Eddy exceeded expectations. I mistakenly set the arrival day a day late, but Eddy graciously adjusted his schedule and arrived promptly. If you have an energetic dog, Eddy is an ideal choice as he is highly active himself. He took Ziggy out for thorough exercise, fulfilling exactly what Ziggy needs. Throughout our trip, Eddy maintained clear communication, providing peace of mind knowing our animals and home were in safe hands. I wholeheartedly recommend Eddy and would be thrilled to have him sit again whenever he's available.
Theresa was wonderful. She was a great communicator, clearly loved the pets so much and left the house in beautiful condition. I would have her back happily anytime!
Leslie and her dog Benny stayed at our house for almost a month. I was unsure how our cats would do since they haven’t had a dog in the house for a couple of years. However, Benny is so mellow that one of our cats totally bonded with him. Leslie was a great communicator and left the house in great condition. I would strongly recommend her - and we hope she returns!
Hosts: Melanie and Bob were great hosts. They provided detailed information about the pets and the home. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. The bedroom and living area were comfortable. They both were great with communication and provided cell numbers for check-ins and questions. They were responsive and supportive to us before and during the sit. Location: Historic well maintained community with many activities within a walks distance. We enjoyed the beach, farmer’s market, coffee shop, brewery, fish house, and museums all within a few minutes walk. We felt safe and enjoyed the beautiful walks and sunsets. Home: Melanie and Bob’s home was very clean and accommodating making it a pleasure in which to spend time. The yard was secure for Scout to play and the neighbors were welcoming. We had room to work, eat, relax, and enjoyed our stay very much. Dog: Scout is a sweet girl who loves her walks and treats. She warmed up to us right away and kept us company while watching TV and at night in our room. She loved to take long walks and play ball in the yard. Scout rarely barked at home and was friendly with others on our walks. She loves pup cups from the coffee shop. Cat: Razzel “Razz” was a little shy at first and isn’t one for being picked up or cuddled. However, once she gets to know you she loves to lay on your lap and get pets. We enjoyed petting her and hearing her purr. She has been through a lot in her life but she doesn’t let that keep her from giving her loves. Listing: The THS listing and pictures were accurate and honest. After the Zoom meet and conversations after, there were no surprises upon arrival. The home and surroundings were better than described and we were provided printed detailed instructions. As a lover of history and quiet neighborhoods, this was a perfect place to visit. Reflection: We highly recommend this location for people loving to walk, visit, and enjoy the coastal environment. It was close to may amenities within walking distance, and just a short ride to all the amenities of town. Scout and Razzel were angles and Melanie and Bob were welcoming and appreciative.
What a special housesit this was! It was an absolute joy to sit for Alana and Wes. They are a lovely couple with the cutest pets. I immediately fell in love with Chula, Kali, Hendrix, Basil and Sage (Sage was a bit shy for the first few days). Chula and Kali have easy routines and just love getting cuddles! Hendrix kept us amused, everytime we looked at him - he was in a wild sleeping position. The flat is in a lovely location and close to pretty much anything you'd want to see in Vienna.
