Renata was wonderful! I felt totally comfortable leaving my beloved creatures in her care. She sent regular pictures and updates while we were gone and I could tell she was bonding with my animals and taking good care of them. I came home to a clean house and happy pets. Thanks so much!
We had a fantastic week looking after Snoop and Zola. They were both very affectionate, although Zola was quite nervous at first. Snoop loved his walks, in the beautiful, local countryside, and especially chasing balls. We were made very welcome and had everything we needed. The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Communication was good, and when there was a boiler problem, it was quickly sorted out. We'd be happy to pet sit again!
Kristen is a fantastic host. This was my first bird sit and Mojo and Oscar are very sweet birds. Thanks for a great stay!
Five stars for Chris and Barbara. Chris and Barbara have a lovely home in a fantastic neighborhood in Chicago. The home is very safe and secure and 1/2 block from buses and great restaurants. Their two doggos are very easy to take care of, well behaved, and oh so cute! They left great instruction and always responded quickly when asked questions. This was a great sit and would do it again.
Maria and her family are an absolute delight and were the perfect first experience with Trusted Housesitters. Dave is the most pleasant, gentle, fun-loving dog I had ever met, and I really enjoyed my time with him. He absolutely loves being groomed, and will happily lay with you just for the company. Dave and my Assistance Dog, Earle were fast friends and I never had a worry about them getting along. Dave is happy go lucky, and is as goofy as can be. We took some short car trips with Dave for a bit of adventure, though he is just as happy staying at home to mind the homestead. I never felt I had to take him or that he would be bored left on his own. He did look forward to whatever treat Earle and I brought back for him. There was really not much work to be done with either Dave or the outdoor cats, Oreo and Neo. Just feed them, keep them safe, and give them love while their people were away. This was my first time in Kilkenny and I enjoyed that the home was rural and quiet. I could easily drive to Kilkenny Town, New Ross (Kennedy Homestead was nice, but the Kennedy Arboretum was spectacular), Waterford, and Tipp all in just under an hour. I found the most amazing neolithic doleman just ten minutes down the road! Walking through the agricultural college 15 minutes away, Carrick-on-Suir and the Blue Ways were all near enough. You would definitely want a vehicle, but otherwise the location is a great for a mix of quiet days at home and daytrips. I can't say enough about how kind, welcoming, communicative, and thoughtful the family is. I look forward to going back again. I miss Dave.
We spent couple of days looking after Felipe, and it was really nice. Felipe has a unique character, he loves a cuddle, but keep it short, as he also need his space. Felipe doesn’t need long walks and mostly don’t like it, he will pull you back home, really easy to take care of. Daniela is super nice and friendly, she answered all our questions and made sure that we’ve knew everything about Felipe’s manners, so the communication was great (she even talked to us in Brazilian portuguese!). The home is really nice and well located in Wimbledon area, in front of the bus station that can take you to the trains/metro station (faster way) or go directly to central London (slower, but you can enjoy a city tour). The house is complete, with everything you’ll ever need, we recommend this stay without any doubt. Thank you Dani, for welcoming us 💚
This was our very first THS sit, and Aaron and Maggie did not disappoint. There home was beautifully decorated, super clean, organized and uncluttered. The overall ambience was peaceful and calm, which we truly appreciated. They were both very responsive and communicated clearly. They were simply very gracious hosts. Miss Kaya was an absolute Gem! Such a sweet and calm girl. We enjoyed all of our time with her. She loved snuggling with us on the couch watching TV and having coffees in the morning, and belly rubs! Turns out she can sing as well, lol. She was so polite and kind hearted to our little Bean, never anything but welcoming to her. Our pup really enjoyed Kaya, they simply enjoyed being in the same space and hanging out in the fenced in yard. Kaya walked very well on walks, and took her treats so gently. She also enjoyed playing ball and tug of war outside. At feeding time, she had amazing manners! The guest room and bath were beautifully prepared, very clean, colorful and comfortable. We felt like we were checking into a retreat, not a home. Thank you Aaron and Maggie for sharing your girl, and your beautiful home.
