Pet Sitters in Dymchurch

Sarah and Julie were wonderful sitters. Their dog was beautifully behaved too. I would not hesitate to recommend them or to invite them back when we go away again. If I could give more stars I would. Sarah, Julie and Belle arrived the day before so that they could familiarise themselves with the girls (chickens) and the house. They quickly picked up the routines of the girls and the house. They were easy to talk to and quick to learn. We shared a lovely meal with them the evening before we left and we felt like we had known them for ever. which made us feel reassured that everything would be well cared for. During their stay they updated us on the girls and were happy to check a few things in the house for us. Nothing was too much trouble. We came back to an exceptionally clean house, the girls had been cleaned out too. The bedding and towels were washed and there was a lovely homemade frittata in the fridge which was most welcome.

Claire and David were wonderful from start to finish. They took care ahead of the sit to ensure they knew all of Pumpkins needs and also to get to know me. If you need a sitter don’t look any further. They are warm, kind hearted and leave you with a spotless home and a happy furr friend. I would welcome them back in a heartbeat.

I can’t recommend Aimee (and Tom) highly enough as house and pet sitters. Right from the start I got a real sense that Aimee is a very intelligent, empathetic, caring and respectful person which is what we were looking for in a housesitter. She was brilliant with our dogs and knew how to get them to trust her from the get go (same as with us!) She was keen to spend some time with us and the dogs before we went away so she could understand our routines, the house and our way of life. She took on board some of the quirks of our house without any issues. She was also brilliantly communicative while we were away, sending pics, videos and updates. She also left everything beautifully so it was a joy to return to.

Chloe was extremely organized and in touch numerous times before the sit. She double checked the dates and times for meet up and finish afterward to ensure it was all convenient for us. Her arrival the day before was timely and she spent lots of time learning the details of the house and pets. Chloe is very mature and responsible in her duties. Her keen eye noticed a medical condition quickly with one of our pets and she had him promptly to the vet. If she had been unobservant or tardy in her response it could have been very detrimental for our dog. She did all the right things. Three dogs are not so easy but she took the trouble to walk them numerous times each day, often taking double the walks as three at one time is a bit tricky. I recommend her for your house sit wherever you live as she is a travel savvy young woman and very capable.

This is the second time Peter & Caroline have looked after our house and garden They have done a wonderful job with all pots and plants looking better than when they were left They were also happy to do some errands and sent us video updates of the garden . They are pretty self sufficient but give us updated when needed and are always responsive to any communications. We wouldn’t hesitate to ask them to sit again for us and it’s great to get above leave your house confident that it will be well looked after

Mel and Mike looked after our cat Lily over Christmas. They were very friendly and easy to communicate with and took excellent care of Lily and our home. Returned to a tidy and clean house. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Christine was absolutely brilliant when she stayed over to look after my two cats for 12 days. The house was left in a spotless condition as we had left it and she provided regular updates of how the cats had been getting on. My very shy cat took to Christine well and even came inside the house to eat which I felt was very impressive! I recommend Christine highly and would love to have her back again to cat sit. Christine was also very accommodating and asked if I needed anything extra doing which I found very kind. Thank you Christine for all your help!

We were using Trustee Housesitters for the first time when we went away in October. It was also the first time we were leaving our 8month old lab for more than a night so I was quite anxious about the whole thing if I’m honest. I left copious notes and asked for daily updates while we were away. I feel so lucky that we had 5 star house sitters in Pat and Andy. They went above and beyond to help put me at ease and looked after both Raya and our house so well. I got a daily update about the lovely walks they were having and some great pictures. When we arrived home Raya was not only in great shape but it was clear Pat and Andy had kept up the little bits of training we’d talked about. The house was also spotless. I really cannot recommend Pat and Andy enough, they are wonderful people who allowed me to fully enjoy my holiday knowing Raya was being well cared for.

Deborah was a pleasure to deal with before she arrived and wonderful while she was staying We kept in regular contact and she and the dogs went on ;lots of adventures and my cat became besties with her too. I shall be asking back whenever she can fit me in. Luckily she also says shed love to come back as often as possible.

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Sophie, Rikki and their adorable little girl, Nellie into our home. They are the perfect housesitters, capable, caring, thorough, organised and just very likeable people. From the initial video call with Sophie, I got along really well with her and just knew that she would be brilliant. She identified that it must take a huge leap of faith to hand over your home and your pets to almost total strangers and go off on holiday for two weeks! Her empathy meant a lot to me. Nellie is a delightful, gentle and sweet little girl and she was very good around the dogs. I believe she and Darcy formed a strong bond. Communication with Sophie beforehand and during the sit was excellent. We had a brief in person hand over before we left and both Sophie and Rikki asked how much/how often we wanted updates, photos, etc. Sophie's updates were thorough and reassuring - detailing how the dogs were eating and sleeping etc., and in particular regarding Elvis' well being/appetite. It can be a challenge balancing the needs and differences between and older, infirm dog and a younger more playful one. Sophie and Rikki managed this well and with kindness (and patience!) towards Elvis. They were diligent about following the dogs' routine and even created their own more concise, easy to use version of my rambling notes on what happens when with each dog. I shall be keeping and using their version for future sitters. Needless to say, we arrived home to an immaculately clean and tidy home and got to spend a little time with Sophie and Rikki and Nellie before they headed off. Do not hesitate to take that leap of faith with this lovely family - they are the safest pair of hands you could find. I hope they come back to us one day but in the meantime we wish them well on their travels. Gary and Rebecca xxx

We could not have been happier with Katrina and Damien as petsitters! They watched our cat while we were away for a week, and were absolutely wonderful to deal with from beginning to end! Excellent communication prior to and during their stay, they took great care of our cat, and left behind an absolutely spotless house. The perfect catsitters! We would happily have them back to watch Poja again 😊

I was very impressed with Thayna and her partner. They looked after my two young German Shepherds which is not an easy task; my dogs do require an experienced sitter. Thayna and Vince managed both dogs extremely well and have clearly created a strong bond with both animals. I was also incredibly impressed how clean and tidy they have left my property - I came back to a spotless, immaculately clean house. I can only highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy, and experienced sitter.
