Such a beautful home in a quiet, clean, green neighbourhood, I felt immediately welcome. Communication was excellent, they met me on arrival and gave me a printed sheet of everything I needed to do to refer to (which was very simple, feed and water the cats, change the litter box, water the plants if it was dry and put the garbage out once a week) along with a good list of places to visit, restaurants and local farmers markets. The cats Phantom and Lucy were very well behaved and mostly slept all day, so I felt quite happy to go exploring during the day or stay and relax in the sunny garden. Thank you for having me!
Lovely house sit! Judy was a great host and at the end of the phone to answer any questions when needed. Her place was lovely with all amenities needed and she kindly left me a gift! Her place is easy to find; about 10 mins to the tube and 30 mins into central London. Gracie and Lupin were very easy to look after! A little shy at first but that quickly changed! Would definitely recommend!
Loved staying with Joey! He’s such a welcoming cat and no trouble to look after at all! Dulasha is lovely and great to communicate with even whilst she was away, and her apartment is in a great location, I felt very comfortable and at home there, thank you so much Dulasha and Joey, really enjoyed my sit with Joey and would definitely recommend! 😊
It was a real treat to house sit for Lisa and Peter at Shelburne Farms. There is nothing quite like the feeling of walking on the farm with Baloo, Huck and Posey all a once. They are a tightly knit gang who mostly ask for hugs (except Huck, he acts as if he doesn't care, but of course he does! ;) ) and doors to be opened. Also, Lisa and Peter facilitated our stay in every way possible, giving and leaving clear instructions and promptly answering any question we could have. They made us feel like part of the family in a blink!
I had an amazing time staying at Moira and Rob's cozy, clean, well-located home in the countryside. Moira and Rob were so welcoming, and Jude and Pepper were affectionate companions to a solo traveller. Jude is a charming tour-guide who showed me many of his favourite places. Thank you so much to Moira and family, Jude and Pep, and the neighbours!
We had a great time meeting Jen and Norm. We found them to be kindred spirits in adventure and fellow collectors of fridge magnets. Their home was lovely and I am in awe of Jen’s organizational skills! Liliana was a sweetheart as well. Overall a wonderful sit.
