Dog Sitters in Dutch Village, CA

This was my first experience with boarding my pet, and unfortunately, it will be my last. We usually rely on family for pet sitting, but this time they were unavailable and needed a professional service. Liz’s Lovable Pet Care seemed promising based on reviews, so we decided to give it a try. Liz and her husband assured us our pet wouldn’t be crated and would receive regular updates and photos. At drop-off, Liz wasn’t present due to an emergency, but we saw the space where our dog would stay and received some initial photos. However, updates were sporadic, and on Sunday morning, I had to follow up for an update. When we got home we noticed he had a sticky coat and a urine-soaked blanket, and his paws were raw and bloody. The vet later confirmed dermatitis from contact with the soiled blanket. We contacted Liz for the medications they forgot to return and at this time they had an opportunity to explain our concerns. We received no explanation or apology. Despite her promises, we saw no proof of the care she claimed to provide. Be cautious when choosing a boarding service for your pet.

We were headed out of town and wanted to work with a local small business for the care of our pup. Liz and Gent were great! I met them on a Wednesday with Athena to do a meet and greet. They let me know what all to bring like food, dog bed, toys, etc… and how much the stay would cost. There are no hidden fees here. I received photos and status updates daily while on vacation. Liz is also reasonably flexible with pick up times. We will definitely bring our pup to Liz’s for all of our doggy hotel needs.

Liz is an absolute blessing! She did drop-ins for my cats and boarded my dog at the same time. She and her husband came for a meet and greet and really took their time asking about their habits and schedules so she could keep their routines. My dog is a little shy, but Liz and her pups formed an instant bond that was so lovely to see. While away, I received photos and updates that kept me smiling. I came home to happy, healthy pets, no mess, and a new go-to sitter. Liz is prompt, communicative, kind, committed and obviously adores and is very educated about animals.

Liz and her husband watched my dog Maverick when he was 6 months old and again at 1 year old. She provided updates and photos once a day and ensures he was kept cool during the hot wether. They ask a bunch of questions to ensure they keep the same schedule for him and make sure they know everything about him to make him more comfortable. He was extremely happy when I returned which is always a good sign. I have to appreciate their patience for my very hyper and shedding pup!

Liz and Gent are absolutely wonderful! I’m so happy to finally have found this wonderful couple that lives nearby, is extremely detail oriented, and best of all they’re total dog lovers. It is very reassuring leaving our dogs with very trustworthy people. They are very responsible with our pups and take their health and security very seriously. We were able to see where our dogs would be which helped ease our minds before we left for vacation, and they were very communicative when it came to any questions we had. We also got updates and pictures to reassure us they were ok… and the best sign that they were in good hands was how happy they were after their stay. I have a chihuahua and he wears anxiety if he’s uncomfortable and he was the happiest little guy after staying with them. I absolutely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a personalized boarding stay for their dogs!

Liz and Her husband are so nice and so knowledgeable about our dogs breed. He loves going over there! It has been so wonderful to find somebody that we trust to watch our dogs!

I had a last minute trip and I found Liz online. I am really pleased with how she took care of Marley. I felt the genuine love and care she has for dogs at the meet and greet. Will definitely be using her again the future. Thanks again Liz!!

Having a new puppy, I was uncomfortable leaving my dog with anyone, but when I met Liz and her husband for the first time with Koa (my dog), they quickly they bonded. That’s when I knew everything was going to be ok. After my vacation was over and I picked Koa up, he was full of joy. I’m very fortunate that I met Liz and her husband. They’re definitely going to be my go to whenever I go out of town.

Lizette took care of our senior 13 y/o maltipoo for over 2 weeks. She send us updates and even gave him a bath before our pick up. She is highly recommended.

Liz is absolutely amazing. I’ve used her at least 4 times and I would highly recommended dropping off your pup with her.

We went on a family vacation and our baby stayed with Kim. It’s was so much better knowing our fur baby Addy wouldn’t be locked in a cage all day like other boarding places we considered. We received pictures every day and she looked like she was having a blast! I would differently consider leaving your fur baby with Kim, we do not plan on ever “boarding “ our Addy again. Thank you Kim your the best!

Kim has been helping us with Gretchen for about a year now! She is so loving and spoils Gretchen to the max! Her 3 precious daughters love our puppy and play with her and give her constant attention which Gretchen does demand!! Gretchen is walked, spoiled, plays with her doggies Willow and Bodie and given special treats! She has the run of their home. She goes for rides with her and is one of the family! She sends me pictures and videos of Gretchen thought the day snd if it’s a sleep over, she sleeps in Kim’s bed!!! We appreciate this family so very much and I know she is totally taken care of while I’m away! Her husband Brandon is there to help in a pinch too and takes great care with Gretchen!! I would highly recommend Kim and her family as they are now a part of our lives and so very dear to Us! Most important, Gretchen runs to them with total excitement! That’s when you know your baby is being cared for and loved!! A very sweet family!!!

Leanne is quite simply the VERY BEST!! Not only does she provide excellent, loving care for my fur babies when I travel, she keeps me posted with wonderful photos and videos so I can see first hand how much love and attention they are getting. They adore her!! And her photos are just amazing -I had one blown up and made into a glass print because it is so stunning. Most importantly, I trust Leanne 1000% with my loved ones and my home. There is no one better to care for your pets! Thank you so much for everything Leanne!!

Leanne is a wonderful pet sitter, and I highly recommend her. My two grown (and shy!) cats feel very comfortable with her. Leanne is an excellent communicator, so I always know how my cats are doing. She takes photos and videos and send texts while I am away. When I was unexpectedly delayed in returning home, she continued her care until I got back. When I leave, I know my cats are in good hands with Leanne!

Leanne is super easy to talk to and does an awesome job of caring for our two cats, Chowder and Neko. She always makes sure our cats are happy and healthy and sends us texts with photos of them to keep us up-to-date while we're on vacation. Thank you, Leanne!

One of our dogs has separation anxiety, and we just got a new puppy, and Leanne has been so helpful with getting them the breaks they need when we need to be gone for longer periods of time.

I don't know where to begin or end this review to share how amazing Leanne is! I never looked into pet sitting, because we do not need a pet sitter. We have a 17 year old cat who at the present time is very needy (attention, medications, etc.) - AND in the last month we had to begin giving him subcutaneous fluids - something I never thought I could do. He needs fluids twice a week and taking him to the vet or having our mobile vet come to do it is not an option, super expensive! So, my husband and I attempted to do it BUT failed miserably! 😩 I was upset and stressed, WE all were! Then I remembered my good friends talking about this fabulous pet sitter, so I looked her up - yes, Leanne. I saw that she was Pet CPCR and First Aid Certified, so I gave her a call to see if this was something she could help with. I immediately felt comfortable with her. She stated this was not something she normally does, but she was willing to come over to meet us and help with the process. On her first visit, she spent time getting to know Starsky and making him feel comfortable. The process that day was a success!!!! And it has been each time she comes over! Don't get me wrong - Starsky doesn't like the process at all, but Leanne calms him, and we are able to maintain a stress free environment. She is professional, compassionate, kind, flexible, punctual, calming, miraculous and a life saver! We are very grateful for her and her services!!!! She is the one to call!!!!

We have only used Leanne's services once so far and it was a great experience! We were kind of last minute in booking, but she was able to come over and get to know our kitty a little bit and learn where we keep all of our pet supplies. Every day, she sent pictures or videos of our cat. She gave her lots of attention including a good brushing one of the days. For our next trip, we will be gone longer and I am confident that our kitty will be happy to see Leanne every day! Leanne is very responsive any time you need to communicate with her.

Leanimal’s is my go-to pet sitter. She is attentive, organized, and really cares about these animals. She goes above and beyond to bond with our dog and spend time with him. She has multiple price point options to fit your needs, which is nice. She gives daily text updates and pictures to keep our minds at ease when we aren’t there. It’s always been a 10/10 experience and I look forward to using her services again in the future!

I brought my dog in for doggy day care and I’m so happy I did! My dog had a wonderful time, he was enjoying running around all day with his new friends. Jackie made sure he was comfortable with the other dogs before I left and sent me pictures of how he was doing. JT Pet Care is a very nice place that was clean and the animals are well cared for. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here!

I needed a really good daycare business for my Setter. My boy is young and full of energy and therefore needs LOTS of space to run. I am happy leaving him with this business because after only 3 visits he already knows when we turn into Jackie’s driveway. He is ready to go before I can turn off the ignition! Jackie pairs dogs well with group energy appropriate for your companion. The property is well maintained, safe and clean. The prices are more than fair and appropriate for daycare and boarding.

We wanted to go camping for a few nights and needed to have someone watch our two chihuahuas. Our dogs have always been by our side and my wife was very reluctant to leave them anywhere. We decided to go with JC Pet Care after reading there reviews and dropping by to see the location and meet Jackie. You get to fill out a profile page about your pet, so Jackie gets to know about your pets routines and habits. Also, you can bring your pets bedding, food, and snacks that they are accustomed to eating. On our trip my wife texted Jackie to see how the dogs were doing and she responded immediately and sent some pictures of our dogs, very cool. When we went to pick up the dogs after our trip they seemed not to recognize us for a second. I believe they were enjoying themselves and did not want to go home. They looked well feed and very happy. We would definitely recommend this facility to friends and family.

First time boarding our dogs and they did great here. They sent pictures and our dogs were always happy. This is a lovely place to bring your "children". JC has a great setup, lots of space to roam, and she genuinely cares about each dog. We will definitely be going back.

Jackie did a wonderful job taking care of our cats for us!! Her property is like Heaven, beautiful and peaceful. Our cats had their own cat house with air conditioning!! I would recommend JC Petcare to anyone looking for peace of mind for the care of their pets!!

We love JC Pet Care for our pups AND our pups love spending time here!! It is truly the best place for day care and boarding when we have to be away from our pups for work or social event. When our pups are going to be enjoying a day care day or spending the night at “Jackie’s Ranch” as we affectionately call it, our pups get SO excited. This place is the best. It is obvious they really love dogs. I don’t know how they keep the place so clean. Our dog is not easy on any level. He does not acknowledge he is a dog. He basically just ignores all the other dogs. He just wants to be with his people. They just accept him as he is, in all his whiteness. We are so grateful to JC Petcare. We have used them for overnights and for over three weeks. No worries; we know he is in good hands.

My dog and I love this place! Huge property on 5 acres with many different play areas. Jackie keeps the place very clean and is so wonderful with the dogs. She is also a veterinary technician, so I know if anything does happen my dog is in great hands. I would highly recommend the place to all friends and family.

Awesome place where dogs can be dogs! Lots of room to run around outside, water to play in and treated like family in the home. Jackie is awesome with dogs and my two girls felt right at home immediately--running around exploring with happy dog smiles. This past weekend was the first time that my husband and I boarded our golden retrievers, Sibby and Luna. We had never left them overnight anywhere. But our daughter was getting marred and for the first time, we had no choice. I saw the pets first sign on Leon and thought I would check into their facility. Let me tell you, sandy and Mark had not only eased our worries. When we drove away from there,we had no doubt that our girls were going to have a great time! And they did I could not be more happy with the care that my fur babies received from them. I would not hesitate to leave my girls there again if I needed to.if you are looking for a 5star boarding facility,look no further.

I have been doing business with Animals first for over a year now. Sandie and Mark are truly wonderful people. They treat their animals with the kindness and care of parents. I have complete access to their facilities and have seen first hand how much their animals are taken care of. Animals first takes care of each and every animal they board as if they were their own. They treat all of the animals on the grounds with kindness and love while providing clean and healthy environments for all. If you are looking for a family owned boarding facility that will keep your beloved pet safe and happy I highly recommend Animals First! They truly put all of their animals first.

I have boarded my service dog at Animal’s First for several years. He loves going there. I don’t take him with me when I go to Europe, so he stays there for a week or two at a time. He always wags his tail with delight when I pull up to the ranch—he knows he’s going on vacation!!!! Thanks Marc and Sandie for taking such good care of him, and giving me peace of mind. I highly recommend Animal’s First—I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

We have left or Malshi there several times. Sandy and her husband are great and really care about their guests. Cooper enjoys playing with the other dogs. Sandy is also a great trainer for dogs with problem behaviors or who just need training. Very practical real life recommendations.

These people truly love and care about your animals. I would highly recommend for all animal grooming and boarding needs.

Terrible customer service! I made reservations and then called kennel to confirm my reservations, the lady I spoke to said I needed to send her a picture of my dogs before she could confirm the reservations to make sure they didn't look like pit bulls. After I sent the pictures I never heard back from her so I figured she didn't like the way my dogs looked. Then two days go by and I am charged a deposit without my reservation being confirmed in any way (No e-mail, no phone call, or text). I understood that if I cancelled my reservation I would be charged a deposit but my reservation was never confirmed and I am now out $102.

I telephoned them and asked to look over the facilities, and they said I required an "appointment". I have never heard of such a thing. I was left with the impression that they are hiding something. After a lengthy conversation, they agreed. I feel that when I want to board my dog, I want to inspect the facility and interview the staff, before I make any commitment. I boarded my dog there, however after turning him over to them, they would NOT allow me inside, to see which cage he was in, and say goodbye. I have no idea how he was treated during the stay. When I picked him up, They brought him to the outside office patio without me. Everything seemed kind of "fishy" to me. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK.

Mark and Sandy are amazing people! Your pet is their priority, and they literally "roll out the red carpet" with themed rooms, grooming and exercis. They truly put your animal first... be careful though, your pet may not want to go home!!!

Animals First is by appointment only. I scheduled an appointment for a tour but when I showed up, I was told that I could not physically see the room where my dog would be staying. They just showed me a picture on a monitor. Not sure what the point was to make an appointment for a tour if there is no tour. I don't feel comfortable leaving my dog there if I can't see where she would be staying.

Today, I just I booked my dog for a weekend at Animals First and cringed at the $48 a day boarding charge, but accepted it, as I thought this was my only local option. They then asked for a $50 non-refundable deposit via credit card, which I did online. About an hour later my plans changed and I asked if I could cancel the weekend stay and see if they could refund the deposit, as it wasn't like I cancelled morning of the drop off. The owner informed me that my data was already input and the card was run. I asked if she could refund the fee and was told this was an administrative fee for putting my dog's name and our address in her system. Which likely was clicking a button to download what I had typed into her website. I'm not saying she did anything wrong and the kennel may well be great like others have written, but if you want to provide great customer service and gain repeat and word of mouth customers, this is not how I would go about it. Oh, I forgot....she has a $1.00 fee for using the Visa card, as if you could not just bury that into the overpriced $50.00 registration fee.

100% recommend Ms. Stacy as a pet escort for you wedding! My husband and I wanted our dog to be part of our big day when we decided to book Stacy for her services!! She’s amazing and worked with us and made sure our fur baby is fully taken care of on our big day!

My 2 wiener dogs absolutely love boarding with Stacy! She was quick to respond to our initial request and scheduled a meet and greet right away. She spoiled them on their first stay with sunning by the pool and trips to get pup cups! They are able to walk around in large spaces but they mostly love to cuddle. She takes in one family at a time, so I know that they are well taken care and safe with Stacy. She provides constant updates via text, pics and videos. We highly recommend her services!

Stacy took the most incredible care of our two dogs for our wedding weekend in Temecula! She is the sweetest human and it was a blessing to find her. She is professional and communicative. It is obvious the dogs love her and feel comfortable with her. She went above and beyond, and I recommend her 1000% for boarding, daycare, and wedding attendant services!

We used Stacy a couple days for”drop ins” for our dog. She came to our house, fed, walked our dog, played with her…. Gave her love and attention! While we were away we received text updates that she had come by along with fun photos and videos! We even had her check on our Leopard Ghecko! 🤣 Poor thing! Stacy is very professional, very prompt and is all about making your pet happy and loved while in her care! I 100% recommend her to anyone needing dog care services! I love Stacy’s Wags n Wiggles! My family and I don’t feel comfortable having to leave our pup at times but when we have had to I only feel comfortable leaving her with Stacy! Stacy is the best! My dogs loved her right from the start! It was so hard finding someone who is knowledgeable in giant breed dogs. I tried a few other people before finding Stacy and now I never have to worry about them when we are away! That takes a lot of stress off the fam so we can have some relaxing time away. She’s punctual and has great communication so you never have to wonder how they’re doing… plus you get sweet little picture updates! AND she doesn’t mind all the slobber! We HIGHLY recommend her! Julie has dog sat for our fur babies for 10 plus years! I could not imagine leaving them with anyone but loving kindness pet care! We travel as much as three weeks to a month at a time and our dogs have always acclimated to and from staying with her beautifully! For our pups, it’s as if they’re going away to camp. They see us packing them up and they get so excited to be going over to Julie’s! You won’t find a more loving and caring person to care for your pets.

We were scared to leave our doodle pup for the first time, but Julie did an amazing job! Pups stay in her HOME... which is immaculate and odor free. We received regular updates and photos, and he had a blast playing with her doggie. We will absolutely use her again!

Wow! I want to share my experience, Cassidy is amazing, we called her to watch our German Shepherd for 5 nights (overnight stay) My dog loves her. She’s a phenomenal person and trustworthy, I would never call anyone else. I also have booked Cassidy for daily walks, she keeps me posted, updated and sends me pictures and reports of how he’s doing, and let’s me know when she arrives and when she leaves. Communication is key. I found my amazing pet sitter and now I can go to work peacefully or go on a long vacation with piece of mind my dog will be taken care of. Her service price is very affordable too. I give Cassidy 10 stars and highly, highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed!

Cassidy and team are extremely professional, punctual, thorough, and caring! Our pets are our babies and we’re very picky about who watches them. From the first meet and greet I felt comfortable knowing our pets would be in great hands. Our dog is on the aggressive side with other dogs and wears a muzzle on walks. Cassidy assured us of her safety procedures when on walks and we felt safe having her care for our pup. Our cat is young and usually very shy with strangers. Within 2 days, he was coming out for pets and treats which is a testament to how great they are with pets. I loved receiving pictures and updates at each drop in during our vacation. We will definitely be returning customers!

We are happy we found Cassidy's Services to watch our 2 cats. Our cats are super scared of strangers and hid every time the sitter came but it was great to get daily updates and know their needs were met. I panicked one evening when the cats hadn't come out of hiding all day and Cassidy didn't hesitate to make another trip to check on them and reassure me. They have always been scared of strangers; she was very patient with them. Visits can be scheduled online within time windows so we knew when they would arrive each day. Very reliable and we will continue to use her services in the future!

We have been looking for a reliable pet sitter for years and got a referral for Cassidy from a friend. We’ve used her a few times for out of town trips for our 2 dogs and have nothing but great things to say about her. She’s professional, accommodating, friendly, so wonderful with the dogs and great at communicating with us when we’re away. On our last trip, one of our dogs needed a little extra TLC and there were a few accidents in the house and she was so great about taking care of it. We love her and highly recommend her!

Cassidy is such a rockstar dog sitter! She and Nicole took the time to come do a meet & greet with my dogs to get to know them and then came for 9 days while I was out of the country. I had gotten a new dog so she adjusted her schedule to come visit my doggies 2x per day to help with their anxiety. She worked with them and played games and kept me updated with details and pics the whole time. It really made me feel much more comfortable about leaving them while I was gone. She’s kept them again since then, and she’s so professional and knowledgeable about pups! Not to mention, she’s easy to communicate with and overall so kind! I am thrilled to have found her to trust keeping my dogs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ines is the best Petsitter I’ve used over the years. She is very responsive, reliable and took photos and videos of my bird which made me feel at ease leaving a young bird in her care. The cage was spotless and the outside plants were watered. Ines went above and beyond to provide excellent pet care. Great service! Ines came to my house and cared for my 4 dogs. She feeds them, cleans up after them, gives meds, and plays with them. Every time she comes to the house she texts an update and sends pics! I didn’t have to worry at all about my babies!

What, oh what can I say about her pet sitting business!!! She is an absolutely lovely woman. I never, ever fear leaving my dog with Inez. Mick goes nuts when the car turns off the Main Street and heads into her neighborhood!!! I can’t control him on his leash.....he just loves Inez, her 🏡 and her other pets she takes care of!!!! I am not sure how she does it all. Mick (our Maltese) would surely rather live with her!!! She also takes care of pets in their own homes daily when their owners are at work. Really not sure how she feeds, walks, plays with all these pets. I can NOT recommend Inez high enough. I will just let my dog, Mick, give the recommendation!!!🦮🐶🦴🦴💕💕

From the day we meet Ines, both my husband & I knew she was a perfect fit to watch our Booboo kitty while we were out of town. Ines sent us messages of how kitty was doing along with pictures. We will definitely be using her services next time we go out of town and need a sitter for our little guy.
