area of Karlsruhe, and their cats are lovely to care for. If you are lucky enough to be chosen as their housesitter, you will have a fabulous time in this beautiful smaller city that also has easy day-trip access to parts of France and Switzerland! Antoine and Vatsala were great hosts. The were always fast in all communications and flexible with my arrival and departure times. The apartment had everything necessary and is located in a very convenient area, just a short walk from the old town and the river. I absolutely loved petsitting Bidoo. He was very easy to take care of and great company. I really enjoyed cuddling with him on the bed or couch or playing with his laser toy. I miss him already. I would definitely recommend this sit.
The house was very comfortable, clean, and organized. It stayed cool during a heat wave and I didn't have to use the AC. Neighborhood is quiet and there's a great Co-op nearby for groceries. The cats were sweet, well behaved, and it was fun hanging out with them. Pet care instructions and communication were clear. Would housesit here again.
