This was our first experience on zeewoi and it could not have been a better one! Steven was absolutely deserving of all of his 5-star reviews! He lovingly cared for our three cats - who were well adjusted and very happy upon our return. The house was clean and tidy as he had taken the time to clean the kitchen, empty the dishwasher, launder the sheets, and remake the bed. He took the trash to the end of the road and reclaimed the can. Steven proactively sent us photos of each cat every day, and was very responsive when we asked other questions via both text and email. I feel so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet Steven briefly and to have him at our home. We would absolutely welcome him back any time!
Neala was a pleasure - she’s so cute! For being a senior dog she’s in great shape with good energy. I loved spending time with her. Michael was communicative every step of the way.
Meg and Murph are two adorable rascals! We took to them straight away and they obviously love human contact because they were very affectionate. Unfortunately, our paths didn’t cross with Rose and Terry but we enjoyed their lovely, comfortable home and we hope to meet up another time.
A sun soaked sanctuary with glorious 180 degree panoramic views, with two delightfully characterful and loving cats - very, very much missed! All enhanced by Irina's creative touches, beautiful art, sacred touches, library of interesting and inspiring books, and warm wrapping and uplifting energy that pervades her home. But the real stars of the show are Ella and Lola, with their very unique characters and voices. Both chatty, affectionate and always ready for a cuddle and fuss. If you had to stay in every day of the sit, you would still be very happy indeed in Irina's home with these two beauties, and you'd feel all the better for it. On top of all of this is the beauty of the area. Although we didn't get out to explore much, wrapped up in the arms of Irina's wonderful home, opportunities for walks from the house are plentiful. Rye (town and nature reserve), Hastings and St Leonards on Sea within an easy drive. We hear Dungeness, with it's completely unique landscape, and a visit to the Snack Shack for freshly caught and cooked fish (a family run business) is a must and worth the effort of travelling a little further. And, I'm sure, there's much more besides just waiting to be discovered. It was a shame we didn't get to meet Irina in person as she is as interesting as she is lovely and we would have loved to know more about her and her adventures in the arts.
Claude was an excellent host- lots of attention to details and reference materials in case one forgets procedures. He anticipates well what his dogs will need and the cupboards were stocked with everything one needs. House is located in a lovely neighborhood, where one can walk the dogs safely all hours and there are green spaces close by. Also close are some nature preserves that are wonderful places to "get away" from the bustle, grocery stores, eateries and all the neccesities one would normally want. Brie and Fletcher are as sweet as can be and they have a big back yard to hang out in. The house and bed were very comfortable, kitchen well appointed and internet super reliable. Claude likes to stay in communication, but is not demanding in the least. Cannot recommend the sit highly enough, it was a great time, even with the single digit temperatures for a week!
I had a wonderful time housesitting and petsitting for Terri and Mark these past three weeks! 🐶🐱 I loved hanging out with Cooper and Cosmo! They are so adorable and friendly and kept me company while I worked remotely. Cooper is well-trained and routine-oriented. He loves his tennis balls and following you around everywhere. Cosmo loves to cuddle during downtime and hung out w/ me and Cooper when we went on our walks and during playtime outside. I miss those two already! 🏡🌲 Terri and Mark are very warm and welcoming and have a cozy house and beautiful property. They had a detailed guide ready for me and were communicative when they were gone on vacation. I felt very safe at their place as a solo traveler. Murphys is a really cute mountain town, and there’s a lot of outdoorsy things to do in the surrounding area. I highly recommend this sit and would love to come back in the future!
We had a wonderful time looking after Phillipa’s home and pets. The dogs , Zoe and Echo were a joy. Zoe loved to cuddle up with us at any time, as did echo! Quite often competing for the same lap or leg to lean against. Echo is still very much a puppy and enjoys tug of war and ball games in the beautiful garden. She will amuse herself as well. Both of them were easy to walk and very obedient. The Guineau pigs, gecko and fish were easy to look after. A beautiful home with a fabulous kitchen to cook in and comfortable lounge areas. Easy access to lovely walks, and local pubs. Shops were easily accessed by car, not far away. We would definitely recommend this sit, five stars😊 hopefully we can do this again in the future .
