Sheridan visited our house before we left, and we had enough time to show her around and to go through routines. That was nice. While we were away, she sent us updates and made sure our kitties were taken care of. However, we weren't happy when we found out she had invited a friend over in our house to stay the night, without letting us know. It was not a pleasant feeling, being away from home and not knowing if you can trust the person that's taking care of your pets. We immediately talked about it, and Sheridan told me she did this before and never had any problem with it. She did, however, understand my concern and apologized. She promised that next time, she would handle this differently. Just a lesson learned from both sides! When we got home, the house was left tidy and clean, Sheridan left us some pastries and bread for the next day. That was very sweet. But most importantly; the cats looked great!
This was a very good, peaceful, happy, safe, clean and harmonious sit. Kim provided clear, detailed and helpful directions for her fur baby Pudding, his feeding, walks and care for this sit. The home was peaceful, clean, art filled, comfortable and beautiful. I would recommend this sit to other sitters. I definitely would sit for Kim and Pudding again. Pudding is a love bug, peaceful and easy to walk. Kim's house's is located near major streets, you can connect to local streets and freeways easily. Riding the local buses are available too. Supermarkets, restaurants, stores like Walmart, Dollar Trees, DD's and others are in the area close by.
Noelly is a wonderful and caring host who puts her animals first. The guest bedroom was lovely - a warm and comfortable bedroom in a lovely home with everything you need. The mature garden and large conservatory are lovely to relax in, especially in warmer weather. There are nice walks and an award winning pub/ restaurant close by. I really enjoyed the company of her 3 cats, all very sweet with different personalities. I wouldn't hesitate to sit for Noelly again. Thank you Noelly xx
I can't say enough good things about our stay at Desiree's home. We so enjoyed getting to meet her, Carl and her 3 daughters--some of the loveliest children we have ever met. Desiree was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment is huge--more like a house-- clean, very comfortable and has everything you would need for your stay. It is located in a great neighborhood within easy walking distance of the main attractions of District 1, as well as a really big mall with a Tesco inside. And being so centrally located, you are very close to a number of great restaurants, other markets,etc.. It is right on the river and the view is amazing. The building, and the street, are very quiet during the days and evenings. The internet was great if you need it for work as we did . Ziva, Ari and Bella were great company, and so easy to care for. We will really miss them. They all love their playtime, and Ari in particular is very affectionate, and loves cuddles and attention. This was one of our favorite sits for sure and we would definitely come back! Prague is a very special place and we are very appreciative Desiree gave us the opportunity to spend time there in her wonderful home.
We had a great time with this sit. Lindsay was the best with responding quickly and being super friendly and easy to get along with. We loved the adorable trio while we were there and they were so loving and easy going with us. Cat is possibly the most friendly cat we have met to date and Schaefer and Sadie were beautiful and funny to hangout with. We would love to sit and hangout with them again 🤗
We had a fabulous time sitting for Sarah and Chris in their lovely countryside home. From the many happy family photos and the delightful homemade dolls-house with its farmyard garden to the stunningly beautiful rocking horse, who now patiently waits for the new grandchildren to grow up, it is very clear, that their farmhouse is a very happy family home. We arrived the evening before, so we could have a good handover. Having supper together was like catching up with friends, and Sarah’s meal was delicious. We felt very welcome in their home and they truly understand the concept of TH, wanting us to enjoy our time to the full. Sarah’s cleaner was coming the day we left, so apart from tidying up and putting linen and towels in the utility room, we otherwise, just tidied and cleaned as we went, with no final clean. A nice treat. We both fell a little in love with Pluto. His two favourite things are playing frisbee and cuddling up on the sofa with you. He’s not food motivated at all; we ate snacks over his head and he didn’t even wake up. He’s incredibly well-behaved and can be walked off the lead around his fields, with excellent recall. He sat perfectly in the passenger footwell with me when we took him in the car, he can be taken to the pub and will just curl under the table on his rug and he walked perfectly on his extender lead when we took him out to Wenlock Edge; hardly bothering with any of the many other dogs. Smarty is a beautiful horse and a real gentleman. He’s strong of course, but is very well-mannered and a lovely character. He made me laugh pulling some great faces and enjoyed muzzle kisses and gentle nostril puffs, as most horses will. He came in from the field without any drama and was well-behaved for me when getting his headcollar on and off, either in stable or field. The bonus pet was finding they have a feral cat, although I only got a glimpse of her late in the evening of our arrival. I’m cat mad, and I was comforted seeing her biscuits had been eaten each day. This home is in a beautiful part of the country with some lovely people and very well-mannered pets. A truly lovely sit which I’d highly recommend.
This was the perfect place for a quiet retreat! Van's place was set in a cozy nook with birds singing and two very sweet kitties! It was truly a delight getting to spend some time here. Van was a great host and very considerate towards me.
