With no pet sitting duties currently, this is a prime house sit for anyone looking to spend long days out exploring Albuquerque, Santa Fe, or beyond. It is a convenient home base that is only minutes from I-25, yet in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The home is spacious, with lots of natural light. And the kitchen is perfect for anyone who loves to cook, as do I. I enjoying meeting Julianne and Paul- they are welcoming, easy going, and kind. Communication was easy. Julianne left a detailed folder with maps and loads of suggestions and recommendations of things to do and places to eat in the local area.
We enjoyed looking after Monster and Arturo, two lovely characters with big personalities. We have never seen a dog and a cat eat next to each other and be such good friends! Our stay was extremely comfortable, we loved arriving to a spotless and such well organised home. The area is great and although our stay was short we much enjoyed a walk around Wanstead park and trying the different foods - definitely don't miss morny's bakehouse!
Brandi welcomed us to a very clean and comforting home along with fresh sheets and towels for our stay. Chewbacca and Simba were very loving dogs which made them easy to take care of!
A wonderful experience looking after Mabel in a beautiful home! Mabel has a lovely temperament, she is full of energy during walks, obedient and will come when called when off the lead, and happy to snuggle up and keep you company when in the house. The house is cozy and comfortable, good WiFi for working remotely, with superb forest walks backing onto the garden. Jan & Duncan were so welcoming, it was a delight to sit for them and I'd be very happy to look after Mabel and their lovely home again.
Kim has a cute little home in Austin, which is fairly close to everything, and her cat, Cosmos, is such a sweetie! Cosmos is very playful and affectionate! She snuggles up to you at night, like a dog would! You will sleep well from that AND the incredibly comfy bed that Kim owns! I would house and pet sit again, if the opportunity arose!
