Anthony
I was made to feel most welcome into Anthony and Julia’s beautiful home with Minnie and Jojo being just the most delightful company.

Being local to the area we explored the beautiful countryside, enjoyed visiting local cafes and thoroughly embraced having a well deserved rest in the warm and cosy home that Anthony and Julia had left not needing to worry about a thing.

I look forward to dog/house sitting again in the future.

This was my second sit on THS, and it was great, except for one of the worst storms in Bracebridge in years.

Sadie and Tilly were wonderful companions, as we settled into 3 days of being snowed in. Despite this, both pups were fantastic!! Friendly, cuddly and complete joys to take care of. They slept on my bed and somehow I wound up in one corner with my legs dangling off the bed...😆. Such bed hogs... In my profile you will see them acting like lap dogs.. Sadie does not realize her size...😄

Murray and Nancy had everything well organized and I had no problem navigating the storm and the ensuing power outages (resetting the breaker box and internet modem, etc.). I believe I put them at ease, being so far away from home and pups.

The detailed book made taking care of the house and the little monsters very simple. The only regret... too short of a stay. Those monsters grow on you.

Since I was sitting over Christmas, they left me some gifts under the tree, a very thoughtful gesture that made for a fun Christmas morning with the pups.

We talked about next Christmas... if all is well, I will gladly spend another Christmas here in Bracebridge, the town I spent my first Christmas in 59 years ago.

I look forward to seeing them again.

Emma
Emma's home was a wonderful weekend away in the village of Chew Magna. Bess and Bertie were such well behaved dogs with wonderful character. Murphy and Nell were easy going and not much fuss at all. They were happy to keep to themselves or have a cuddle. Emma was so easy to communicate and coordinate with. We definitely recommend this home for anyone looking to be in the beautiful countryside of Somerset. The village is easy to walk to, and it is no problem to get an Uber or taxi to/from Bristol.

We have a great experience Housesitting for Bob and Pam. Skye and the chickens were great pets and we got clear instructions on what to do. Skye is a funny and cute dog that we loved hanging out with. The downstairs apartment that we stayed in was beautiful and clean, and the location was beautiful and so close to town and Zion National park.

We just completed a lovely sit with Cuthbert in Ditchingham/Bungay. He's an easy boy to look after and so long as he's fed, he's happy, so we were free to explore the area and it's a great base for both Norfolk and Suffolk. We can highly recommend the Fleece Inn in Bungay which is only 15 minutes walk from the flat, we ate there twice as we loved it so much! Katie is an excellent host, very easy going, great instructions, available on chat for any questions. She made us feel very welcome in her lovely flat which has everything you need for a relaxing break. If you get the chance to sit here, definitely apply, we had a great stay, thanks to Katie & Cuthbert xx

What a gem of a housesit! Raquel is a pro at setting up her sitters for success and making them feel at home. Hanging out with her three adorable, easy-going kitties was pure pleasure. And her home… gorgeous, comfortable, very clean, and in a prime spot. If the stars align, I’d jump at the chance to come back. 100% recommend.
