This was a wonderful house sit from start to finish. Guy is the most thoughtful, generous and kind host who showed us around, prepared a lovely meal on our first evening. He ensured everything required for a successful house/pet sit was covered in his welcome guide. We enjoyed every home comfort and more in his beautiful home and gardens including the tasty produce from the greenhouse and gardens. The two dogs, Bosun and Molly were fantastic company, well behaved, fun, and utterly adorable and we shall miss them greatly. Everything was exactly as described and Guy was contactable and responsive during the sit, despite travelling across Europe. Guy’s main concern was that we enjoyed the experience and we certainly left with many happy memories . A five star host without doubt and we would highly recommend this sit as an exemplar of the perfect house and pet sit. Hope to see you all again soon. It’s been a privilege.
After two months of traveling, we had our last housesit at Jo’s home in Bury St Edmunds and it was the perfect end to our trip! Jo was welcoming and hospitable when we arrived and we enjoyed an afternoon tea getting to know one another before she left on her trip. Jo gave us clear instructions for caring for her home and Risga, with great recommendations for a day trip to the coast nearby. We enjoyed taking Risga on walks on the nearby footpaths and spending time relaxing with her at the house and in the beautiful garden. Risga was the sweetest and most well behaved dog and we truly missed her when we left! We highly recommend this housesit and hope to return someday soon!
It was an absolute pleasure looking after the whole furry “gang”. From goats to pigs, dogs and cats, they all behaved wonderfully and we would love to come back for more fun with these lovely pets any time! Even Harry, one of the cats, who needed medication five times a day, handled it so well and was a sweet heart. The communication was easy and smooth from day one and we felt so welcome almost as part of the family. Any one that gets to house sit in these gorgeous surroundings with the company of pure furry love is lucky.
I had a fantastic time with Pumpkin, she's a real gem! Loved the house and the location, it is so peaceful and gorgeous out here! Ann and Tim were very communicative and helpful! My stay here was awesome!
