What a lovely young family of four: Phokey-Cat being a much valued member and Sheikh of the oasis which is their herb-filled garden.. The location is perfect for local exploring (the longest street market in Europe, amazing restaurants and coffee shops from every corner of the globe, supermarkets, charity shops, parks and just around the corner is William Morris´beautiful house and museum. And then there is central London which is a Tube ride away and takes you directly to Tate Britain. Abra was available, helpful and friendly. The book-filled house is easy to keep tidy and surprisingly quiet for such a vibrant and accessible location. Thanks for choosing us and proving, once again, that trust is most often justified.
I'd give Diann and Nate 6 stars if I could! This was a highlight and gem in my sitting experience! Diann and Nate welcomed me a night before they left, took me out to dinner, and made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable in their home and in caring for their kitty, Alice. They are truly caring people and took the time to get to know me and even sent me photos and videos from their trip. Alice was super easy to care for. She adapted to my schedule and was not fussy about getting fed or being let out. She mostly kept to herself during the day but would get chatty and come for pets and cuddles in the evenings. The last couple nights she slept with me and cuddled extra. Cats know! One fun and unusual fact about Alice is she enjoys being petted against the grain! Strange but true. The home and location cannot be beat. Minutes away from the beach by foot, and the paved trail along the coast perfect for biking. I could hear the waves crashing and seals barking in the distance at night. The home itself is gorgeous, cozy and comfortable; and the garden is a dream. Full of lush plants and flowers, as well as mature fruit trees, I had more pears, apples and lemons than I could ask for. The ocean views from the deck were stunning. Huge thanks for this magical retreat in your home with Alice, Diann & Nate. Super highly recommended!
We were lucky enough to housesit Billie & Louie for Leigh and David. They are a lovely couple and it was a pleasure to housesit. Their home is beautiful and in a fabulous location, very close to the City Cat Ferry allowing easy access to the city and a short walk to Eat Street Markets. Detailed instructions made for an easy and stress free housesit and a very enjoyable 12 days. Would definitely housesit again if we can make the dates work and if anyone else is lucky enough to be chosen to housesit Billie & Louie then you are very lucky indeed. Lila is definitely the best-behaved dog we have ever cared for! she was so easy, friendly and obedient. Kate’s home is conveniently located in Seattle, it is close to the city and all that the city has to offer but far enough from noise and all the craze. We would certainly recommend this sit to other sitters.
Tomtom was super sweet and well behaved. The house was cozy and Hala was very nice and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed.
This sit was perfect. Carrie went out of her way to make me feel welcome and to make my stay comfortable. She even texted me whenever there was an interesting event in the neighborhood, which was really sweet! She was friendly and communicative all the time and answered questions whenever I had them. Now to the sweet cat named Olaf. Olaf can be shy at first but gets very cuddly once he gets used to you (for me it was the second day). He is very well behaved and easy to take care of. I would absolutely love to stay with him again in the future!
