Janelle and David were wonderful hosts - relaxed, down to earth, helpful and friendly. I felt immediately comfortable in their home. They have a spacious, clean and lovely house on a quiet street, with a dog park down the road and a nice pool. I felt safe, at ease and welcome. Janelle was very open and calm. Her communication was consistent and supportive. Frankie is a young, black, Labrador Retriever. She is full of energy and likes to chew on her toys, play fetch and splash around in the water. She's well behaved on walks and loves a run around the dog park. She sometimes has excess energy to burn and will do some really wild zoomies! She also likes to run off with things like hats and tea towels, so do put your things up high and out of reach. She can be tempted with a treat to go into her crate at night, or to go outside for a run around if she is being a bit rambunctious. She really just wants you to play with her, take her out for walks and be her friend. This was a really fun, relaxing house sit in a lovely area. I highly recommend it.
The bar was set pretty high on this sit based on all the prior reviews and it didnβt disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed our time sitting for Pepper and John and fell in love with Foodie during our visit. We had numerous discussions with Pepper prior to the sit and were able to sit down and catch up with Pepper, John and Foodie before their departure to walk through all the details. They have a lovely home situated in a tranquil community with beautiful homes and friendly neighbors. Their home is a gardenerβs paradise with numerous flora and fauna on display and deer wandering throughout the neighborhood. The star of the show, Foodie, is the sweetest of dogs. Although she may no longer a puppy, she is in amazingly fit shape for her years; a testament to the care Pepper and John have given her. Foodie is guaranteed to melt you with her eyes and communicates volumes in just a look or two she gives you. She was a joy to look after and became an instant part of our family. We will miss her dearly.
