Lily was very pleasant to house and pet sit for, communication was great, house was neat and tidy, Pasha is a very nice Cat and was super easy to look after. Lily made us feel very welcome into her home and was very accommodating.
Only Andrew stayed for the whole sit and here is his review: Ananda and Johannes were the height of friendliness from the moment that we started speaking. There are a few specific things to know about the house and the cats, but they allow plenty of time for you to arrive and be shown exactly what you need to do, so you just have to follow their easy instructions. The house is wonderful, spacious and well designed with everything you could possibly need. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Ananda and Johannes are also two of the most generous people that I've had the fortune to meet. Helios and Cleo were a little shy with me at the start, but then once they became comfortable, they were lovable and affectionate. They are very polite and enjoy being petted and played with. The surrounding area is extremely quiet and relaxing, with lots of options for hikes, walks, runs, cycles, drives on windy roads and even swimming in the local lake. I would be very happy to return and look after Helios and Cleo (and the other visiting kitties) again!
We had such a great time with Bertie and Kit in Royston. Bertie had gotten a bit poorly before we started the sit but Holly gave us clear instructions for his pills and feeding routine which made it really easy to look after him, he’s an absolute sweetheart. He stayed with us most of the time and sat on both of us when he was in the mood, which we loved 🥰 Kit is a shyer girl but was equally as sweet and affectionate when she got used to us, even sleeping on the end of our bed a couple of nights. She also likes to go outside on her own adventures for most of the day. Royston is a beautiful place with a vibrant community and high street with cafes, restaurants and pubs all 2 minutes walk from the house. We took the opportunity to go to Cambridge for the first time which was only 15 mins on the train and was one of the highlights of the sit for us as it was such a sunny day with everyone sat out on the grass and just a really great day out. Holly and Tom couldn’t have been nicer, they made us both feel so welcomed into their home as well as leaving us some lovely gifts for when we arrived. Communication was easy throughout and we loved the home, it has such a warm and intimate feel to it having been built in the 16th century with the original wood beams but still has all the modern amenities you could wish for. Thanks again Holly, Tom, Bertie and Kit, we would highly recommend this sit to any future housesitters. 😊
Sam and I had a very enjoyable week looking after Levi. He’s a big sweetheart who loves a cuddle on the couch or in bed before the light is turned off. He knows all the commands/tricks and won’t touch his food until you tell him! Amy’s home in Capitol Hill is in a quiet and safe neighbourhood, minutes away from shopping, coffee, take out and only a short bus ride to downtown. Amy is extremely nice and had very good communication before and throughout the sit. We would recommend to anyone who gets the chance! Thanks again Amy and Levi
Sarah and JB are a very lovely couple. Sarah was kind enough to pick me up at the subway station as well they had a pastry for me to welcome me into their home. At the end of the sit ,even though they were tired returning from a eight hour drive. They took the time to drive me back and they went the extra mile by helping me to get on the proper train to my next destination. Harry and George are sweethearts it was a pleasure being with them. Beautiful couple, beautiful home and surroundings. With easy access to stores for grocery and baked goods. I would happily sit again for this lovely couple.
