Dog Sitters in Durham

Samantha and Alex were amazing pet and house sitters for our dog Rosalee. They cared for her for almost 10 Weeks and during that time Rosalee unfortunately contracted an infection ; they did not hesitate to take her to the local Japanese vet to get the help She needed… this also involved them taking her daily for checkups and follow ups on an almost dally basis for two weeks straight. They did all this with enthusiasm and care. We were so thankful they were with her! We hope they’re able to sit for us again in the near future !!

Tanya and Philipp were great with my senior cat Sophie. We had excellent communication ahead of the sit and I felt very comfortable leaving my pet and my home in their care. Tanya texted me with photos of my cat each day as I had asked, and she was very responsive to my texts. They were very respectful of the use of my home. In fact, there was literally no hint that someone had even been in my home, with the exception of a happy kitty. Usually when I get home after an absence I get a very noisy scolding from my cat and then she gives me the cold shoulder while she sulks for a night. But when I arrived home this time she was completely content and showed no sign of anxiety whatsoever. And avoiding anxiety for my sweet senior cat is exactly why I signed up with Zeewoi. So, I'd say this sit was a tremendous success. I would not hesitate to use Tanya & Philipp again and I highly recommend them.

Jenna provided exceptional housesitting services for us when we were away for a week in January. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in good hands. Jenna was not only tidy and organized, but she also displayed a high level of professionalism throughout her stay at VascoVilla. She kept us updated regularly with photos, which gave us peace of mind knowing that everything was taken care of. Prior to our departure, Jenna took the time to chat with us via phone call and even followed up with a video call prior to our departure to ensure that she had a clear understanding of our expectations. When we returned, we were amazed at how immaculate our house looked. Jenna went above and beyond by washing her own bedsheets from the bed she slept in, remaking it, and leaving everything neat and organized. It truly felt like no one had been in our home. Not only did Jenna take great care of our house, but she also went the extra mile to ensure the well-being of our dogs. She made sure they had food, clean water, and even gave them treats and chew toys before she left. Our furry friends were happy and content throughout our absence. One incident that truly stood out was when our neighbor mentioned seeing Jenna shoveling our three-car driveway on a snowy day. Not only did she take the initiative to clear the driveway, but our kind neighbor even came over with a snowblower to assist her. It was heartwarming to see the community spirit in action. Another aspect that impressed us was Jenna's attention to detail when it came to our plants. She asked us about watering them and specifically inquired about which plants needed less water, more water, or no water at all. This showed her dedication and knowledge in caring for different types of plants, ensuring they thrived in our absence. Jenna also left us a lovely detailed note and some yummy mint chocolates when we returned. This was very thoughtful ❤️ Jenna's dedication, commitment, and attention to detail are truly commendable. We highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and trustworthy housesitter. She goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of both your home and pets. Maggie stayed with her partner Michael and took excellent care of my cats and my home. They were consistent with sending me updates on my boys, along with some really cute pictures! Christine was very responsive and attentive to everything I asked about. Everything in the house was pretty much as I left it, which was really nice. She took excellent care of Pippin, who I'm sure was sad to see her go. Sent me great photos. It was such serendipity running into her at the airport, giving me a quick chance to say Thank You in person!

James, Morgan's partner was actually the sitter for our 4 y/o dog. He kindly came by before the sit for an orientation in our home and meet our dog. James communicated with us before his arrival and during our two week vacation, even sending photos of Ryder, which we enjoyed. James put bedding and towels in the laundry as well as took out the trash before our arrival, which was very much appreciated. He is a lovely person who I would recommend to anyone. We would be happy to have him sit again.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about my recent experience with Fardowsa as my home and dog sitter! From the moment we met, I could tell she was a perfect fit for my sweet Coco (I should mention this was the second time she has looked after my girl, so I'm clearly a happy repeat customer!) She absolutely spoiled Coco, showering her with love and attention. It was heartwarming (and very comforting) to see how well they bonded during her stay. Emily and Sebastian were ideal sitters. Clear communication, well-organised, adaptable and reliable. They kept us informed about how the cats were getting on, as well as an issue with the apartment itself. We returned to happy, relaxed cats and a startlingly clean apartment - including all the laundry we expected to do afterwards. They'd also kept a log of which cat had done what (fighting, toilet issues etc.) on which day, so we could review it for anything we'd recognise as abnormal. We'll have them back any time. if they're in the area, we'll use that as an excuse to go travel somewhere for a few days.

10/10 recommendation for Steve and Tonya. Excellent communication, they left the house in perfect condition. The provided pictures and daily updates on our pets. Most importantly, our pets were treated like royalty. Thanks Steve and Tonya!

Once again, Stephen was an excellent housesitter for our dog Charlie. Charlie was content and happy when we got home and the house was cleaner than I left it. Stephen is such a friendly easy going person that even our neighbours and their pets enjoy it when he is at our house. I would highly recommend Stephen as a house sitter.

Alice was only here for a short sit but she was lovely! My Penny took to her immediately and, based on the photos Alice shared, it looks like she had lots of fun playing together. The house was just as I’d left it when I returned. I’d be happy to invite Alice back.
