Celie and Mike welcomed us warmly to their beautiful “island home” a couple of days before they departed on their trip to Spain. They went through the daily routine and feeding schedule and also explained the household quirks which we found of great benefit. We had a very comfortable bedroom and en-suite. We were left lots of useful information on the beautiful surrounding countryside. However , we felt our time was best spent quietly around the house and garden with “the girls”. They appeared to enjoy gentle guitar playing and basking in the early Autumn sunshine in the orchard. There were renovations being done in parts of the house by Pete and Robin who were kind and supportive to us during our stay. Many thanks Mike and Celie for your warmth and hospitality.
Bill & Sherry are very kind folks. There lovely historic home, set by the sea; is a wonderful destination. Bill & Sherry are very accommodating and understanding. I felt at home immediately, and found the home warm and welcoming. I spent 3 weeks off season in their quaint hamlet of Seaview, with Robbie (The Cool Cat), and Freckles (The Lap Dog) who followed me everywhere :-) We all became best of buddies, with Freckles at my feet, and Robbie snoozing on my chest, I had a heart felt feeling - "I was home". Truly a wonderful housesit, I highly recommend.
Claude and Clive are gorgeous! They are among the friendliest cats we have ever met. Both loved attention - without being demanding - and enjoyed sitting on or near us, being stroked and purring away for ages. It almost seemed like Clive was smiling as his head was scratched! He was the more independent of the two; Claude preferring to stay close to home and the treats! Jojo and Nick’s home is very beautiful - modern, warm, clean and comfortable, with a fantastic well-equipped kitchen. It is in a peaceful spot looking out over meadows, where sheep graze, and then down to the sea - a perfect retreat just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and the coastal path which leads to a lighthouse in one direction and a hamlet with a pub and a small restaurant in the other. Before our stay, Jojo sent us some videos of how things worked in the house, which were super-helpful. She also printed off her excellent Welcome Guide as well as leaving us maps and guides to the local area, which we very much appreciated. We highly recommend this sit with the lovely and loving Claude and Clive. Thank you.
Tiger was exactly how Vanessa and Nick described him! A very loving and active dog who loves people! The communication was great and the instructions for Tiger’s care were detailed and very clear! I felt very welcome by them in their home! The location of the house is amazing and the house itself is so spacious.
I had a trully amazing time housesitting for Leah. I wish I could have stayed there forever. I felt very welcomed and homely at Leah's oasis and the communication was fantastic. Cece and Chaz become my true loves and spoiled me with their attention and cuddles. Trully amazing cats. Guinea pigs were so much fun to be with and fish completed the house with the zen feeling. I would be thrilled to housesit for Leah again.

Adam and Jymal have been caring for my now-senior pup for about 5 years. After a series of dog walkers who flaked out at best and did rather disturbing things at worst, finding Main Line K9 is like finding Addy’s second family. From the first time Adam and Jymal came in, I knew they’d be great: at the time, Addy was fearful of new men, but each of them knocked on the door, showed her their calm presence, and she loved them immediately. While I try to give them a regular walking schedule, my work schedule changes frequently, and they are always able to accommodate me. They’ve also slept over several times and cared for my cats as well when I’ve been away. There’s no reason to look any further for reliable, caring, reasonably-priced companions for your furry family members!
Adam Barr of Main Line K9 has been providing daily walks and occasional all-day care for my two dogs since at least 2019. He and his team are reliable, caring, and have gone above and beyond when there's been an emergency (once for a possible toxic ingestion and another time for a poopocalypse). Here's what the canines have to say: Adam is great. Adam takes me on walks. Adam scratches my ears. Adam is happy to see me. Adam doesn't mind that I like to go fast on my walks. Adam lets me say hi to everyone and sniff everything. Adam always gives me treats but not enough. Adam could give more treats. I love love love Adam very very much. Bandit (10-year-old Samoyed) While Adam does his job well, I would be remiss if I did not mention his annoying habit of forcing me to leave the comfort of my sofa in order to accompany him on his walks with my little brother, Bandit. I can't say how happy I am with the care they provided my senior, anxious dog while I was out of town for 9 days. My dog is notorious for going on a hunger strike when I am gone, and Jymal came to my apartment each day, made friends with her and had her trusting him in less than two days. She ate all her food each day. Would highly recommend.

We’ve had Jymal and Adam walking our dog twice a week for the past year and a half and it has been nothing but good things! They are flexible, dependable, and reasonably priced. My dog isn’t always the most comfortable with strangers (especially men) but they knew exactly what they were doing when slowly introducing themselves to her. She loves Jymal! Main Line K9 has been walking my large dog daily since we rescued him 6 years ago. I cannot say enough about how wonderful, trustworthy and professional Adam is. He is always reliable and has helped us during times when we weren’t scheduled and had emergent situations. Our dog is a large choc lab and he’s very strong and sometimes a challenge to walk. Adam is truly the only one we trust walking him. He comes into our home daily when we are at work and puts our minds at ease knowing our dog is being well taken care of. Main Line K9 is a local small business opened by Adam Barr and staffed by Adam and his friend Jaimal. They are both friendly, personable, and helpful. The business is well organized, starting with an introductory visit and detailed questionnaire on the pet’s health and habits.. All walks are logged in a notebook. Adam is easily reached by text for questions and concerns. I called them primarily for scheduled walks, but they pitched right in helped with extra visits during an emergency. It is a pleasure to work with them. You will not find a better pet care team. I highly recommend
Rosie is absolutely wonderful! She is not only reliable but also incredibly loving towards our dog. Every time we leave our pet with her, we have complete peace of mind knowing that she is in great hands. Rosie goes above and beyond to ensure our dog is happy, well-cared for, and safe. Rosie kept our dog overnight. Our dog can be nervous, especially around new people, but she warmed immediately to Rosie during our meet and greet time. In less than ten minutes my dog was sitting next to her getting her ears rubbed! Rosie was also careful to introduce our dog to her other boarders one at a time so that she could be sure that animals had good interaction and our dog was not overwhelmed. We will definitely place our pup in Rosie’s care again when needed!
Rosie has been caring for my 3 fur babies for a couple years now and always pampers my pooches to the point they don’t want to leave! I feel so very comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she always accommodates me the best she can (especially last minute). When I pick up the dogs, they honestly act as though they don’t want to leave. That is a true sign that they are loved and cared for by Rosie. I highly recommend her!
Rosie has been a phenomenal find! Our dog (3 year old goldendoodle) loves to stay with her in her home when we are busy or on vacation. I wish I could give her more stars if I could! I was so lucky to have found Rosie back in 2020. I rescued my dog Winston in 2020 and was a little nervous finding care for him because he was quite reactive. Big dog boarding facilities were just too overwhelming for him. The one facility we tried, he would book it out the door as soon as you picked him up, just trying to get out asap! Now at Rosies, he runs right up to the door so excited to go in! She welcomes these dogs into her home like they are her own. She's so great with sending photos and the photos I receive always put a smile on my face knowing he has dog friends to hang out with, couches and beds to snuggle up on, and a big backyard to play in. It's so much more personal and home-like than a big boarding facility. As for the negative review, I would fully expect to pay for anything Winston might have destroyed of hers. This is her home and you're taking your dog there knowing that. At the end of the day, dogs are dogs. Your dog could have never chewed anything up in it's life and then just decides one day to chew something! As a millennial woman with no children, my dog is my child. He is my life. And I trust Rosie with him 100%! <3

Hi - I recently traveled to Europe for a week and Rosie watched my 2 Chesapeakes and did an amazing job. One of my dogs is epileptic and Rosie was great about giving him all his medications. I will definitely be using Main Line Dog Care again.

Baxter loves the care he gets at ruff house! It’s a great environment for him to make new friends, and the daily report cards we received while we were away, complete with pictures and stories of how his days have gone were entertaining and reassuring. Even came home freshly bathed!
Ruff House is the best place for your dog. My dog is leaping out of the car to get inside when I drop him off. Once pick up time arrives, he is nicely tired, and happy. I enjoy that they post on social media to see the doggo's in action during the day. The staff is unmatched! Everyone is friendly, attentive, caring, accommodating and always upbeat- and very responsive via email. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a daycare.
The RHDC has been a life-changing experience for Hank and me. Hank is a young, active husky mix I adopted last year (2023) and very challenging as he is still basically a puppy and needs a lot of activity. The day I took him to RHDC for his evaluation was very stressful for me as I was so afraid he might not pass, but he did with flying colors! RHDC is very careful about introductions and makes sure they are safe and as stress-free as possible for the dogs and their humans. Nowadays Hank goes to day care at least once a week, usually twice, and he loves it so much. He is eager and happy when we arrive at day care in the morning and tired and happy when I pick him up. The RHDC is always trying new things and seeking to improve, including a new option to add "enrichment day care" where your dog can get added attention and hands-on activities. Hank loves it! They often post photos and videos on social media so you can see your pup in action. I've also boarded Hank overnight at RHDC and was very happy with the experience. If you are on the fence about trying day care for your dog, please jump into RHDC and try it out! I can guarantee you that you wont' be sorry and your dog will be much happier.

I contacted them to assist with transporting a rescue dog from one home to another. They responded on a Sunday and helped transport her the next day. They were on time and communicated with me the entire time. I am forever grateful that I found this company. They were the only company to call me back and they were amazing to work with. Thank you!
Pet Taxi I used pet taxi to get my dog spayed at Emancipet on Adam's Avenue. Very affordable from West Philadelphia to Northeast twice. Drivers were friendly and didn't mind waiting for check in and check out. I will absolutely use Collar Club pet taxi again and recommend it to friends.
Bree is truly the best! Sadie is our first dog ever and I was so nervous to leave her with anyone when we first got her. Bree was the first person to ever watch her for us, and we are so lucky to have found her! She sends us pictures whenever we ask for them, and when we leave her for the holidays she always gets special treats! Sadie absolutely loves Bree (and almost every time pees on her front steps out of excitement). Bree is super flexible, kind, and we can tell she genuinely loves every dog that comes to The Collar Club!
We hired Bree to house sit for a week in July, with our puppy and cat. Bree was a no-show for our first meet and greet; late for the rescheduled meet and greet; and nearly 2 hours late for the start of house sitting responsibilities. We thought, that’s ok, she is probably just busy. We provided clear written information on caring for the animals and plants. A neighbor texted to say that she had watered the front porch plants as they were getting crispy. I asked Bree if she would like help with the plants, offering that my neighbor could do all the watering. Bree told me that the plants were looking great and all was well. On the morning of our trip home, Bree informed us that she had fallen asleep without crating the puppy, and he had chewed the couch cover. She promised to pay to replace the cover. Accidents happen, we understood, and we were glad she offered to pay for the damaged item. When we returned home, however, we found that the dog had also chewed the rug and destroyed his bed; the dog enrichment puzzles and kongs we had asked Bree to use had not been touched. In addition, many plants were dead, the laundry machine was massively overfilled, and the air conditioning was set to 50 degrees (which could have broken the unit). We were pretty shocked at the state of things. We added up the cost of damage and provided Bree with an itemized list. We asked for less than half of the cost of damages. We heard nothing back, followed up three weeks later, and then received a message stating that we were causing Bree stress but that, yes, she would refund us the requested amount. By the next week, we hadn’t received the refund, so we followed up. Bree replied that her refunds go out net 15 days. We waited 20 days - still nothing. We followed up, and waited another 15 days - still nothing. This is 35 days total. We wrote to Bree that we would resort to small claims court if we didn’t receive the agreed refund. Bree replied that her accountant processes refunds and she has no control over it. So this is where we are. Given the damage and the lack of refund we may have to pursue legal options next week, and we definitely wouldn’t recommend.
We put a $440 deposit down in August to have our dog boarded. Sadly she did not pass an aggressiveness test and owner agreed to refund our money due to our circumstances. Weeks went by and we didnt get a refund even though they said they did it so we filed a complaint with our credit card company. The owner summited to the credit card company their terms of service for no refunds and because we only had text message proof they would not refund the money. We are out $440 and still waiting for them to return it to us
This was the first time my baby has stayed with Bree at the The Collar Club. Normally, both I and my baby have lots of anxiety. But today when we arrived my baby went straight to Bree and acted as if I didn't exist. She had a wonderful time and the anxiety we both normally have didn't occur today. It was as if we had known Bree forever. I will definitely use her services again and will tell others.
Bella is our baby and we changed the reservation twice because we wasn't sure if she would get Great care. Bree is the Best she is so loving and caring with Bella from treating her dry hair and recommending salmon oils to clipping those killer claws and she must of gave her a shower because she slept so good her backyard was full of entertaining for Bella and hubby was pleased I would be using this service forever Thanks Bree 😊🐕

I absolutely LOVE The Collar Club! I’ve been looking for a safe + dependable place for my puppy for when I need day/night care, and they are perfect. My puppy stayed with them for the weekend and everything from booking to pickup was amazing. I got to see real time updates via an app they use, and even got a little report card at pickup time to let me know how he did. Very pleased with their services and I will be returning soon :)

I called Little Characters today and the owner or whoever takes care of the phone calls was very offensive! I called looking to start dog walking services. I told him my needs and he said that what I needed could get to be pretty expensive and he was not sure if I could afford it. I told him he was very offensive and that I wouldn't be calling if I could not afford it! Afterwards, he says well if you can afford it I can do it. That's not how you conduct business! It was very rude and offensive. You cannot tell someone you don't think they can afford something.
I am so impressed by the level of caring the sitters had for my cat. They contacted me daily while I was away to give updates. They took excellent care of my cat. They made it possible for me to relax and enjoy my vacation because I knew that my cat was well cared for. I highly recommend these sitters! I'll never use anyone else!!

Sasha is very organized and extremely reliable, and she made sure my dog got walks on every occasion. I also had a schedule changing week-to-week, and they were so flexible in accommodating my schedule. They frequently spent more time with my dog when she needed some extra coaxing to leave the house. It's clear that she cares deeply about the animals and her clients who she cares for. I hope they will continue to help out with my doggo when possible; the only reason I am no longer able to use their services is because I moved. I cannot say enough good things about her professionalism and care.
Sasha went above and beyond while looking after my cat over the holidays! I received comprehensive updates, plus lots of photos and videos. My cat has been shy with sitters in the past, but he took to Sasha right away and I always felt like he was in great hands. I can't recommend Cutie Paws enough if you want peace of mind when leaving your fur babies at home.
Sasha is an absolute gem. We are so lucky to have found. Her history intake is very detailed, very willing to work with our schedules for the initial meet and greet. She's very thorough with each visit, will readily send us text, video, and photo updates when she's with our cats. Communication is key, and I feel like we've never had any issues with that with Sasha. Highly recommend for taking care of your pets.
