This was our first time having a sitter through zeewoi. Before this, it was always someone we new personally. As pet/homeowners here on the site will attest, it is a little nerve racking taking the first step. But as soon as we did a video call with Sameer, we felt more comfortable with the idea. A couple days before the trip, Sameer offered to come at feeding time and walk through the routine with us, see the lay-of-the-land, and meet the menagerie. We felt completely at ease once we met him, with his calm energy and sincere thoughtfulness. There is quite a bit to cover with this many animals, but between the "Welcome Guide" and our own at-a-glance list, and any mental notes or paper notes that he took, he seemed quite confident that all would be just fine. Sameer texted a few pictures where we could see that the dogs and Sameer were fast friends. And if anything seemed out of place, he would ask. Sameer texted a photo of Moose trying to see if he could get away with laying on some off-limits furniture (and Moose knows this). He texted the question, "is this allowed?" We had a good chuckle. Sameer, went above and beyond and walked the three dogs daily. There was about an hour overlap from the time he had to leave and when we got home. Upon our arrival home, everything was clean and in place, with a nice "welcome home" note and list of what had been taken care of that evening before he left. He even washed the sheets and made the bed up! That was especially nice since we arrived home later in the evening. We would enthusiastically recommend Sameer to zeewoi members! Christine and Jenna
Melissa & Dan were great house & pet sitters for us. They adored our pets and cuddled with all of them. They enjoyed the neighborhood and took part in Halloween festivities. It was great having a vet tech (Melissa) be there for our pets. They left the house cleaner than they found it. They were great with communication, sending cute pictures of the pets, and being flexible when we had a flight delay. I highly recommend them for your pet and house sitting.
