Brooks has a large, comfortable house with a gourmet kitchen. We appreciated being able to cook in such a beautiful space. Because of its location, you pretty much have to drive everywhere, though we did enjoy a nice walk to the local dog park. We took the opportunity to explore downtown Lake Oswego a bit, and there's a nice grocery store nearby. Ike and Ruby were real cuddle bugs always ready to jump in your lap for some ear scratches. Brooks is a good communicator and an excellent host.
Kristie’s home was a wonderful stay- Gnocchi, Ivy, and Hugh were the most easy going pets! Kristie left clear instructions. Gnocchi and Ivy shed a lot so I tried to swiffer pretty frequently during my stay. Kristie had all the kitchen amenities you could ask for. The back porch was a lovely place to hang out during the day and the pups enjoyed sitting out there too. Hugh likes to hangout by the door so you have to make sure he doesn’t try to sneak out. Gnocchi and Ivy we’re very flexible with bathroom breaks as I work 8 hours in person in Atlanta. They are very happy dogs and just love short walk, treats and being around people! Would happily sit for them again!
What a wonderful sit. Caring for Peanut was a joy- he is one of the sweetest cats we have ever met and we fell in love with him very quickly! Very easy to care for and hilarious to play with. Maddi was excellent with communication from the beginning and had created an amazing and very thorough welcome pack which was great! The flat is really beautiful and had everything we needed. Anyone who gets to take care of Peanut is a very lucky sitter indeed! 🥜
Diba and Calvin are such a fun couple. We met at their home and they showed us around, met the kitties, got their instructions. We went out to eat at one of their favorite places, yummy boat noodles, which we hadn't tried before. Their home is very comfy, very secure, has a pool. Diba was kind enough to ask around her friends and get me a recommendation for a tattoo shop & a pharmacy, which worked out very well, we saved a lot of money! The kitties, Hobbes & Somtami are so different! Hobbes is very friendly and playful, Somtami is more discerning to start with, but she got used to us shortly and we all had fun playing, and watching them play with each other. We really loved Bangkok, and their neighborhood, we can highly recommend this sit!
We had a lovely 3 weeks with Louise and Andy's wonderful dogs and cats. All of the animals have lovable personalities and get on with each other famously! Rosie and Oscar walk really well both on and off lead, and evenings were extremely cosy with all of animals keeping us company in the lounge. The house is very comfortable and easy to look after, with the added bonus of a hot tub and being surrounded by woodland 😊 Andy and Louise were very welcoming, and made us feel at home from when we arrived with a wonderful supper. We particularly miss evening snuggles with Jerry, their glorious white cat.
Kristina’s place was like a slice of heaven. I would house sit here again in a heart beat! Her house was clean and in a safe neighborhood. Her communication was great and I loved taking care of her garden and chickens. Her place is also close to the airport and downtown. Kristina also gave me lots of great advice for exploring Idaho. She’s a very kind person who wanted to make sure I had a good time during my stay. Would recommend!!
