It's not just Donna, it's Donna and Peter, and they make a great team. After a minor issue the first visit, things seemed to go smoothly this housesit. They were so kind to come meet a day in advance to go over everything in detail. Punkin seemed happy and healthy when I returned, and Donna was excellent with follow up afterwards when I had several questions after their visit. I so appreciated that!

We always love having Mamadou and Polly come and house sit for us. Despite unforeseen circumstances (sheep coming into garden, power outages, burst pipes !) they have been practical and unflappable in their response and we have come home to a house, garden, dogs and chickens as if nothing had happened in our absence. They are consummate professionals and we feel the house and animals are safe and well looked after. The house is always immaculate when we return and I just want to take this opportunity to thank them again.

Helena is an exceptionally nice person, and an excellent house/pet sitter being caring, resourceful and self sufficient. Whisper took to her straight away and enjoyed her lap-time and brushing. The house was left very clean and tidy, the bins were clean and empty, the plants had been watered and the bird feeders were all full. Thank you, Helena, very much, for everything.

Steven & Judith

Steven, Judith and their daughters Rose and Esther were wonderful house sitters. We communicated well from the very beginning and had daily updates during our time away. On our return, the house was beautifully clean and tidy. Judith had baked a delicious apple pie to welcome us home. The girls took on responsibilities for the chickens and ducks as well as the honesty box at the top of the drive. Steven did a great job in the garden. He picked all of our apples that would otherwise have fallen in the windy conditions and rescued our crop of carrots from marauding rabbits. The lawns were also nicely mowed. This had been a rather challenging house sit for various reasons. Firstly, our beloved Rosie had sadly died just a few weeks before they came. Una was therefore on her own so she enjoyed walks and lots of loving attention. Secondly, one of horses, Cubley, developed a sore hind foot just a few days before the house sit which necessitated both Blue and Cubley being on stable rest throughout the house sit. Even though this was an unexpected level of responsibility, they took on the challenge willingly and coped well in the circumstances. Finally, we had been having some unresolved issues with the heating system. Steven showed initiative and contacted the heating engineers independently. Given these unexpected issues, Steven, Judith and their girls were wonderful and took everything on board as far as they could. We are sorry that they had more responsibilities than originally agreed and hope that this did not detract from their experience. We would certainly welcome them back to our home at a time when hopefully circumstances are back to normal.

Andres and Monica were phenomenal sitters! They looked after our two dogs, Nico and Reilly, for two weeks, and from the first minute we felt really confident and reassured. They took such care with our dogs and we could tell how much the two took them - seeing the great form they were in when we returned. Communication was brilliant and attentive all the way through. They also took real care of our house and left it absolutely spotless. They were the perfect sitters for us (also wonderful people!) and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Jeremy and Katie

Katie and Jeremy were so lovely! They stocked up the fridge for us with healthy food and made sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. We got our own bathroom/en-suite and guest kitchen. 

They were super organised in telling us what needed to be taken care of, and had a well thought out instructions to follow in case something was unclear. 

The two dogs were simple adorable- Scarlett was a delight and Ziggy such a beautiful boy. Both had such warm personalities and a delight to take on walks. 

The two kitties were so affection and lovely. Bramble loved cuddles and Kiki was super warm and affectionate. 

The property is beautiful and has a stunning walk through the forest too. 

Overall a pleasant stay!

Great location ... really enjoyed hanging out at Michael's place and with the Bock and Harvey!  Harvey is quite a handful on his walks ... so strong and really, really wants to get after the rabbits, lol ... but very chill in the house.
We had a great time ... hope to stay again!

Enjoyed my time with Loki and in Morgan’s home. Her husband and she were so welcoming and left great detailed instructions on the running of their home and the care of Loki. As long as Loki gets his walks, his meals, and a few yummy treats you’ve got his heart. He’s very responsive and loves his belly rubs too! Even a week after leaving I still think of Loki. He’s memorable!

Kylie & Rohan are absolutely lovely people and Milo is a dream to look after. He has the most beautiful temperament and just loves being around you. The house is beautiful and has a really warm, cosy atmosphere with stunning views over their property. The house was very clean and tidy for our arrival and  Kylie and Rohan were very good communicators who left detailed instructions which were easy to follow. They made us feel so comfortable in their home and we had a wonderful time looking after Milo and their home. We’d love to go back and look after Milo anytime!

We loved staying at Jenny's and looking after beautiful Gigi and Bella. The cats had really fun personalities and they really warmed up to us by the time we left. The house is very comfortable and clean, and the area they live in is wonderful. Jenny is also very warm and friendly and made us feel at home immediately. Highly recommended!!
