I haven’t met them in person but communication was great and their house is easy to find, very cosy and beautifully furnished (: Barnacle and Lucy are very easy to care for and loved playing. Zoe made our first pet sitting a really easy experience, she was really welcoming when we got there and made us feel completely at home. She sent loads of videos on how to feed the animals beforehand, so much so that we felt like we already knew what we were doing when we got there. Looking after Gloria the pig and the piglets wasn't arduous at all, they were really fun to be around, though Gloria is definitely the boss of the place! The chickens followed us whenever we called them (sometimes at great speed) and we spent much time with Charlie (one of the cats) asleep on our laps. Zoe and Nic's house is an amazing place to stay, it's a really fun house that they've put a lot of love into designing. There's a pool table, pinball and swimming pool in the summer. And some lovely walks on the surrounding hills. Would love to sit there again!
First and foremost, Jonny and Niko are such thoughtful hosts! They asked us to come a few days before the sit to settle in and get acquainted with, little did we know they were having a dinner and we got to meet all the neighbors, lovely surprise bonus! The home is gorgeous, comfy, spacious and centrally located in the heart of the upper crust suburbs. Easy to catch a Grab, walk to the bus stop, catch the MRT or park your own vehicle. The furry and scaly babies were a gem, and really warmed up to us quickly. Even Edgar, a notoriously stubborn handsome bulldog would tap dance and howl the cutest little howl everyday when it was time for his walk! (super cute & funny!) Magnus loved going for longer walks and was just the sweetest. Misty & Manja are very independent but definitely enjoy attention & rubs on their own terms. Their daily routine was easy & we truely enjoyed spending outdoor time with the dogs on the patio admiring the lush garden. Everyone aligned to truly make this a home-like experience. We truely miss these guys and are so thankful for the wonderful experience. RIPLS💛 Would unhesitatingly snatch up another sit with these amazing souls and their furkids! Shona...how can we thank you! We couldn't have picked a better person to drive our two beloved Pugs from Aberden to London Heathrow for their big journey back to our home in Doha, Qatar. Shona was very organised, timely, personable and kept me updated and at ease during their entire journey. She sent me lovely vidoes and photos. I never worried when they were in her care as I knew at heart she is a true animal lover and could tell she genuinely cared for our dogs. She liased well with our export company at LHR which took pressure and stress away from me. It has meant alot to us to have our dogs (one elderly) treated so well on such an arduous journey. Our dog stayed with Shona for 18 days this summer and it was nice to see her looking healthy and calm on collection. We left our dog with Shona before for various periods of time. The drop off and pick up times are always suitable for us and our travel plans, which is very helpful. Thank you very much for taking a good care of Lola!
I have used kennel in the past and my dog never came out of it looking happy. This has definitely changed since I found Shona - he is happy to leave me and always comes back home cheerful and in a great shape. Shona is great with dogs, she takes them for a long river/forest walks and let them play in her garden once they are home. I recommend this service from the bottom of my hearth to all dog owners

I am so happy that we found Shona to take care of our 11years dog Toto during vacation time. She is a very kind person, has a good understanding of dogs and their habits, regularly sharing photos and videos, so you feel connected with your pet even you are miles away. My Pug chase loves to visit with Shona. We board with her throughout the year and chase is always happy and content when we pick him up. He really enjoys the walks with the other dogs, we know because Shona always sends us video clips of their adventures. Highly recommend her.

Genuinely a five star service: We are absolutely thrilled with the service we receive from Shona at Aberdeen Pet Services, from the very first visit, I had a really good sense of how calming she would be for our highly strung but loving cavapoo. Before we met Shona I was extremely concerned about leaving Hamish with anyone, he is a nervous dog and enjoys being part of a family and being cuddled, we couldn’t even consider kennels for him and by luck we found the perfect solution. Reliable, friendly and extremely flexible, we wouldn’t consider anyone else. Hamish always comes home, happy and healthy, well exercised and well fed, what more could a dog need 😊

Taimi from Archie Cat Care Ltd has looked after our cat, Miso, for the past few months and has been the perfect companion for him while my partner and I are away. Highly recommend Taimi for giving excellent cat care to my old boys while I was away. They hadn’t been left for a couple of years and I was concerned they would fret. However Taimi spent time playing and fussing them as well as performing all the usual cat care duties. Taimi has now looked after our cat Hestia several times and has been nothing short of exceptional. She spends lots of quality time with her, and sends us plenty updates so we don't worry. Whenever we come back Hestia is a happy and well loved kitty. Taimi is also easily contactable and responsive, she has helped us out in a few tight corners when cat care had fallen through at the last minute. She is now our go-to for short breaks. Taimi was fabulous from the start, she cared for our 2 cats at short notice and provided them with every care, playing with them, grooming them as well as feeding etc. we received photos and videos throughout. I phoned at ladt minute to take my dog as I had to attend a meeting next day in Livingston at short notice. He luckily had a space as he is restricted to the amount of dogs he can have. I dropped Minnie our 12year old Yorkshire Terrier off with him at 7am. Picked her up at 6.30pm same day she was happy obviously did not miss me one bit I was very happy with Alan's srrvice and would not hesitate to use him again. His fees are more than reasonable.

Thoroughly recommend Fairways Pet Haven. Renea, Stacey and all the staff take wonderful care of our elderly border collie Maya who has a complicated health situation requiring some extra care. Maya loves going for her holidays and always has a good time. We even get sent photos of her playing with staff. Really reassuring to know she is in good hands. Terrible establishment with very rude staff! I would not recommend Fairways Pet Haven to board your dogs. Let down at the very last last minute and turned away from a very rude and obnoxious women because our dogs recently had their flea and wormer tablets. When I booked over the phone I was advised they could not stay if they were not fully vaccinated as per section 9 and recently had the kennel cough vaccine as per section 17 of their term and conditions. "KENNEL COUGH vaccine is not required by Fairways Pet Haven. For the safety of all our guests we will not accept a dog that has had the kennel cough vaccine less than 3 weeks prior to boarding". Which i agreed to and advised that none of my dogs have received. So to then just turn them both away when they were due for drop off because they recently received their flea and wormer tablets is outrageous!!! If this is the case you need to be clear with potential customers and seriously think about updating your terms and conditions. Thankfully our dogs were accepted elsewhere last minute with no issues at all by friendly and inviting staff.

Can’t recommend these kennels highly enough. Our two dogs (one of whom is highly anxious) loved going on their ‘holidays’ to Fairways. Renae and her team are amazing and both the dogs always came home happy and relaxed which meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday. It’s the only kennels we have used where both dogs repeatedly trotted in happily. Sadly we moved from the area so can no longer use their service and I haven’t yet found a kennel that comes close to Fairways.
A home away from home for our fur baby. The girls here are great with the dogs. Our little fur baby girl first time at doggy day care and was taken care of brilliant and she got on like a house on fire with the girls....no hesitation to put our fur baby here for day care or boarding
Took Millie for a visit before we go on holiday. It is her first time in kennels. The place is amazing and staff are great, very helpful. Millie enjoyed a good sniff around. I feel quiet confident leaving her at Fairways Pet Haven!!

Our dog Toby has been going regularly for around 2 years now and we wouldn’t put him anywhere else, he loves it and always comes home super happy (and tired), Mark and the team are always so friendly and nice and you are always greeted with a smile.

I didn’t exactly want to write this review considering that it’s negative but I have tried contacting K9 Care on multiple occasions by calling the phone number provided on the website, I have tried on multiple days and different times which they are open and not a single time did anyone pick up or call me back. Quite disappointed as I was looking forward to leaving my dog with them. On the services that they provide I can’t make a comment as I never had a chance to use it due to never having my phone calls answered.
Mark, the owner, has extensive experience with dogs and operating kennels/day boarding facilities. He takes the time to learn the personalities of all his charges and matches them in small playgroups accordingly. It's nice knowing my pup is in a small group and not a giant pack of 20-30 dogs. Since starting my pup at daycare, I've seen a huge boost in his confidence and he's learned how to play nicely and respect other dogs. Highly recommend!

I have been using Elaine for over a decade. She is completely reliable, trustworthy and her love for the dogs is undeniable. My dogs get great exercise and are always excited when Elaine arrives to pick them up. I also appreciate how Elaine always posts photos for us owners to see what are dogs are up to on their walks.
Elaine is so good with our wee dog Johnny. He's a bundle of energy but she has trained him so well and he absolutely loves spending time with her. For us, she is so amenable and communicative and helps us balance our work and dog life. Totally recommended!

Elaine has looked after our boy for 9 years, he adores her, she has the best way with him, her training background is such an asset, she groups the dogs that get along, they have a field all to themselves so no danger of running away and have the time of their lives, Marco comes home thorough tired out, wouldn’t trust anyone else
I cannot rate highly enough the service, amazing care, wonderful love and attention given to Milo our very stubborn and nervous beagle. Milo had such an amazing stay the very first time he has been happy to stay away from home all previous visits he has been very upset but he just loved his time I actually think he qas better looked after and happier than he is at home 🙈 I am so relieved I can book him in for all our 2024 trips as he has found someone who he loves being around.
Can’t recommend Ilona enough. Our Beagle spent 12 days with Ilona, she had the best time. This was our first time leaving her since taking her home. Ilona’s obvious passion and understanding of dogs made our decision easier. We were at full ease during Brandi’s full stay, we were provided with daily updates and there was no hesitation to message Ilona about anything throughout. Brandi misses all of her new friends, and is excited for her next visit.
Ilona is amazing. Loki is a bit of an anxious dog and I am so glad that he is more than happy to be left at Ilona's care. Her lovely dog, Choco, is also an amazing as he gets along with Loki just fine. I am always confident that my dog will be always be looked after. He gets lots of plays and cuddles too so I have no issues leaving him under Ilona's care whenever we go for long holidays. Highly recommend Woof woof Wonderland!
I am the owner of a reactive miniature schnauzer Dexter. At our first “meet and greet” at Ilona’s house our dog liked her straight away and I felt confident that we could leave him with her. He stayed for a week later that month and Ilona was great. She kept in touch with photos and messages and I could see he was having a good time and was quite settled. She is very kind and caring and quite clearly loves having dogs to stay. I will definitely contact Ilona again and highly recommend her xx

I was at The Boarding Kennels recently, dropping a client's dog off and I was lucky enough to see inside of the kennels and some of the space they have to let the dogs run around and have fun in; the conditions were good although there were a lot of dogs all very close together (with the barking that goes along with it) so if you have a dog of a nervous disposition then perhaps The Boarding Kennels isn't the right place. The staff were nice and the prices seem fair so all in all a very decent place for your (boisterous) hound.
Outstanding service. We have tried lots of kennels but this is the only one where our dog is really happy. They truly care and my dog is absolutely happy too see them when we return. Katy is an angel. Thank you so much for your brilliant service . The happy parents of Tücsi
I was supposed to leave my dog for two weeks with them in May but because of this pandemic my holidays have been cancelled so I enquire what’s happening with the deposit I paid if it’s possible to transfer it because it’s a global issue and most people are able to get vouchers or transfer things but from this place I was told that deposit is non returnable and non transferable and that they are helping out NHS staff and they can’t help me. Well sorry but please stop using NHS staff as an excuse because I work for NHS myself and I am absolutely discussed with your attitude towards me and your communication. I will never put my dog into your care and I will never recommend anyone else to do that.
Rosie the Cockerpoo spent a week here end of April into May. I was really impressed by the care given by the team here, Rosie returned to us a happy healthy dog. We, will definately use the Kennels again.

Just picked our greyhound Paddy. He has been very well looked after at the kennels, so chuffed with this place and we will definitely be using again.
We had our little girl here for 10 days and she has come back a bit of a different dog, not herself, nippy so not sure I would make use of them again.

Jen was recommended to me by another cat sitter. She was fantastic with my cat, Milo while I was away on a 2 week holiday. I received daily updates and photos. Milo was spoilt rotten and enjoyed getting cuddles.

Jan always provides a great service. My cats are always very happy when I return from a trip and I can relax when I'm away from home knowing that they are being well looked after.
Had not boarded my cat and ferrets here for a few years and was surprised to see how run down the place looked this time round. During the handover, the lady did not know what to house my 2 ferrets in or what to feed them and I was unhappy that they did not have accommodation ready for receiving them. I offered to take them through and get them set up after she also said she wasn’t used to ferrets but she declined. I did not feel confident leaving them but was dropping them off on route to my holiday and so felt committed to doing so. On return, I was advised my female ferret had passed away but was assured that there had been no problems during the stay but on returning home, my male ferret was so thin and emaciated that he was falling over and unable to stand up. I took him to the vet and they advised that he had either not been fed or had been fed the wrong thing. Very distressing experience and I would not recommend this place and will not return.
I don't even know where to start... When we dropped our cat off there was no one there to receive us, we were waiting for around 20 mins. The receptionist was cold and uninterested. A week later when we came to collect, again we were left waiting half an hour for an employee to arrive and a further 15 mins waiting for said employee to retrieve our cat (it seems like the cats are left unattended when there's no customers). We were then told to come through to the enclosure, as our cat was refusing to come out. We were shocked to see the poor conditions our cat was being held in. It was a cold concrete floor with no bed or food visible, only a dirty litter tray. There was a cat flap into the 'kennel' where any other cat could enter. Our cat had a new scar on his left cheek and broken skin on one of his paws. Our vet was certain that this was injury caused by another cat. This is not a pet resort but a pet prison! Our cat was crying out, hissing and hiding behind the door. When we got him home he was shaky, parched and starving. He didn't smell good, his coat was rough and he was lighter to pick up. We could never recommend this place and we will never return.
I've been boarding my parrot at pet resort for years I highly recommend them just picked up my parrot shes happy as every. very nice staff excellent service.Thanks again for looking after my parrot.
Very upset at how we have just been dealt with. I picked up my diabetic cat from here a day early, once I got my cat home I found out that she was soaked in cat urine. She has also lost over half a kilo in weight and may need to be admitted to the vets later today. The stories we have heard from the owner have changed repeatedly. On initial contact with the manager he said he knew she was covered in urine and was waiting for the heavy rain to stop to use grooming spray on her. Just now he claims she was wet from water she had knocked over. He left my elderly cat covered in her own urine for hours. Not only has the manager been extremely unhelpful one of the front of house staff was rude to my wife. On dropping my cat off, we were told that we needed to pay extra to have her insulin administered, the retort from the girl was “well you are paying for a 5star service”. Rude and indignant. We asked for a refund for the neglected state our cat returned in to be told that wasn’t an option. Overall I have found the whole service to be disgraceful and I would never ever recommend this place again.
We left our cats at the Aberdeen Pet Resort, Peterculter, for a week in April. When we got them home, less than a 5 minute drive, their travel carriers and blankets were covered in fur and urine. Our cats were absolutely stinking of urine too! I contacted the place immediately as I felt that they had been living in their travel carriers and using it as a litter tray too! Only to be told that they were not kept in their travel carriers and they had no idea why our cats smelt so bad! It must been the journey home, all 5 minutes of it!! DO NOT PUT YOUR BELOVED PETS HERE! This place should be closed immediately!!! Definitely not a genuine one star! I would give them nothing but closure!
I am happy to take my cat here. He has an indoor area with a shelf and a small outdoor area. It is very clean. I especially like that there are no dogs here as that stresses the cats out. Nice reception with welcoming residential cats and parrot. He always seems content when I collect him.
Reading these reviews is really upsetting. I put my cat in here a few years ago, and paid extra as it was over Xmas. When I got him back he was stinking I had to bathe him. I wonder now if he was kept in his box. I feel awful that he went through that experience. Lairshill is my go to now. They are very good.
I have used this cattery three times never any problems. The staff are really attentive they let me see the room she would be staying in. We discussed feeding options and what she liked and didnt like. We paid extra for some play time on a daily basis. Your pet will be weighed when you drop them off and again on collection which i really liked. Its a little difficult to find so put on your sat nav. Plenty parking right outside the main reception
The staff has always been friendly and helpful to me, the place appears clean and I see nothing of concern (reading the 1 star reviews). When I picked my cat up last time, my cat was hissing at me, but that's a reflection on him (he was rescued by the sspca and doesn't deal with new people or small spaces) and not the facility.
Second time our cats have stayed here as an emergency and both times they have become ill straight after. We will DEFINITELY not be leaving our cats here again...even if it is an emergency. The place stinks of cat pee as soon as you walk in,it is almost unbearable. We had emailed, agreed and paid an extra fee to drop our cats off late. Upon drop off at the agreed later time the owner decided to complain about how inconvenient late drop off times were for them and had a go at us about it..... yet it had all been agreed in writing and an extra fee paid for!!! Our advice is avoid this place. Nasty smells and awful management
