Rebecca is very sweet and incredibly considerate. We had a nice long zoom call before confirming the sit and she was easy to talk to. At the time I had two kitties and one was very ill. Rebecca asked thoughtful questions and had so much experience that my stress and anxiety were alleviated; I was grateful to have found her and felt completely comfortable entrusting my kitties and little piece of paradise to her. Unfortunately my Fizzy Fitzy's health deteriorated and he didn't make it. I let Rebecca know before the sit that it would be only one kitty and that he would be adjusting to the loss of his "brother" and companion and might need more care and attention. She was so kind and again, I felt like the universe had sent me the right person. Rebecca and I got a chance to meet as we overlapped by an hour or two on day one; I was so glad to be able to see her in person and give her a hug before I left. I returned after about 10 days to a calm kitty (which was amazing given that he'd just lost his lifelong companion) and an immaculate apartment. Rebecca even washed the sheets and made the bed which was so beyond helpful and appreciated after a tiring trip. Rebecca sent me a long message on the last day letting me know what had been done and showing a walk-through of the home (she's very thorough, which I love), so I knew what I was coming home to down to the fruit in the fridge. Seriously, the place was immaculate! I know you're journeying on Rebecca but I would love to have you sit anytime. Thank you!

I looked after Ebony between 26 Sep until 4 Oct and I will give my feedback below.

I arrived during the night on the 26th Sep because I went by coach and it got stuck in the London traffic for almost an hour, so I was late and Ebony was alone more than what was expected. And I felt really guilty for that, despite the fact that the coach and traffic weren’t under my control.

The next day, we went for our walks (the first one on the beach for an hour), and then we became friends. We did our walks every day, played, she watched Netflix with me and cuddled with me when we were at the house, and we had a great time together. I didn’t have issues with Ebony, she is full of energy for playing and walking, but more important she is lovely and affectionate.

However, I didn’t have a good first impression of Pam. From the first moment she came back to the house, it looked like she was looking for the wrong things that I did in the house. In less than an hour when she was back, she complained about my cleaning, saying I didn’t clean the bathroom shower and I put the bins wrong, but in the welcome guide she shared with me, there is no instructions about the distributions of the bins and the information about the cleaning was “I don't expect you to clean but I have all the cleaning things under the sink and a vacuum stick in the cupboard on charge.”. Despite that, I organised, cleaned and hoovered the house the day before she came.

I would suggest to her update her welcome guide with her expectations to make it clear for future pet sitters, because there was no more information regarding Ebony there (besides what was in the advertisement on the platform) and no information about the cleaning expectations.

I believe people are different and they have different expectations. Once we, as pet sitters, know what the expectations are of the parents, we can try to achieve that.

Lokibear the cat was a pleasure to sit for. He is quite a character and a very sociable chap following me around his home. The house was in an immaculate condition and the couple were so welcoming when I arrived. Instructions were beautifully clear, and everything was arranged perfectly. They were also very quick to reply when I asked questions. I cannot fault Lokibear and his pet parents! Brilliant!

We had a lovely week with Lola. She's an easy-going and affectionate dog. She likes her routine and is very vocal if you need reminding! She likes to know you're there but is happy to sit by herself in her favourite spots. Lola loves her walks and keeps herself entertained sniffing out all the different smells.

Sarah and Humphrey were very welcoming and communication was great when organising the sit.

The house is stunning – plenty of space for us both to work from home. The garden was a lovely place to spend time in the nice weather. It's in a great part of Ealing too, next to two nice parks.

All in all, we had a great time and we're looking forward to seeing Lola again in August!
