From the moment we met Terri we felt completely comfortable with her and you could see her love for animals. She already knew the names of them all which to me showed she cared. We had plenty of updates and photos and in each photo we could see how relaxed our pets were. We were happy with how she had left the house when we got back and would have her back any time.
I had a wonderful time sitting Squeak and Ollie! Patt and Jim are very friendly and personable. Communication was smooth. The instructions and welcome guide were accurate and easy to follow. Their home is very clean, comfortable, spacious and well stocked. The neighborhood was peaceful and felt very safe. I worked from their home with no issues. And the cats! They're so sweet and engaging. They warmed up quickly and their personalities were exactly how Patt and Jim described. They were both so loving and playful. I will miss their cheek rubs, head butts, and cuddles. Caring for them was easy and enjoyable.
Ezra is really a lovely dog with a gentle temperament, and it was a pleasure looking after him. We had a lot of fun playing in the snow and he was always up for a cuddle. Even though they were away in a remote location, Spike was communicative and responded as quickly as possible - especially when things got a bit hectic with the cats! Their information booklet was useful for getting the hang of feeding and other care routines. It was also great meeting some people from the neighbourhood. Spike's flat is conveniently located - getting to the shops, pharmacy, transport etc. was easy. So, I highly recommend this sit!
This was my first sit arranged using TrustedHousesitters and a great experience. Sara and her family are lovely and made me very welcome. Sara was amazing in preparing for my sit, even making short videos to demonstrate how to use the oven, microwave etc. It made everything so easy. Her communications throughout were excellent. Gizmo is just adorable. He is an extremely well behaved young gentleman and a pleasure to spend time with. He is easy to care for and loves to stretch-out for a tummy and cheek rub. Sara's home is lovely and clean with a new modern kitchen, there is a great garden including home grown veg and fruit, with some excellent strawberries. The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and there is parking. There are places to visit including National Trust sites, and a small shopping precinct within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this sit.
We absolutely LOVED staying with Bluebonnet! Just the sweetest, snuggly, playful doggo who we are missing already. Kristy and Miguel were very welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable sit. Their home is so cozy, and in a great location close to great food and drink options. Plus, very walk and bike friendly :) Highly recommend this sit and we hope to stay with Blue again sometime!
We had a lovely stay in Sidmouth looking after Poppy and Pheobe. Nikki was a wonderful host and it’s a beautiful place to explore. Poppy does pull a fair bit on the lead and the dogs shed a lot but overall they are really well behaved and the vacuum works well if hair becomes a problem.
Giuseppe, Luigi and Merlin are three jewels! Healthy, fun and very independent. Luigi was a bit skeptical about me upon my arrival but after that initial uncertainty, he became a new best friend: super sweet and always begging for attention. Giuseppe is very relaxed and easy going. Merlin is incredibly sweet and lives in his own undisclosed world! Enrico and Reigen are kind and communicative. Their house is beautiful, very spacious and rich of powerful vibes.
