Tyler is great! He is energetic, clean, and extremely responsible. He’s also funny. Your pets will love him. He watched our dog and cat for 14 days. His sidekick, Lola, is a fun little ball of energy who my young, crazy Weimaraner decided was his new bestie. I received lots of videos of the two dogs playing hard, followed by more videos of the dogs completely exhausted. Exactly what my dog needed. (Apparently Lola can be easygoing, too, but not so much around my crazy guy.) Tyler even got my cat to quickly warm up to him. I received a video of her purring away while he petted her. We allowed Tyler use of our car, and there were no problems there. Prior to the sit, Tyler asked lots of questions (including our flight info) which I took as a sign of someone who wants to get it right. He continued to communicate throughout our trip when necessary . We came home to a clean yard, house, sheets and towels, and happy pets. Now, with Tyler and Lola gone, our dog is sad and depressed to once again be living with his boring owners. Thanks Tyler.
The Latimers were wonderful folks to sit for. Sadly, their beautiful Ami passed a few weeks before we began the sit, but they still kindly proceeded with our arrangements. Communication was excellent. Sidney is a wonderful community and a great place to do a sit.
Had a great time watching Macgyver! He’s a sweet boy, and Nicole made sure i had everything i needed, and informed me of how to care for Macgyver. The house is in a nice neighborhood, just a close walk to the train station.
We had a lovely long weekend at Rebecca and Robs beautiful home with gorgeous Eric. Eric is so lovely and cuddly. He’s a good boy and very easy to care for. He walks well on the lead (after an initial bout of excitement - puppy behaviour :-D ) and has good recall. He likes to cuddle up with us on the sofa, which suited us just fine! Communication with Rebecca was easy and friendly and we received a clear welcome guide with useful tips for things to do/places to go. The house is extremely comfortable, stylish and homely, with all conveniences. We had a really nice time in the area, meeting friendly locals in the Village Pub (Jolly Farmer), and had an enjoyable wine tasting at the nearby Burn Valley Vineyard. Overall a really lovely house and pup sit and we would happily return. Thank you Rebecca, Robert and most importantly, Eric!
Eric and Lycette are both warm, welcoming and they have a beautiful, well appointed and clean home. Flooded with natural light and a multitude of decks to relax on, listen to the birds, watch the hummingbirds and with plenty of room to do yoga…the dogs really loved that part 😊🔆 I stayed in the downstairs bedroom, which is spacious, quiet and has a very comfortable bed. It was lovely for sleeping with the cool, fresh air from the open window and one or both dogs snuggled in with me 🐾 And the dogs…Whiskey and Lulu…couldn’t have asked for a lovelier pair! Whiskey loved to hang out with me wherever I was and Lulu would either venture downstairs to her couch or wander over to her couch in the tv room whenever it was time for me to sit at my laptop to do my work. Lulu loves to howl when she’d hear a siren in the distance- so sweet! Especially since her howl was more physical than audible - her voice doesn’t work so well. But we’d howl together anyway ☺️ Whiskey is the best cuddler at bedtime and will keep your feet warm when at the dining room table (where I set up my laptop). I highly recommend taking the opportunity to sit for Eric and Lycette!
Maria organized the petsit to be smooth and enjoyable. The house had many admirable and impressive design features which maybe I can implement at home! The cats were easy to care for, too, each with great personalities.
We throughly enjoyed our sit at Viv’s. We had a great initial video call with her where she was lovely and it was clear she really cares for Sunny. Communicating with Viv was very easy and we were well informed before arrival. Her house is amazing, very homely and has a lovely garden, complimented with the fish pond. We adored Sunny who has so much love and personality even at 18 years old! She loved being with us and enjoyed her scratches and good brush. We’ll miss our cuddles with her! Viv’s place is located in the small village of Steeple where you really get a feel of the Essex countryside. Its around 1hr from Stanstead airport, so very convenient to get to! Would definitely recommend house and pet sitting here! 💚
