Grace and Eric were amazing house sitters! Before arriving, their communication was friendly, thorough and very centred around the care of our three pets, a dog, a cat and a goldfish. We were away for a month, and they kept us updated regularly on how all the creatures were, with sweet, caring and reassuring private messages on Facebook. This was hugely welcome, and very entertaining! Our contact was warm, personable and very friendly. All animals were obviously extremely happy with their new mum and dad! When we returned, the house was pristine, exactly as we had left it. They had even mowed the lawn, dead-headed the flowers and weeded the patio! The garden was beautiful. Eric and Grace are a lovely couple: charming, kind, good-humoured, enthusiastic, interesting and interested. They're clearly keen to immerse themselves in foreign cultures, and they did exactly that by making friends with a number of people in our town!
