Sharon and Milton do such an incredible job at my house! They have babysit my cats several times now and my cats love them to the point that they look disappointed when I arrive home! Sharon is an excellent communicator and very organized. Milton always manages to make something around my house better than we I left and the house is sparkling clean when I return. I hope they are able to return again and again!
We had a great time during this housesit in Honfleur! Communication with Lauranne was very easy and she left very good information regarding the care of the dogs and house. She was a bit flexible about the starting day for this sit, which we were very grateful for. We arrived a few hours before Lauranne left and she had breakfast ready for us and even cooked up a lovely lunch. I fear after 13 hours on the road we were not the best company that morning- sorry for that... Chuchu and Sunny are two beautiful, gentle and affectionate dogs who are easy to care for - and used to small kids :) They just want to be played with and cuddled (and fed!) Especially Sunny loved to be around us and would jump on the couch whenever I sat down so I could pet her. There are some lovely walks around the village but it was very hot, so the dogs were not very keen on long walks. The house was very comfortable and perfect for us as a family. We enjoyed our meals on the terrace, the kids loved the trampoline in the garden… Thank you so much Lauranne for choosing us! We can wholeheartedly recommend this housesit!
We absolutely LOVED our Spanish winter sit caring for the chickens, ducks and Boots the Cat at El Molino Del Conde. The mill itself has oodles of historic charm set in gorgeous grounds surrounded by a babbling stream alive with turtles. An oasis of indigenous trees amid olive groves meant the birdsong in the morning was a joy to wake up to as spring approached. We entertained ourselves with boule, ping-pong and badminton and took the occasional bike-ride up to the village of Villa Nueva de Tapia. The lake of Iznajar is just a 15 minute drive away and an interesting place to walk around and watch the sun go down from. We also enjoyed short day trips to Malaga (1 hour away), Cordoba and Ronda. We really miss Boots the Cat - we'd love to come back and look after her and the place again. A gorgeous house-sit - thanks Nick and best regards to Kimberley who looks after the place so well. Lynus and Kelpie were so playful! Poor Tippie never came out from under the bed. Overall, the cats were a joy, Morgan was great and communicative, and the location is nice. Great to have access to a pool because even at the end of October the heat never lets up in central Texas.
Lovely sit at Emma’s with her three gorgeous cats! Emma’s house was super nice and in a great location near all the shops and amenities of Crystal palace and Gispy Hill. The cats were so well behaved and easy to look after. Blue loved a cuddle and Mouse and Pacífica loved playtime and lazing around in the kitchen for most of the day. Dylan and Emma showed us around their house prior to the sit, and explained everything we needed to know. I would absolutely recommend this sit and would love to return! Thank you Emma and Dylan
We had the privilege to spend a month in a beautiful and huge house with two super friends Nini and Tandje. These dogs are affectionate, endearing and easy to take care of. It's a very friendly neighborhood with plany oy parks and other dog owners to chat with. Katie-Lee and Vincent, the hosts, are warm and generous people who made our stay as comfortable as possible with great conversations and giving a lot of infos about the city. The communication was very easy all along. Any kind of stores for our need were at 10 minutes walk or less by bike. The nearest metro station is at a short 5 min walk. Amsterdam is very busy so being just outside the old center is perfect. Thank you to this beautiful family for all the great memories. Julie and Yannnick
Amy is a friendly host and quick to respond. Her home is cozy and within walking distance of a grocery store and shops! Levi is a funny pup that is vocal and will let you know when he's ready for walks. I really enjoyed his schedule as it made me more active during the day. He gets a morning and evening walk. He also would let me know when he wanted to sit outside by ringing the bells hanging from the porch door. He can be a little cheeky during walks and snatch food- he'll have it swallowed before you have time to react usually! I was impressed with how he knows to wait to be wiped off with a towel on rainy days. He even holds his paws up and turns around for you! He's also a cuddle bug & would plop next to me on the bed to lay his head on my lap. He's a clever, cuddly & cheeky pup and I'd happily watch him again if ever in the area! 🐾💞

My cats and I absolutely love it here! The staff have never been anything but incredibly friendly, professional, and accommodating. Everyone there is so thoughtful in creating a calm atmosphere for all of the animals and I know my cats are happy and extremely well taken care of when staying there- Kris especially is always so kind and communicative; it’s obvious that it’s not just a job to her and that she really loves the animals in her care. I highly recommend Great Bay Kennel for anyone who wants peace of mind that your animals are in safe and loving hands when you’re at work or traveling.
Did not have a good experience with the groomers here! They asked me to drop off my dog between 9-10am which I did, but then when I called 4.5hrs later(!!) they hadn't even touched my dog yet. I should have immediately went and picked her up but they insisted they would get to her next. Seems like they finally took her out to pee after the call (no water, poor thing was so parched) and bathed her with a quick trim (nails weren't done). Then to top it off, charged me twice and still no refund weeks later. Please go to another place that has better schedule management skills (and refunds!) down, so your pup won't be traumatized.
Over the past 6 years we have been using Great Bay Kennel for our 4 dogs! We have done day boarding, grooming for both our Bulldog and Great Pyrenees, as well as weekend and overnight boarding. The excitement our pups get when I pull into the parking lot is like no other! They jump out of the car and forget I even exist. Everyone at Great Bay is phenomenal and I cannot recommend them enough! They are attentive, kind, and love these dogs like they are their own. They make sure they feel safe and give them SO much love. I never worry about leaving my pups with them because I know that they are in great hands! The facility is SPOTLESS. I have never seen a cleaner kennel. The staff are always making sure their food dishes and kennels are clean. The bedding they provide is always clean and my pups LOVE the beds. Also, don’t be worried about your pups getting cold because their floors are heated and the facility is always at the best temperature! The groomers at the Kennel our beyond wonderful. My bulldog has severe skin allergies and they take such great care of her! She hates baths at home, but absolutely loves them here. My Great Pyrenees enjoys rolling in the dirt and is an absolute fluff ball, but Great Bay does an incredible job getting her looking fresh again! They take their time to make sure that she looks perfect. I have not found another groomer that does a better job. We drive the hour to come to Great Bay because of the amazing work they do. I have NEVER been disappointed when I pick them up! I can’t say enough great things about the staff at the kennel. The manager Kris is attentive, kind and treats my pups like her own. She always keeps me updated throughout their stay if there are any issues. You can truly tell her and all the staff at the kennel care deeply about the animals. Kris never fails to greet us with open arms and all of the pups LOVE her. She always takes the time to hear about my pups special needs and answer any questions I have! She truly is incredible! All of the staff remember everything about our pups, provide them lots of love and take the best care of them. I always see them making sure they animals are comfortable and playing with them! They give my dogs their meds when needed, too! If you are worried about leaving your pups (or cats, small animals or other pets) at the kennel, DON’T BE. I have NEVER trusted another pet place before and I gaurentee you, you will not be disappointed with the services at Great Bay. You may only be disappointed that you didn’t try Great Bay sooner!
My dog - 2.75 year old yellow lab - loves it here!! He goes to daycare once or twice a week, sometimes three times and has been for about 5 months. The team at the daycare are amazing! He always has a good day and is tired after - can sleep for our whole hour long ride home! The photos they post are awesome and let me know what he's doing and that he's having a great time! I especially love seeing him photographed with another dog he knows - they love to hang out together whether at day care or other places.
First time ever we had to board our diabetic cat. I was nervous dropping her off but the staff really made sure she got her insulin shots on time and she seemed to absolutely love the place. We had issues getting her back into her carrier upon pickup because she didn't seem like she wanted to leave. Definitely will be using them in the future and was very happy with the staff.
Boarded our 3 dogs and 1 cat for almost a week twice in one month. Everything went as expected. The staff has been polite and courteous, plus gave me good info when I called for status updates. Two thumbs up!
I have been bringing my dog to GBK for a couple of years now for grooming and boarding and I have nothing but positive things to say. I am always welcomed by a smiling front desk worker and usually my dog loves when she sees Tam working. Michelle in grooming has always done a phenomenal job with my doodles haircuts as well. Also, how wonderful is it when you leave your pet and see a picture of them on the Facebook site playing outside with their friends. We have trusted our dogs with GB kennel in the past years; we don't mind the drive from Manchester, but this last time the experience was awful. We left our dogs for over a week, and only upon bringing them home we noticed that one had developed a very nasty skin infection. There was a lot of pus and skin was literally falling off of him. When we called asking for explanations, the person just said that they noticed the water bowl was being knocked over often, so we suspect the dogs were left sitting in a pool of water, which caused the infection. The dog with the infection spent all the time licking its wound (until we put a cone on him), so it is very hard to believe that no one noticed it. The infection took antibiotics, ointment, steroids and two weeks to heal; considering that the vet is the same compound, we could not believe that no one had the thought of asking his professional opinion, and left us dealing with it after we picked them up; the infection - and the dog's suffering - could have easily been treated by the vet promptly. The total for the stay was $895. After the fact and our calls asking explanations, the vet did offer to visit the dogs free of charge and offered the prescriptions. We were very disappointed with the lack of care on our dogs and the professionalism of the staff entrusted with their care.
Wonderful staff, very accommodating. I have a dog who doesn’t do well with others and they have been able to take care of her still and it has been wonderful to have that peace of mind when I need to leave town!

Beyond grateful that take five offers cat boarding options. My kitty Bristle has epilepsy and needs her medication at the same times every 12 hours so it is hard to plan trips. I’m so happy I can bring her here where she’ll be taken care of and receive her medication. I also adore the photo updates!
Take Five was highly recommended to me as I searched for daycare/boarding for my 7 month old lab. This was a first for me and I was filled with emotions! As an owner of an anxious guy, I was worried about trying a new place to board my Jackson. Due to limited availability over Thanksgiving his usual boarding place was booked and I decided to try Take Five in Lee based on their great reviews! When picking him up this morning I learned that he had a great stay and enjoyed playtime with the other dogs. Everyone there was very kind from check-in to check-out. You can tell this is a place that genuinely cares about animals and enjoys the work they do. Thank you all at Take Five for the work you do. It is very much appreciated!
This is the best doggy daycare around. I have two dogs that could not be more opposite. One is very outgoing and the other needed some time to warm up to both people and dogs due to her past. The staff here worked with her to slowly gain the confidence she needed. The staff always checks in when the pups are out to make sure they are okay. The facility is always clean, the staff is always wonderful and truly love their jobs which shows in their care for the animals. I recommend this place to everyone!
I really love the design of the boarding building putting the dogs in their own pen area when taking breaks. Their outdoor time playing with other dogs and walks. They will accomadate for your specific dog. Communication is great. I felt relieved that Take five was taking care of my dog. I highly recommend Take five!
We love Take Five! Our pup, Reese can’t get in the door quick enough! The staff treats her like she is their own. She comes home exhausted after a day at the daycare and we especially love the days when she goes to the spa to get pampered! We would recommend Take Five to anyone!
Absolutely wonderful place for our Golden Doodle. I would rate 6 stars if I could. Super friendly and positive staff, they take excellent care of Leo every time. We do a couple days a week of doggy daycare and Leo has the best day ever! Also very happy with the grooming services.

This was our dog’s first stay at Take Five. When we picked him up he seemed very happy and not at all stressed out. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful when we went to check the place out and during drop off and pick up. When unpacking his bag at home we were disappointed to see that none of his daily joint supplement or daily greenie were given to him despite us filling out directions online and including instructions taped to his bag.
This was our first time boarding, and we weren't sure how our shy, timid dog would do. But they took her right in and she was so happy. She was actually whining as we left! They even helped us out when our flights got canceled and needed an extra day. We will definitely bring Tesla back again and again. It's great to know we can take a trip and breathe a sigh of relief, knowing she's in good hands. Thanks everybody!
We started using Wag Wagon the beginning of August. Tammi, our dog walker has been 100% reliable. She is extremely nice and a wealth of information. I was home one day when she arrived and our dog was so happy to see her. It’s as if he’s known her for a very long time. We are very pleased and would highly recommend her.
We have used Wag Wagon Pet Services many times since moving to Portsmouth. Tammi is dependable, caring and very passionate about dogs. She has a beautiful way with them, and they respond to her in kind. We recently went away for a 10 day trip and left her in the care of our 2 pugs in our home, was so nice to have the pups at home and she left our home neater than when we left. She also kept us informed about them every day. On her adventure day visits, my pups cannot wait to hop in her car and go. She is an amazing pack leader. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things Wag Wagon and Tammi, other than you need to try her for yourself and see, she is the "BeSt"…….
Tammi from Wag Wagon takes our 3 dogs out on adventure walks often, sometimes several times a week. They absolutely love her and they come back tired and happy. She has also stayed with them at our house overnight when we had to go out of town. Knowing they were in her good hands allowed us to relax and enjoy our time away. We adopted a rescue puppy and, after only having her for 2 months, left her in Tammi Searle's care (of Wag Wagon Pet Services) for 7-days. She had been moved between several foster homes before finding her forever home with us so we were very nervous about how she would adjust. Well, there was absolutely no need to worry! When we returned, she was even better adjusted than when we left! Tammi took wonderful care of her - bringing her on daily adventure walks and trips to the beach. We received many updates throughout the week by text message and video as well as through Facebook. If that wasn't enough, Tammi picked her up at our home the day we left and brought her back home just an hour before our flight landed. I can't say enough about Tammi - she's fantastic and will provide your dog with tons of love and an extraordinary level of care.
It is difficult to add any more superlatives regarding Tammi's commitment and pure love for the pets she is entrusted to care for each day to this review. I echo all of the well deserved comments posted on Google about her. Our two pups are like our children and we feel lucky that Tammi had time to add them to her daily schedule over a year ago. Each day we look forward to her brief text about her visit and the action photo of our dogs playing on Facebook while we are at work. She's the best!

Tammi is professional, reliable, full of pet knowledge for those panic moments - and she really truly cares for each and every pet in her care. Homer loves his "adventures" where he romps with a pack of other dogs on the seacoast parks and beaches, he gets his exercise, a potty break, and to be a dog while we are at work! Tammi has gone above and beyond to show her commitment to our pup and our family, on more than one occasion when Homer had run away from home she came to the rescue within minutes with her own dogs to help lure him back. When it comes down to it, I trust Tammi with my dog more than I trust myself, I cant recommend her more highly!
Hi my name is Barney - I'm one of Miss Tammi's Wag Wagon dogs. I'm too young to have my own account so I have to use my mom's. I took a midnight train from Georgia up to Maine last year to live in my new home. I'm a shy guy who is a little scared of new things - Miss Tammi has been patient and kind with me. I started using Wag Wagon’s services for my goldendoodle just after she was in an accident and dislocated her left pelvis, around 1 year old. Tammi (the owner) was a huge part of my dog’s recovery. We started with individual walks and moved on to daily “adventures” with other dogs. Tammi has also kept my dog overnight at her house for the weekend. She even offered to go check on my dog on a really hot summer day while I was at work. You can trust Tammi and her judgement when it comes to your dog! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tammi Keech has been an absolute godsend to our family since she started walking our Labradoodles! We work extremely long hours and our boys were sitting home with their paws crossed desperately needing to go out until we found the Wag Wagon! When the boys see Tammi pull into the driveway they get so excited because they know that it is time for adventure club! We have a hard time even saying her name in our house without them losing their minds in anticipation of their time with her.
In reading some of the reviews posted by a disgruntled employee(s?), I feel compelled to post my experiences with Kara's Pet Care over the past 5 years. Kara and her team pay very close attention to detail and the care they provide has been without a doubt simply exceptional. I have used them for overnight services, personal dog training (1 on 1) with Kara as well as for dog walking/hiking. There have been times, with last minute notice (family emergency or stuck out of town) that they have provided care for our dog and always seem happy to help. The messages and photos that get sent through the Handlr app demonstrate their love of animals and you know that your pet is in wonderful hands. If there are issues accessing the house or finding supplies they do not hesitate to reach out, which I truly appreciate. There is another level of trust that you need to have when you give access to your pets, (who we consider family members) as well as to your home, to someone outside of your family. Just one example of the top notch care we have received over the years happened very recently. One particular day, one of the dog walkers learned of Bella's (our black lab) love of playing frisbee and went out and bought one for her while on their walk/hike. I could not have imagined such a business taking the time and great care to do something like that! When we hired Kara for training, we gained a lot of knowledge and help with some behaviors that our dog was exhibiting. She has a wonderful, happy and calm way about her that makes you and your pet feel at ease. We had questions about how to respond to certain dog behaviors and we found her solutions really helpful. I also, feel compelled to speak about her integrity and goodness. One shining example is that on her own accord and expense, she recently helped rescue a large group of abused dogs in a shelter in the south and brought them all back to be adopted. She personally took care of and found homes for them. This is truly a good person. You may pay a little bit more for the services at Kara's Pet Care but it is a great value. You simply cannot compare the integrity, reliability, responsiveness and professionalism of Kara's and her team! It is the best we have ever encountered. We have used her company for years and loved them but it wasn’t until tonight that I realized just how amazing a human she is and how lucky our family is to have her in our lives. I want you to picture this scene: we are getting ready to launch our first child to college. We are a hot mess of emotions and anxiety getting her all packed up. Right in the middle of the chaos our puppy got into something she shouldn’t. Panicked, inconsolable, I was sure she had gotten into something seriously harmful. Who did I call? Who was the first person that popped into my mind? Kara Dello Russo. Not only did she respond to my text in a calm, reassuring manner, she called me thirty seconds later. Rebecca at Whiskers Pet Sitting Services was great! My wife and I took a two week vacation, the longest we had ever left our 3 year old cat Buffy at home alone. Usually, for shorter trips away, we'd recruit the help of friends and family to look after our little kitty, but for a trip this long, we thought we'd be better off with the assistance of a professional. Their rates were great, and the level of service was incredible. Rebecca met with us ahead of time to plan the time away, asking great questions to obtain all the critical information she needed. We felt that she was very organized. At our request, she texted us every 2-3 days to give us updates on Buffy's status, including photos and descriptions of Buff's condition. We could tell that Rebecca was very in tune with Buffy's needs, and filled us in on how she'd manage any behavioral hiccups (of which there were fortunately very few!). We strongly recommend Whiskers Pet Sitting Services!
Rebecca adjusts the pet sitting to suit your pet's needs--playing, petting, administering medicine, walking, etc. Takes trouble to really get to know your pet. Will visit more than once if required. Related beautifully to all the successive Cats I had and dogs my friends had. Will also take in your mail, if you're away! Can't think of any business I'd trust more.
I am so grateful to Whiskers Pet Sitting Services (I used their pet taxi service). My cat, Moose, had a urinary blockage and needed to go to the vet ASAP. Marsha came to the rescue and was able to pick him up and take him to our vet. Marsha was so responsive and followed up to ask if Moose was okay, I can tell she really cares and is an animal lover. Kim and her wonderful team at Little Bay have been providing care for our kitty Clio for the past 2 1/2 years now, during our numerous trips away from home. We cannot say enough about them, they are simply fantastic: extremely professional, knowledgeable, thorough, prompt and responsible. All aspects of their services are exceptional, including (and especially) their attention to Clio's very specific dietary and medicinal requirements. Time away from our pets is always stressful, but what a relief it is, knowing that Little Bay is there for us, and that our kitty is in such great hands when we're away (and we absolutely love the regular Clio care updates we receive !). I dropped my puppy to be groomed for the first time. Teri was recommended to me, and I was not disappointed. The first thing was that you could not bring your dog in without texting them first to let them know you were there. I appreciated that they were concerned about the animals mixing being close together at the entrance. Teri came out and went over what I wanted and also recommended additional input that I didn't think of but was great. When he was done he looked awesome. She was able to do everything and he seemed very happy when I picked him up. I totally recommend her and I will continue to use them in the future. Great job Teri.
Love this place and so don't my two dogs. they know the drive to the barn... they know the routine and just can't wait to jump right out of the car... that tells you all you need to know. but there is so much more..... the staff is great! They work hard to know the dogs and they can be so helpful when answering questions. I love that they will take my husky inside when he is too hot... that is awesome. the little husky we have is a rescue and he is timid sometimes, but here... he is Mr. fancy pants and runs around like he owns the place. Folks... you won't find better professional people to take care of your dogs. we have tried 2 other places, and no one comes close. My boys love their school!! Can't ask for more than that... and the last side benefit is they sleep like babies when they get home... pass right out. That is just another way you know they love the Yellow dog Barn! Also love the website and the facebook photos!!
Maverick has been with The Yellow Dog’s Barn for almost 4 years now. He is excited every time he goes. scheduling his daycare online is amazing, quick, and easy. The staff there is out of this world and when Maverick was having an hard time adjusting or needed time away from the big group, Yellow Dog’s Barn was able to put him in a special group. They do pictures on holidays which I cherish. I wouldn’t trust anyone else more with my Maverick.
My dog, D, can be difficult with new people and certainly is with other dogs. The staff at Yellow Dog are so patient and kind with her. I 100% trust them and do not worry after dropping her off at daycare. D is in the Squirrel Group because of her personality and we absolutely love that Yellow Dog has a program like this. My partner and I are so thankful we have a place to take D. I’m also thankful that anytime we have a question or concern, the staff are so quick to help. They’re knowledgeable on dog behavior and have a great set up! We also take advantage of their grooming services on daycare days. We are so grateful to Kristin and her patience level. After a grooming session, D looks and smells like a million bucks! Overall, Yellow Dog is an amazing place and we highly recommend it to anyone in need of daycare and grooming services for their pups. Thank you Yellow Dog for taking such great care of our fur baby!
Autumn is tough to groom. She was matted and She doesn’t enjoy being groomed one bit. Kristen was patient and gave Autumn breaks as needed. She came out looking great!! Thank you!
So happy to write a review for the Yellow Dog’s Barn! They have exceeded any expectations we had for a day care for our dog Franklin. He LOVES going to “school” and some days is reluctant to leave at the end of the day! The staff have all been so welcoming, friendly and supportive. They obviously love what the do and we are so grateful that Franklin benefits from that. We love the photos they share everyday, the enrichment programs and daily reports. If you are looking for a high quality program for your fur baby, this is the place!!
We love the Yellow Dog's Barn! I bring one of my dogs for regular grooming, and she always comes home looking great. Our more energetic pup goes for daycare on days that nobody will be home during the day, and he loves it. The staff are kind to both the dogs and to us humans, and it's so easy to book our daycare schedule. Our dog (Cheeto) had his picture taken for Independence Day and we love it.
I cannot say enough positive things about this place. This is now my second dog who I sent here. My first dog went for 10 years and my current dog has been going for 2 years. Both receive the best care while there. Not only do they actively interact with and play with the pups, they offer grooming services which can be done during the day as well. The staff are phenomenal, they all take a very caring approach to the dogs, letting you know right away when something seems off or when something fun happens (such as the cute photo shoots they do - see attached pic). I also love that they post hundreds of daily photos online so you can see the fun your dog is having while there! My dog is one of the most important creatures in my life - I trust the Yellow Dogs Barn wholeheartedly to provide her the safest and most enriching day!
We love the Yellow Dog’s Barn! Our dog Rosie is always so excited when we pull into the parking lot for drop off! She is exhausted when she comes home so I know she had a great day playing with all of her friends! The staff is always so friendly and provides updates about her day. I also love seeing all the pictures they post on their Facebook page, it’s nice to see what our girl is up to during the day!
My golden retriever puppy LOVES going here! The whole staff is amazing with the dogs and they do fun things to keep the pups stimulated and enriched. It is such a wonderful feeling to see how excited he is every morning for drop off. I also know from years ago with my black lab, that Terry is an excellent groomer and does a terrific job. I highly recommend the YDB!
