I feel like we struck gold! Like most people we were hesitant when we read "family" however it was the best decision to go ahead with Chris, Jaana & family. From first messages, to running out of time on a zoom call, the communication was great. That followed through with meeting Chris at our house beforehand and all the messages & pictures from Jaana throughout our trip. I felt so happy knowing our cat Cooper was being properly looked after, spoilt and cuddled. The house was spotless when we arrived home, with fresh food in the fridge and Jaana had even made us a dinner to reheat! Honestly went above and beyond. We have already arranged the next sit and would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you guys :)

We were so happy to have Lauren and George look after our cats during the holidays! Lauren and George were easy to communicate with before and during the sit, they took excellent care of our pets, and they left the apartment cleaner than they found it! I also really appreciated that they made a plan to be in town a few days before and after the sit just in case there were any travel issues on either end. We would be happy to have them back any time!

Andrew and Jayne ... AMAZING homesitters. The tribe were looked after and cared for beautifully. All our communications were perfect, the tribe probably didn't notice we weren't there but we were kept up-to-date with their antics, etc. They're lovely people and I do not have all the adjectives to describe just how comfortable we were having them stay in our home and look after the creatures. We are just so pleased that the stars aligned and they came to stay. The house was also cared for brilliantly and Andrew even cut the grass! The sheets were laundered and dried and a quiche, bread, milk left for us on our return .... ah, zeewoi extraordinaire!

Julie took on responsilities beautifully, including some very helpful ones that we did not have to ask . . . she simply kept us notified by text and asked at each point what we wanted her to do. We are grateful and would have her back anytime.

Mark and Donna were wonderful house and pet sitters. I would happily recommend them and hope our paths will cross again! Olive and pickle enjoyed their walks, playing ball and pickle trying to drive the campervan!

Lyn was very clean and tidy and clearly loves cats. She sent sweet pictures throughout the sit and left the house perfectly, even bringing her own towels, tea towels and dish sponges so as not to use mine. I would say she’s not as confident as previous Housesitters hence my self sufficiency score but apart from that she looked after birdie and my house beautifully and with considerable care. So greatful for Claire house sitting over this weekend a very last minute arrangement. Very orgainised and relaxed. Buddy was well cared for and had some great walks. It was lovely to come home to a clean and tidy home. She even washed and hung the bed sheets she has used out to dry! Would recommend.

Catherine was a first class house and pet sitter! I cannot recommend her highly enough. Catherine sent photos of our 2 cats daily, and kept us fully briefed on what they had been up to. Kristine & Mara are wonderful hosts. They were great with communication throughout the whole process and made me feel very welcome.

The house is within a short walking distance to the bus stop and a large shopping center with everything you need.The house is comfortable and in a nice and safe area.

Oliver is such a lovely cat! He’s very relaxed and easy to care for. At first, he was a little shy, but once he got comfortable he was very friendly and would join me on the couch and bed. 

I had a very relaxing pet sit and I wouldn't hesitate to look after Oliver again ❤️

I had an amazing time hanging out with Aka and his pet parent Jonathon set me up wonderfully for it! 

Aka was cuddly, attentive, and chill throughout my stay. He followed me around the apt sometimes, slept in his spots a lot during the day, gave wonderful cuddles, and was quite well behaved on his walks. He’s a gentle friendly floofball and I loved hanging out with him and would 100% sit for him again.   

Jonathon set me up well for the stay - I did a pre visit and he walked me through Aka’s walk route and feeding routine, showed me how the laundry machine worked, and answered all of my questions so I felt comfortable caring for Aka. His Welcome Guide was very detailed and he was very responsive to questions I texted during my stay.  

The apt is a wonderful stay: comfortable, clean, and convenient - very close to MacArthur BART and the lively Telegraph Ave. Everything as described and would 100% recommend this sit to anyone!

Angelica and German’s home was so clean and organized! The notes they sent me about their two beautiful cats were extremely helpful! I appreciated the clean towels and soap they left me. Angelica and German consistently communicated with me through WhatsApp.  It was an absolute pleasure pet/house sitting for them.

Richie A.K.A. Richie Poo is such an adorable and affectionate cat. He is very independent and likes to have lazy days on the windowsill or his favorite spot on the table. Richie and I instantly hit it off. I found myself wanting to spend more time with him than exploring Montpellier. Our days consisted of Richie watching his bird videos on YouTube, lots of cuddling, play time and me dragging my mobile phone charger across the floor while Richie excitedly chased after it determined to catch it and nibble on it. Occasionally I had to bribe him with treats to get him to come in from the windowsill after dark. Over the sit he found many interesting places in the apartment to nap leading me on a scavenger hunt to find him. His secret hiding spot is a little crawl space under the tub. He loved having his head and chin rubbed while laying his head on my leg. I grew very attached to Richie during the sit and missed him dearly after I left. 

Katherine is a hospitable host and provided a detailed welcome guide prior to my arrival. She was responsive before and throughout my sit. I arrived a day before the sit. She gave me a mini tour of the neighborhood and recommendations on places to eat and visit during my stay. We had dinner at the Green Lab which was delicious. It was nice chatting with her and getting to know each other.

Overall I immensely enjoyed cat sitting Richie and would gladly cat sit him again in the future.

We had a great experience this past summer during our 3 months in beautiful Montespertoli taking care of Iris's villa and her 6 dogs while she was traveling abroad with her son Jibril. We stayed in the attached studio that has its own fully equipped kitchen and bathroom along with a private entrance. Iris also generously offered us use of her kitchen appliances and cookware in the main house. Caring for 6 dogs might seem overwhelming, however, we found them all to be very well mannered and easy to look after - and we came to love them like our own. The countryside is absolutely stunning and we found ourselves looking forward to taking the 3 younger dogs for their daily walks as much as they did! 

Iris was incredibly helpful in providing suggestions and guidance for places to visit, restaurants, etc. along with assisting us in language translation.  The villa is in the perfect location for exploring the hilltop towns and surrounding countryside.  We feel as though we made new friendships with Iris and Jibril and highly recommend this house sit to others who might be considering it. Should our travel schedule permit, we would not hesitate to house sit again for Iris!
