Tony and Anne made me very welcome in their lovely cosy and warm home.
The property is located on the edge of an industrial estate, although you wouldn’t really know it.
They have a large garden and access to the River Almond from the back gate; turn right and you can walk into Perth in just under an hour, turn left and you can be in the countryside fairly quickly.
The property is in a great location, an easy drive into Perth and with easy access to the beautiful surrounding Perthshire countryside. There is also a local bus into the city which goes along their road.
Charlie cat is very easy to care for, he is definitely a night owl, sleeps all day and likes to be out and about at night. He likes some attention during feed times especially after his breakfast when he enjoys a play and sometimes he will have a quick doze and purr on your lap in the evening but generally he prefers to keep to his own part of the house.
Lovely house sit, highly recommended.

Michelle and Andrew
The home owners Michelle and Andrew were flexible, excellent communicators and super organised. They did a great job in preparing the home for our arrival. They made sure that we had everything that we needed to care for the dogs and fish and they left detailed instructions regarding the home /garden and pets to cover all possible eventualities which we found really useful. The home was immaculate and very comfortable with all the modern amenities and a beautiful, bright and airy feel about it and as the dogs did not shed a lot of hair it was easy to clean when we left.
The labradoodles Clancy and Banjo were just a delight to look after- both have gentle and friendly temperaments and they took to us the moment we walked into the house. They seek out interaction and love rubs and cuddles and will want to be around you where ever you are in the house and are great company especially in the evenings. They slept soundly in our room and this was no problem at all- in fact they were so quiet that you would hardly know that they were there- just darlings both of them. They were well trained and knew exactly on which chairs and sofa's they could go on. Banjo is very playful, he really loves playing ball and both of them get super excited when they know that are going for a walk. There is a park close to the home so they can have a run around and the foreshore is not too far away and the dogs loved it there- just bring water for them to drink. They were very easy to walk- not pushy in any way and we had admirers every where we went!
The eateries in Geelong were really good and we had some lovely lunches on the foreshore and there were some great upmarket cafes not far from home too. The botanical gardens were also delightful and dog friendly. In short, the perfect house and pet sit for us and we enjoyed it immensely!

Danielle
I just spent a week in Metchosin, and I loved it. The island atmosphere is friendly, and it feels like home. Gary and Danielle provided turnkey instructions for the farm and quickly responded to any concerns. Frankie and I bonded over long hikes (thank you for the app suggestion, Danielle). Jacinda and Bella are easygoing and yet majestic at the same time. The house is fantastic, and I could not have hoped for a better experience. Thanks for everything, Gary and Danielle!

Nick
I had the most wonderful week with Bramble, Narla and Tiggy. Every day we went for hikes through the woods and open fields and it was so lovely to watch the dogs run around, have fun and be free. They love to snuggle too! Every time I sat down on the couch, all three of them would jump up and sit on me and rub their faces against mine tenderly. It was so sweet. Nick and Lucy are very laid back and were patient when I had trouble with the trains. They are friendly and responded to my messages kindly and promptly. If I am ever in the area again, I would be happy to spend more time with these dogs!

Sara
Sara was a kind, generous and thoughtful host, and it was a pleasure to spend the day with her before she left.
Norbert, Iggy and Josie (the homeowners 😸) are lovely. Each one has a very different character, but all are friendly, gentle creatures who love the outdoors (although they never went far and were always home by bedtime!).
Sara has a lovely home, with everything you need, in a quiet part of town. The basement room, with ensuite, was comfortable and wonderfully cool during the hot weather.
I am very grateful to Sara for giving me the opportunity to share her home and visit Washington DC. I can very much recommend this sit.
