Marina and Sascha are the nicest people you can imagine and we had a fantastic time taking care of their lovely cats. Dečko and Teta are very easy to take care of, they just need food and company and like it when you are with them in the beautiful garden. They also let us cuddle them. :-) The house is great, we had everything we needed and much more. We very much enjoyed the quiet and the nice surroundings. We would definitely do it again. We had the most enjoyable stay with Tikka and Fluffy. Tikka is very lovable with a fantastic nature. She exudes happiness, and she would definitely win first prize for the waggiest tail! She has great recall when off the lead, and we were spoilt for choice with so many great walks on our doorstep which we enjoyed exploring with Tikka. Fluffy came to the window to say hello on our first evening and, after a day or so, once she got to know us she even let us give her a stroke. She keeps a low profile but is inquisitive and likes to check what you're up to, especially if there might be a few cat treats on offer! Lizzie and Jamie gave us the warmest and friendliest of welcomes into their gorgeous, characterfull home which is in a truly beautiful and peaceful setting with stunning views of Loch Leven. Their pet-friendly garden is a real gem; we enjoyed relaxing in the sun, watching the array of garden birds, and we were even lucky enough to have a red squirrel visit! There are good local amenities within walking distance; we especially loved our walks to Loch Leven's Larder with Tikka. Lizzie is super organised, she had clearly put a lot of thought into every detail of our stay, and communication with her was friendly and relaxed. This is truly a five star sit which we wouldn't hesitate to recommend, and we would be honoured to return in the future. Thanks again Lizzie and Jamie 😊
From start to finish Brian was clear about expectations and instructions, and great at communicating. I had a seamless time at his place, caring for his adorable dog, Roscoe, and the location is central to many fun bars, restaurants, and other amenities — even his roommate and neighbors were fun to meet and chat with. This area is so special, it’s located on the edge of Elysian Park and the views are breathtaking. I was also a short bike ride away from downtown, and it took 15 mins to leisurely walk to Echo Park. Roscoe is so gentle and sweet, and very well-trained. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
After not having done a house/pet sit in a couple years, Daisy, Luna, and Elisabeth have reminded me how rewarding these experiences can be. Daisy and I became quick friends. Luna is extremely chill. Elisabeth was so welcoming and gracious. Oh, and the location was amazing.
Jacqui and Charlie were a lovely couple who made us most welcome. Their home was very clean and well equipped and they very kindly gave us first use of their brand new family bathroom which had a fab shower cubicle. They also left towels, toiletries, food and drink. Plus wood for the woodburner. All was as described in their advert. They left thorough notes on everything and also the local walks for the dogs. The best bit, for us, was Merlin and Peanut their 10 month old Miniature Schnauzers. They were young and energetic which meant that they were up early and ready for the day. They were playful, cuddly, yet well behaved, very good, friendly and obedient dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed looking after them, going for walks, playing and training in the garden and washing them after their walks! We loved spending time with them. Thank you for a lovely time.
We thought it would be a perfect sit the moment we virtually met Janet and Billy... but taking care of Murphy and Chester was even better than that. Both boys, with their own character are so lovable and sweet that everyday spent with them is a joy. Once again we confirmed that great "pawrents" are the key to amazing sits. And as a cherry in the top, a cozy home in a beautiful village. Thanks all for the opportunity, the confidence and the present!
