My housesit with Nina for Seamus & Catherine was a great experience! They made me feel very welcome and safe, and a part of their little community. The house was beautiful! The area of Meanwood has beautiful green areas where you can take Nina for her walks. Nina was great! She was a puppy when I looked after her, so she had lots of energy (as told beforehand). She did well with her regular routine and she absolutely LOVES cuddles on the sofa in the evening. Leeds is a lovely city and overall my stay felt very homey and I was very happy with the experience.
Luna and Gail are the sweetest pair :) Gail made sure to leave a print-out with instructions for me and was always reachable via WhatsApp to guide me to some of Luna's favourite spots in the hood for a walk and a swim! Luna was also really well-behaved, gentle, and sweet. I enjoyed my time with her at the dog beach and exploring the streets of Uptown/Andersonville. Gail's home was clean, neat, and comfortable. It also offers an unobstructed view of the lake, all the way down to Navy pier. I'd definitely return to sit for Luna again if I ever get the opportunity to :)
At 2 and one-half months long, this was one of my longest sits, and I enjoyed every minute of it. Roan and Galor are both wonderful pets, and two of my favorite. Both pets were super easy, smart and friendly. Roan is really mellow, but loved his walks and hikes. He was always close by when I let him off leash on hikes. Roan was super popular and loves all the people he came into contact with. Galor loved to lie on top of me and never scratches. Karen was a great communicator and very easy to deal with. She left good instructions and always responded fast to my many texts we shared. The house is in a great, central location. I was comfortable and the house was clean and had everything I needed for a great stay.
The owners are wonderful and the house is comfortable and the dogs are very living and low maintenance. Would sit for Nigel and Jane any time.
It was beautiful. Bluey is such a smart, and loving dog. He absolutely loves cuddles and follows you everywhere in the house. Also on the field, he knows where he belongs, when you call him. Kevin is amazing, super friendly and sweet with his dog. We communicated well during tmhis absence.
We had a lovely sit over the Christmas holidays this year (2022) at Fyonna and Pauls home. They were really friendly and communication was very easy and prompt. Scribbles (dog) is just incredibly adorable and it was very easy to take care of her. We also enjoyed taking care of Whispers (Horse)! Going out at least twice a day to feed him in the field next to the garden. Fyonna had prepared a delicious lunch for us on our arrival and after Paul showed us around the house/garden and explained everything we had to do for Whispers. The house is surrounded by beautiful farmland and so nature start as soon as you exited the front door. Also a few friendly neigbors made us feel at ease. We would be very glad to come back again and could recommend a sit to anyone who likes a easy going and cozy sit in the countryside of East Sussex.
