We had a fantastic time looking after Nellie and Riley at Laura’s home. The dogs were full of energy and loved going for walks through Mile Oak farm and playing fetch at the local park (Riley really is ball mad). They also loved chilling with us on the couch during the down time. Laura welcomed us into her home, leaving space for us in the fridge/cupboards and very kindly gave us a lift into Brighton and Hassocks (when the trains were cancelled). Laura’s house is also in such a good location - the bus into Brighton is just at the bottom of the road! Laura gave us clear instructions when Nellie had a sore paw (due to a stubborn grass seed). We definitely recommend house sitting for Laura!
Ann and Dave were exceptionally lovely and caring hosts and Pushkin was a little sweetie to be with and look after. The house is in a really nice area with access to the moors and some good little shops and a great train link if you need it. The room I was given on the top floor was very comfy, warm and well-equipped with drawers, etc for my clothes and belongings. The garden is very cozy and peaceful and I was lucky enough to be able to enjoy the apples on the tree, some homegrown tomatoes, and a few other yummy veggies. Ann and Dave were absolutely lovely to deal with while they were away, as we organised a few things for the house and generally kept in touch, to just the right amount. They left me to get on with enjoying the sit whilst feeling like we were still in touch too. I fell ill at the end of the sit and they even let me stay on a for a few days to recover. Overall I had a really lovely sit in Burley with Pushkin and this is one of the warmest, homeliest sits I've ever done. I'd highly recommend it and would easily come back. Thank you Ann and Dave :)
*Java is the absolute cuteness in a furry ball. She is a puppy and for whoever’s love the sausage dogs as we do, that’s is just the perfect sit. She’s clever and knows to respond to a few commands already and ask you properly for her loo time. *When it comes to the place, is a well located- closed to dLR- modern apartment with great amenities and comfortable with everything we may need. (Worth saving their place to favourite in the Airbnb app) *Jenna and Jay go beyond kindness to receive us in their home, they are extremely friendly and I Jenna made delicious cake for us! * if you’re up for a tiny puppy time, there’s no getting wrong here 🥰 thank you for trusting your home and furry baby and we’ll be happy to return at any time.
Wow. It was such a pleasure to sit for Leslie and Rick! They were so hospitable and accommodating through every step of the process, from walking us through the house, introducing us to the kitties not to mention stocking the fridge and pantry for us to use (so generous!) and beyond. Tye and Moo were perfect boys! Moo slept with me every night and Tye let us both give him cuddles on our last day which made our trip! The home is unbelievably comfortable we found it hard to leave out during the day. We would highly recommend this sit to anyone considering! #dreamstay
I really enjoyed my sit at Eileen and Bill’s place and meeting Tom, Jerry and Tiger! The kitties are independent and spend most of the day outdoors, but they’re also friendly and will ask for head rubs when they come in. Tiger was a bit shy but warmed up to me quickly and was a gentle boy. They’re all very low maintenance and great cuddle buddies! The house is super clean and comfortable to stay in. Eileen and Bill were gracious hosts and immediately made me feel welcome in their home. They left clear instructions for me and made sure I had everything I needed, and they were easy to reach by text when I had questions. The house is well situated- close to bus stops and the overground and in a peaceful neighborhood of east London. Would highly recommend this sit to anyone!
